Images not saving in iPad app

Whenever I save a screenshot or an image from internet it doesn't appear in the photos app. I am also not able to take photos on camera?
It is kind of strange. New iPad and hasn't been thrown around or anything.

Try closing the Photos and Camera apps completely and see if they then work properly : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Photos or Camera app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Camera and Photos apps to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Email images not loading on iPad and iPhone 4

Images are not loading in certain emails on both my iPad and iPhone 4 over wifi. They're showing up as blue boxes with a white question mark inside. Also in the iPad app store, certain app icons are showing as whited out. If i shut off wifi on the phone, the images will load in the emails through 3g. Does anyone have any idea what would cause these issues and how to correct the problem?

I had similar problems with both my iphone and ipad when using my wifi, but not when using cellular. Turned out to be a Comcast issue with their implementation of DNSSEC validation. This applies to Comcast DNS Servers 75.75.75.75 and 75.75.75.76.

Image not saved in PDF form

I've an Image Field, where user is required to choose an image.
I deployed and ran the project. When I click over the blank image field - "Select Image File" dialog box appears. I selected an image and it shows up on the form.
I saved the form, but when I opened it back, there was no image :-(.
I've tried binding the Image Field to Context attribute of type "binary". But that did not help either.
How can I save the image chosen by the user?

Your suggestion put me on the right track.
I created a context attribute of type string (for the URL) and tied it to the Imagefield.
Initially there is a dummy image. When user uploads his image, that image gets saved .

When I take a picture it is not saved in photo app

Hello,
I just bought a new IP4 and when I take a picture it is not saved in my camera roll folder (which doesn't exsist by the way).
Same problem for the videos. I can record one but I cannot have a look at it because it is not saved in the PHOTOS app.
Can someone help me out?

Podcast feed images not displaying in Podcast app

Several of the podcasts I subscribe to are not displaying the feed image in the Podcast app on my iphone. These are podcasts that I get from Itunes and I can subscribe, download, and play them fine. They have an image in itunes but for some reason, they do not display in the app.
An example is 60 Minutes - Full Audio and HandgunWorld Podcast.
Has anyone else had this issue? I would appreciate any advice. Right now I just have gray boxe tiles with the name of the Podcast. These are podcasts I subscribe to from my iphone.

Ok finally figured it out. Nothing to do with images at all. The imagePath was set in the app, but even though the default that was set to was the correct path it was being overridden by a flashvar. And each of the 3 loaders in the wrapper were setting it differently. The one for when you didn't have the right flash version wasn't setting it at all. The one for when you had the right flash version was setting it correctly, and the noscript version was setting it incorrectly.
It was the noscript version that was running for safari even though javascript was enabled.

"Updated images not saved" filter

I would like an option to search images that has been updated but not saved. I dont write automatically and to be sure I save all images. But if I cluld filter it out it would be better.

As a workaround, you can go to your top-most folder and use the filter bar to sort by Edit Time. This will put the images most recently edited at the top and make it easier to just select those with the "needs updating" icon.
As a side-note, if you select the entire catalog and hit Ctrl-S, my understanding and experience indicates that it only updates those that need updating and quickly skips over the other images. This is what I do now when I want to make sure I have updated all changes. Scanning the entire catalog of say 10,000 images only takes an additional minute or so. You can check by doing a complete catalog update twice in a row, the second time is the scan time with no changes being made.

Also are the pdf files password protected?
In password protected files user is not allowed to add any comments.

IPad apps will not download?, IPad apps will not download?

IPad apps will not update even though the iPad screen shows apps need upgrade. What's happening, is Apple losing it?

This problem has been ongoing for several days now. Hundreds of people are in the same boat as you. This is a problem that Apple has to fix. If you look around the forum, you will see many, many discusssions about this and they have been going on for a few days.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this is a workaround - for the time being.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store.

Images not saving

I opened my mail program, opened ten emails with four or five images each, and clicked on each image. I clicked Save Image. I went to Photos/Camera Roll and mine of the pics are saved there. Where are they?
I'm used to Windows where I can click Start then search for something. If there is a search this iPad button, I can't find it.

You are experiencing the software glitches that this forum suffers from all too often. I have been getting the "missing post syndrome" for several days. I track my discussions via "Your Stuff/Discussions" in the upper right part of the site.
I'm not sure what else to try for the saving images that would not be a PITA, but you could try resetting all settings. You won't lose any data if you do that, but you will have to enter all of your iPad settings again in the settings app.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings. Your privacy settings will be reset but theoretically that could make the save image setting work again.
I hope that the meds help and that the pain subsides soon.

Why do some images not appear unless iPad is rotated?

I Have an app which should display maps, sheet music etc (and did with ios7) but ios8 the images do not appear unless the iPad is rotated. Then they appear, but this has to be done for every image, and repeated for the same image when going back to it.
a Similar problem arises in Safari, when a tab is closed, the previous page does not display until the iPad is rotated.
this is iPad 4th gen retina, and iPad mini retina.
what is the problem, and is there a fix coming?

I’ve used Robohelp even before it was called that, way bay to Blue Sky software, then Macromedia and am now up to Adobe version 10 for HTML.
I have a series of projects that I maintain; they are on our network, as is the Robohelp program. The projects are laid out with a main folder, then subfolders for each section. I then import the html files into Robohelp from Windows 7 using the Project Manager, opening HTML Files (topics) folder, then right clicking on each folder and using the Import… option to navigate to the location on the network and import the html file.
The problem is that random files seem to be losing the images that have been linked (imbedded in the html pages) or are just not including the images, even though the images are properly inserted in the html pages, and are included in the source folders on the network. The only way to have these images show up in Robohelp is to delete the html page from Robohelp and reimport. This is random so I never know which pages are missing images until compiled. I have at least 4 major projects with pages ranging from 200-1500 in total so this is difficult to maintain.
I can’t think of anything I’m doing differently than I have done for the past 15 years. My supervisor is adamant that we forget Robohelp and use Atlassian Confluence and I am trying hard to hold my ground. It’s becoming more difficult to make the argument to upgrade to version 11 when I’m spending so much time retracing my steps.
If there is any help you could offer that would be very much appreciated.

ITunes 10.6.3 for Win7 64 bit does not work for iPad apps

I have downloaded and installed iTunes 10.6.3 64 bit for Window 7 four times - and re-installed 3 times. When it asks if I would like to repair, I way yes. This does not correct the problem. I have an iPad 2 w/ 3G and Wi-Fi.
My problem is that while the iTunes on my Windows PC (running Windows 7 Professional, w/Service Pack 1 - 64-bit) will start, and will show my iPad when the iPad is connected, when I click on the iPad listing, and then on the Apps tab - this feature is basically unusable. This screen shows the basic Home Screen - with all icons dimmed, and then smaller versions along the right side of the basic home screen and my 2 others I've created.
1. All of the home screens shown - and all icons - are dimmed.
2. There is no list of apps along the left side.
3. Clicking on any of the home screens or on any of the icons does nothing.
Therefore I'm not able to choose any apps to sync from the iPad to the PC - nor am I able to re-position any of the apps from one screen to another.
4. Clicking on the Sync Apps button on top left - says "All existing apps and their data on the iPad will be replaced with apps from this (the PC's) iTunes Library. In other words, the only thing I can do is sync from my PC to the iPad - thereby wiping out any new apps on the iPad.
5. Clicking on the Sync button in the lower left does nothing.
So basically, there is no syncing from my iPad to the PC -- period.
HELP!!!
(Oh - also when I connect my iPad, it says there is an update to the 5.1 operating system and would I like to update, but when I say Yes, it warns that I have purchased software on the iPad that has not yet been transferred to iTunes and I should do that first. But of course, since I can't sync, I can't do that first.)

I've also got a similar problem. I upgraded yesterday & today I find (mainly with previously purchased tracks) that iTunes only playes about 51sec of a track. The whole track plays when using "Quicktime" but this doesn't help me when I'm trying to put together a playlist.
Can anyone out the help?

I rated the app in the store and was to explain further regarding my work getting lost.    I've actually up'd the star rating because I think it's not really an Adobe issue. I think android closes apps when it reaches a certain limit of apps running. switching apps probably just closes photoshop touch. I know on HTC it's 7 apps.
Anyway, if you switch apps with the android app switcher, and use something else and come back, sometimes the app crashes, or just starts over, loosing your work. An example, switching to see a SMS and right back will close your project sometimes. Other times it goes back to exactly where it was at. Again, probably an android mememory thing..   Wondering if maybe you can have background saving to a temp file and reopen that if the app is closed by android.

EPUB images not showing in iPad iBooks.

I've managed to export a fixed layout epub from inDesign and everything renders fine in iBooks on my iMac but for some reason no images are shown when viewed in iBooks on my iPad. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

I think this is the issue with the image dimensions you are using. Make sure the images are less than 600 X 600 px for them to look fine on iBooks. The images will not appear if they exceed this limit.

Some images not showing on ipad when book is previewed

When I preview the book in progress, some images only appear in the thumbnails, not on the full page view. These same images were showing up a few versions ago. Other images are showing up just fine.

Hi KT and Anyone Else Who Could Help,
One thing I noticed is the images that are not showing up are all captioned, but with background shut off. I have a few image galleries as well, but those ARE showing up.
Some images are jpegs, others are pngs, but there is no pattern or correlation between image type and showing up, not showing up.
Besides, they all showed up previously.
So I removed the caption from one image and now it is showing up!
But I am nearly certain that in an earlier version WITH captions, they all showed, and I would like to keep the captions.
Any ideas?

Changes to button images not saved

I have dragged still images to some of the buttons on my scene menus, 'saving' each time.
Intermittently when reopening the project in iDVD the still images have been replaced by auto fill images from the movie clips associtated with the buttons.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there a work-around?

I noticed now that if a project is amended in iMovieHD, subsequently iDVD will ask whether you want the update it in iDVD. If yes is selected, then it is necessary to go back and review/change the scene menu photos.
