Images not visible on iTunes Store Home and Error 8012 while downloading

Almost three weeks ago I started to have problems with the iTunes Store as it does not shows the images on the screen, it just shows you images of a broken chain. In addition, I bought two songs and at the moment they start to download an Error 8012 appears.
What can I do?

I'm having the same problem with a song that I purchased on itunes also. The error says that the system can't find the album artwork and to retry using the itunes store. Many "retrys" later and it still won't download either the song nor the album art. I'm not worried about the art but I do need the song for a project. Anyone know what the mysterious 8012 error is? It's NOT a PC or mac problem because I've tried download from both machines and neither can download this song and both get the same error with the same advice.

Hello i'm facing  problem  i downloaded itunes version 11 32bit for windows 7 and after i installing the set up when i opened the iTunes a massages  occur saying i tunes could not connect to iTunes store an unknown error occurred (-3212) even  though my internet is on

    Try this...
Triple click anywhere in the line below to select it and press Ctrl+C to copy it.
    cmd /k netsh winsock reset
Press the WinLogoKey+R to open the run dialog, then Ctrl+V to paste, then press enter/return.
You should get something similar to this:
Reboot the computer and the problem should be resolved.
If it doesn't work then perhaps a full tear down and rebuild of iTunes will fix things. See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for details.

I have digital copies of movies on my itunes at home and used cloud to download on itunes at work but can t find them

Are they gone completely from the computer, or just no longer in the library? Check your movie media folder.
If your'e in the USA you can download some movies a second time, but not all (studio dependent).  You should always back up all media.

    Hello Embassykw,
It sounds like your iTunes Store page does not load and instead gives you an error code. I found this error code in an article that will be helpful for you named:
Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4123
The cause for these issues is a program that monitors the Winsock protocol for Windows conflicting with Apple software. These programs usually use a Layered Service Provider (LSP) that can help identify the particular program installed. The programs that monitor this protocol have a variety of purposes, including security software, content filtering, and optimization of network traffic.
Following the instructions should resolve the issue for you.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Take care,
    Sterling

  • Itunes could not connect to itunes store - an Unknown Error Occured (502 )

    PLEASE HELP !!!!!
For the last 3 days I have been trying to login to the itunes store, but have recieved the message "Itunes could not connect to itunes store - an unknown error occured (502)" each and every time. Can someone please tell me why this is happening and what I can do to fix the problem. I would really like to download some games onto my Ipod, but am having no luck.

      Windows XP

I have been getting the "cannot access" result for several days, even trying again repeatedly throughout the day and night. It may have started after the last Windows security update. I have not changed anything else on my system prior to this happening, nor have either of the ISP's I use. I agree "something" must have changed, but there seem to be a lot of other people experiencing this same problem. If you are one of them, did it start after applying the Windows update?

  • Could not complete your itunes store request. unknown error occurred (-4)

I synced my iPhone to my Macbook for the first time. When I connected the phone, iTunes opened and prompted me to login. I entered my Apple ID and password. Then, I synced my contacts and music to my phone.
Afterwards, I disconnected my phone from the computer and tried to download a free app. My phone prompted me to enter my apple username and password. I tried entering my Apple ID and password but access failed. So my first question is, is the Apple ID the same thing as an Apple account? Can I use it to login and download apps on iTunes?
Secondly, I tried creating an account on iTunes by selecting the button and an error message popped up. It said
'we could not complete your itunes store request. an unknown error occurred (-4). There was an error in the itunes store. please try again later.'
I'd love some help on this so I can start using my new phone =)

I found out how to sign up!

  • We could not complete your itunes store request. Error -1202. Windows 7

I can play music, sync, burn CDs, but I can not buy music OR edit any of my account details without getting this message.
We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-1202).
I have had this problem for a year now. I download and upgrade to each new version of iTunes has this same problem. (Currently I have version 11).
Apple Support's response to my email quick, but really pretty lame.  They just told me to browse these support forums.
I have tried all the many suggestions. NOTHING works.
There must be some way to fix this? So many users are having this problem.
    I am on Windows 7 - 64 bit.
    HELP!!!
    Please.

I'm having the same problem. It seems to only show up when searching. Any one know a fix?

    Hi rafter0,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
You are referencing the correct Knowledge Base article for your issue:
The most common issue seems to be with firewalls and security software.
iTunes: Specific update-and-restore error messages and advanced troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694#error3000
Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes can't contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.
Update to the latest version of iTunes.
Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
Check that your security or firewall software isn't interfering with ports 80 or 443 or with the server gs.apple.com.
Follow these steps to troubleshoot security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (go to "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you're using a proxy, try again without using a proxy.
Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.
    Hope this helps ...

Same problem here! Moreover, for some reason, the pictures in my iPhone 3GS somehow have been divided into 2 folders, Photos and Medialibrary. And when I open iPhone as a folder through the explorer I can see only the Photos folder, but cannot see the Medialibrary folder which stores the photos taken before updating/upgrading the iPhone and getting separated folders!!! What the hack with all of this?!!! When I connect iPhone to PC it automatically opens iTunes and starts syncronizing it, but at the process of OPTIMIZING the photos (and according to the number of photos it shows, I see that it tries to syncronize that invisible Medialibrary folder) the process suddenly stops and error message pops out Tried the sync test, tried the button DEBUG in that pop out message, but NOTHING HELPS!!! Also, when I open the Medialibrary in my iPhone, the screen get sblack all through scrolling it down, only the video clips are shown there... >.<
So, could you, apple developers, please, explain WHAT THIS PROBLEM IS ABOUT?!!!!!! FIX IT! I am getting ****** of to spend hours at the computer and reading those lame advises which do not help at all! I have my own things to do except reading your support websites. And I payed for the product ready to use, but not a halfproduct which problems should further be solved somehow by users..
