Images page in different language

The language on my images pages is different, Czech, I think.
How do I reset to English. Only page effected and is not an issue when using IE.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Hi All,
I have developed new OA Page in English Lang. Now I want to let it work in multiple language. I have come to know about 2 utilities provided by Oracle: XLIFF Extractor and XLIFF Importer. But i have found that these utilities are for personalizations only.
Kindly give me guidance to make my OA Page work for multi-language.

I don't think its any different. You would need to use these tools only.
You would need to use the "xliffextract" utility to generate an XLIFF document for your custom page.
This XLIFF document (containing the translatable attributes and their en-US
translations) need to be converted into additional XLIFF documents (one per language translation that you require). Once these documents are created (remember that the xml should have the corresponding language specified) , you can import them into the MDS repository using the "xliffimport" utility, and saved in a separate location.
For more information, please take a look at the "Help Topics" in JDeveloper. If you search for "XLIFF" you will find topics on "Using the XLIFF Extractor" and "Using the XLIFF Importer".

Logoff page in different languages - transaction SICF

My logoff script works fine in the default language of my application. When I access my application in another language and want to logoff then my logoff script is not called. I have tried to maintain the service via the language button in SICF but without any luck.

Thanks. I have created URL iView using application integrator. In the step 2 of Iview creation wizard, I have selected Generic.

After this, I have finished all steps of iView creation. When I am running iView, it is asking for some parameters. I am providing some URL and it is working fine.
In your email, you have asked me to configure the Application Integrator iViews. The parameter I have to use is <Request.Language>. I tried a lot to find this parameter. I can not find it any where in iView property. Can you please let me know where exactly I have to alter value for language.
Few more question - How the iView will work? When it will ask for language. Based on userid, I want to change the language of iView content. How it can be acheived?
Will URL iView will work for secured connection URLs like https://www.somename.com:50000/irj/portal.
Whether NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS) will be needed for carrying out this exercise? We don't have NWDS installed for our project.

So I have just had my potentially duff hard drive replaced and uploaded my data from time machine to discover that pages is now speaking to me in a different language. The keyboard has been selected as UK during setup. How do I get back to qwerty?

What exactly are you referring to? Are the menus or templates for Pages in a different language? Does something strange appear on the screen when you type?
Could you perhaps use the Camera icon here to post a screenshot of what you are seeing?
To make sure you have the right keyboard, go to system preferences/language & text/input sources and make sure that only the box for US or British is checked (and that the box for French or German or anything else is not checked).

Hello Experts, i have issue with mime repository image with different languages ?

I was facing the issue with images : we are creating the images by using CSS tool to generate a button. that image type is .png , this images we are importing into webdyunpro component as a mime object.
These images are binided into button image source property. And i am writing the code for calling this button (this is uniq code for all languages).
But all langaues are working fine for spanish(ES) langage only it was not displaying the image. it is displyind cross mark.
Naming standard i ma mainintg for mime object name : Export_ES.png.(spanish).
Please can any one help me on this .

How to change the menu item's title in different language master page?

I have a menu item in my English master page. I can change the titles of the menu items as I like in English related pages, However when I change the titles in the same pages that is related to different language page master, the changes does not take affect. Please help.

Apple has a forum for iWork. You would be better off posting questions about Pages in that forum rather than the Leopard forum.

Not really, the reviews associated with a regional App Store are not offered in translation. You can try a copy and paste into Google/translate to get a translation that is often pretty rough. Changing stores/country/region is tedious and the specific reviews may not be given in a different store.

How use different languages in the edition and have the grammatical corrector?

I am using the "ibook author" to create a magazine with different languages as text, and I would like to know if the program can reconogize the different languages, because it is cutting very bad all the words when it arrives to the end of the parraf.
Please let me know what solution could work for this case.

Works everytime i try
screen shots
new book with basic template.
First add second chapter
then
1) click TOC page tab/button
2) select image drag new image and replace image
3) click second dot to go to next chapter (2)
4) drag in new photo (farmer guy is new photo, replaced b&w flow photo)
now click on frist dot to go back to chapter 1 TOC will be first photo draged in (nycity)

Working on books with different language editions?

I'd liked to exchange tips with people experienced in producing same title (book) in two or more languages (in two or more editions) using InDesign software.
Is-there a way to work with text layers on the same file, all pictures and design elements being locked on the pages? Not having two different files, one for each language.

My bad, I assumed you were using CS4.
Conditional text is actually not a well-chosen name as you can also assign conditional tags to images.
If you have images that contain text (like a text balloon) and you need to show a different image in a different version of the book you can make that conditional also.

How can I create 2 catalogues (same design but different languages)

I have to launch 2 catalogues (32 pages) in Indesign, with an equal layout but different languages. My client will need to start them both and won't wait for a agreement on a Master file. He'll update the layout all along the realisation (color, pictures and graphic design). To avoid waisting time by correcting twice, would you have a tip to link both composition and enhance automatically the background layout and ajustements over and above the languages ?
What would be the best method ?

Welcome to the discussions.
In the Accounts tab of Mail's preferences, you can set the Full Name (I don't know how it will be labelled in French - it is the 3rd field in Account Information). This is the name that will be displayed in the From column of the recipient's mail client.
But if the mail accounts are for two different users, it would be better to set up a separate login account on the mac for each of them, and then set up the mail preferences for the separate users.

How to create ePUB with full size images/pages to adjust according to device?

        I have been trying, for nigh on two months, to convert/create my 7 books that are in print into eBooks; with first publishing scheduled to be Nook, with Kindle on the eventually list. I am, sadly still working on just getting the first one published! And I could really use any assistance to get this figured out. My intent was to publish several weeks ago...now my desperation is to publish before the weather gets too warm and kids are outside most of the time...or at least no later than Easter. :0)
        First and foremost, my books are picture/poetry books for kids of all ages. They were fully designed in Photoshop, where I also created the full size images for the first eBook. I received the specifications from B&N for the various Nook devices. Under the assumption that it would be best to create the largest of the files, thus allowing smaller sized devices to adjust the page accordingly to fit and the largest would not overstretch a smaller image, I sized my pages to 1280px x 1920px at 72dpi. (now I hear 150 is standard??)
        My text is included within the image as the design is one image = one page. I included a full text only version of the story/poem at the end for those wishing to adjust text or use a voice reader. I obviously have all the original files, but for publishing they were all saved as JPGs.
        After quite a struggle and a whole lot of frustration I managed to complete the manuscript in Barnes and Noble's Nook Press Manuscript Editor. My internet is molasses and thus much of this was done in the wee hours of the morning when the rest of the time zone is asleep. I only had one page with an issue, of an extra blank line/space that was irreparable. I published, and found it was completely botched in publish, though the preview looked a-okay. Only about the top left 1/6 of each image/page was visible in either my laptop's Nook for PC or my Android Tablet's Nook App. So I agonizingly awaited another 10 hours, hoping no one would buy my book during that time, for it to be removed from sale.
        I downloaded a trial of InDesign CC, and after two weeks of not even being able to create a single new document for some screwy reason, I bought a month's subscription. So far I'm not entirely convinced of this whole Creative Cloud malarkey, especially considering...as like I said my internet is slow...it took me nearly 20 hours just download the software. (Is it really that difficult to offer disc, seriously?) After a chat and phone call I can, in theory, now use InDesign.
        I created a New Document for Digital Publishing at the aforementioned specs (1280 x 1920 px). I made the rectangle placeholders the full size of the page, and place one image per page. This usually inserted the image at about 50% and I would have to select 100% and then move as necessary in to place.
        Thus, my first question is: Is there a way to place an image at 100% without having to do that extra resizing step? Or if there is an alternative way to place the image to the full size of the page without any of those other steps that would be lovely too.
        Okay, after placing several pages/images I also selected each and went to Object Export Options and Checking the Custom Rasterization and "Resize to Text Flow". I then exported a trial ePUB to see what it would look like. On both the PC and Tablet in landscape mode it was a far cry better than the other, but about oh a 1/3 of the bottom of each page was cut off. On the tablet I rotated to portrait and voila full page. Woohoo! But alas, I don't want to limit it.
        Is there something I am doing wrong? Did I miss a step or two somewhere so that the full image will fit on the page? I feel like I'm just about to turn the page on this thing, but it's stuck to the one after that.
        I would greatly appreciate any insight, tips, help that anyone can offer. I have run the gauntlet of Barnes and Noble...cough, cough...support and apparently I ask questions which no Nook Press rep can answer and the forums over there have no clue about InDesign. It's almost as if with all the fantastic beautiful screens out there today nobody wants picture books! How does National Geographic do it?!

In case it is necessary: My laptop uses Window 7 Pro 64-bit, InDesign CC is 64-bit and my 10.1 tablet uses Android. I can view the EPUB files in Nook for PC and Nook for Android. I also have Kindle, LumiRead, and various other apps on the tablet. I can also have someone preview the finished epub, if need, on a Mac, iPad, and/or Android phone...though I do not have any of these. Not sure who has a Nook I can look at though. Thanks again.

I think here you want your images to fit in the full page size frame automatically. For this you can try the follwoing steps:
1. Create a new doc
2. Goto Object menu and choose Frame fitting options
3. Select Autofit and from Fitting drowdown, select "Fit content to frame". Refer the screenshot below:
After this you images should automatically fit in the entire page placeholder frames. Please let me know if this does not work or if the problem you are facing is different and I did not understand your problem correctly.

I installed Reader (in English) and it prints in a different language

I installed Reader [01/03/2010,in English] and it prints in a different language/garble.
I received a hospital appointment email with an attachment confirming my next day's appointment.
The attachment confirms place and time with a barcode to be scanned upon arrival at the hospital's kiosk.
So far all is good but, when I print the attachment it looks similar in format but is garbled.
It does not appear to be a translation to a foreign language but rather a series of random letters and symbols.
Examples:
Time: prints out as; Ujn f ; Provider:prints out as: Qspwjef s ; Location: prints out as: Mpdbyjo
09:00AM " " ; 1: ; 11BN Not only are the letters garbled but they are merged
I don't know what's wrong or how to fix it. My question is "What I Gotta Do?" HELP!

It "could" have something to do with improper embedding of the fonts used in the document. Reader is substituting for a different font which as you can see, rarely works.
One thing you can try is in the print menu find the option to "print as image" and see if that works.
If it doesn't, there isn't really anything you can do except to contact the folks that made the PDF and request that they embed all fonts.
