Images on websites are not clearly displayed

Dear All,
The last month or so i have noticed that images on websites are not as clear as they used to be. Seem to be fuzzy. This is not a great help when im buying cosmetics or clothes as the images are not clear enough to see what im purchasing. Its not just one website its all.
Ive not changed anything on my laptop that i know of, its all running as when i purchased it.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me to try?

Its not a notebook malfunction. There is all ok with the hardware. I assume you have changed something in the IE settings or the images on the websites are really blurred.
You can try to check the settings in the IE option View. Check if the text size is set to medium and the encoding to Unicode (UTF8)
What you can do also to reinstall the IE.

Images from KM are not getting displayed in EP

Hi All,
I am using EP7.0 SP11.When I run the portal, the images are not getting displayed. When I right click on the * mark and click on Show picture, then also its not appearing.
Location of the Images that I received from EP is mentioned below.

Images are available in the location in the below mentioned path as .jpg files:-

Difference in both is a DOCS folder missing in between........
Is this is the reason for the image not getting displayed?
Anything more has to be done in KM part to display these images?
May I know how to solve this issue??

Hi,
the right path look like this: /irj/go/km/docs/<path_to_document>.
You may have to check you URL generator service settings. Here:
Configuration - Content Management - Global Services - URL Generator Service(advanced section)
and then have a look for example for the following values "Content Access Path:" and "Viewer:" normally they both have same value "/irj/go/km/docs".

I have given images for tabs on a page. when iam applying images from the local disk, it is showing the images in edit mode. But when I view the page, it is not showing any images.
Where should i copy the images I use in my pages. I ahev copied all the images in the images directory of portal30 in server.
Please help.

Please check the httpd.conf file in your server for /images alias. The /images alias will point to a directory. Copy your
image files in that directory.

Images are not being display in people search for few users - why ?

In my farm, users having profile picture in UPSA and they are able to see in My Profile page as well.
However when I find user in People search - images are not being display for few users while for others it works.
I have checked picture property which is indexed and then I run full crawl still its same issue.
Following are the settings for Picture Property - would you please let me know why its still not being display in people search ?

Images on web page not clear

Just got a MacBook Air, running 10.7.3 and noticing that on many web sites (firefox and safari are the same), the images just are not clear. They are a bit fuzzy, and some have some sort of weird border around them. I have attached a screen shot of the amazon home page. Notice the weird gray area around the letters and images? Is there a setting or something that can make this better? Thanks.

Your displayed image is fiairly clear with no major anomlies, other than what looks like either slight drop shadow and anti-aliasing.
Upon closer inspection (close zoom), you see what looks like some compression and/or scaling artifacts.
Take a look at these two images. The first one is with the artifacts present at high zoom. The second is with the artifacts removed.
If this is what you are seeing, and it bothers you. there isn't much you can do. (it is the quality of the image from Amazon)
If on the otherhand, this post doesn't make sense, and you see the same problem on both my images, have your MBA checked out at a Genius Bar.

Pictogram in EP 7.4 are not getting displayed.

Hi Everyone
We have installed 7.4 and export the roles of portal 7.01 to 7.4 however the pictograms are not getting displayed.
We copied all the images manually from old path to the new one but still its broken using:
In the content administration >> web resource repository. In the tree find the folder "pictograms" right click on it and upload all of the pictograms
We followed the note 1753605 but that didnt help too.

What is the cause of this error?
The system take the picture resource for show the pictograms that show the screen of ESS.

We are working with AIX.
The Path /usr/sap/<SID>/J<SYSNR>/
j2ee/cluster/apps/sap.com/pcui_gp~xssutils exist , however the directory Components/com.sap.xss.ser.xssmenu.vc.areagroup.VcXssMenuAreaGroup not exist and we have created the folders. and in thie new folder copied the pictograms , however the issue continue.

Some fonts I use for my iWeb-made site are not properly displayed on other computer. How can I sort it out?

I have made a website and I have noticed that some fonts and some background shapes are not correctly displayed on other computers (non Mac users).
Could you help me to sort out this problem?

It's not a browser issue per se either.
You see the Font because the font is your computer. The same font has to be on the computer of your visitor.
iWeb use a substitute font based on a font list it uses. If that substitute font is missing too, the browser chooses a similar font, which is not always the one you want.
You can force your font to display on a PC (but not with Internet Explorer) using a custom stylesheet with an embedded font. See it here :

Labels are not clearly visible on Horizontal Axis

I want to display a full timestamp on the horizontal axis of a LineSeries. But the labels are not clearly visible. The below is the screenshot.
I have already tried using LabelRenderer and set a larger font size and also tried increasing the width of the label itself. But, it didnt work. It seems there is some container for the lable which has fixed width. Does anyone know how to increase this width and make the text clearly visible.

Portal Forms are not getting displayed in the new oracle environment.

The Forms in our Portal applications are not getting displayed after we have done the upgradation of Database in Unix from 8i to 9i. The reports are working fine.The forms that were added as portlets are not getting displayed and other forms that are called thorough links returns error when it is run. The Newly created forms are also not running but returns error. The Portal Version is 3.0.9.8.3. Pls help.

QS41_Code are not getting displayed

Dear Experts,
Scenario is,
1.     T-Code QS41
2.     Under code groups (of any catalogue) certain codes have been created.
3.     The same entries can be viewed through tables QPCT and QPCD.
4.     Unfortunately we could not see the codes in transaction code QS41, QS42 and QS43.
5.     We checked for authorization related object. But in spite of full authorization codes are not getting displayed.
6.     The message that we got is No entries found that match selection criteria Message no. SV004
Few more inputs,
u2022     Recently patch SPKE500053 for HCM module has been updated in system. Earlier level was SPKE500043.
u2022     Patch SAPKB64021 was updated for BASIS / BW/ ABAP. Earlier level was SAPKB64020.
We are worried that because of these patch upload are we facing this issue? Or else kindly let us know if another solution can be applied

Write Statements are not getting Displayed

Hi All,
We are going for Upgrade from 4.7 to ECC. So, in my program we have few write statements which are not getting displayed in the output. Those write statments are seen as errors in the extended check as Char. strings w/o text elements will not be translated: 'Income Tax Worksheet'.
Could any one please help me to over come this errors and Display the wite statements.
