Images that zoom and move jitter after render.

I have a bunch of pictures that I put to music. Some move across the screen or zoom slowly. The images move smoothly until I render them, then it's like the images are on some bumpy path or something. They jitter or bump as they move.
I have de-interlaced the images, have changed the image formats, added max flicker filter, ensured that my render settings were at 100%, have redone the motion, have doubled the resolution of the image file (just in case the pixels were conflicting or having trouble at that resolution), and have adjusted settings in the individual item's properties.
My project was supposed to be delivered to the customer yesterday, but there's no way I'm going to deliver a jittery video. The problem is also equally noticeable on the DVD I produced . I have never had this problem in the past. Like I say, when the render bar is green, everything is smooth. After render, bumpy motion. All the motion (for the most part) is perfectly horizontal or vertical.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I had the exact same problem and was able to overcome it using a hack... this seems to be a bug in FCE.
I fixed it by rotating all my original images 90 degrees, replacing them in the timeline, rotating them back, then applying the zoom effects. They look perfect now. (Strange but true.)
Anyone with a better solution to this issue?

Thank you for your help, but I believe my questions remains unanswered -- mainly, because my English isn't the good.
Here's what I am asking:
1. I need something that is animated that blinks or flashes to alert the viewer to scroll down the page. I would put the wording: Scroll Down for more (and then an arrow blinks or gently moves up and down to alert the user to move down).
2. is there a way that the entire homepage on it's own moves downward?
Sorry for my poor English.

created by The Arthematics in Help with using Adobe Muse CC - View the full discussionIf I understood correctly. You can place arrows on each section of the page and use "fade-in" and "fade-out". And maybe you want this widget Anchor + – Adobe Muse Widget Directory to automatically scroll down. • Is it bad practice to capture an image that was deployed from mdt after adjustment?

is it bad practice to capture an image that was deployed from mdt after adjustment?
or there is no any consequences?
"When you hit a wrong note it's the next note that makes it good or bad". Miles Davis

During years I never captured the image deployed from mdt.
Today was a rush.
The request:
to install time consuming configuration application into the image.
I restored acronis image that used during couple of weeks for captures after small changes.
And decided to capture it again before the installation of local progam and final capture.
It failed after multiple trials. I posted the error yesterday here:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/a702bf17-8375-4bc7-b458-8ce4894f99e9/error-2147467259-during-capture?forum=mdt
As a last tip before suggesting to deploy existing image and sysprep it 20 times I deployed the image from MDT applied just Windows KBs and captured again with MDT it worked without any prob.
So against my usual habit I gave a deployd image for installing the tricky software and then will capture it for future deployment for 20 "special" computers. Feel not so good. But like you told:
"Will it hurt anything? Probably not" I took a chance. In the image no AV, just small things like 7Z and Adobe.
Encourage me for this case :)
Thanks.

• How do I cut an image in half and move the halves independently?

How do I cut an image in half, and move the halves independently?

Use the rectangular marquee tool to select half the image, then Layer>New Layer via cut. You can turn on the rulers and set a guide so you'll know the boundaries you want if you need it to be exactly half.
If you want to also be able to move the other half, before you start double click the background layer in the layers panel to turn it to a regular layer.

• Help getting an image to scale and move?

I have a still image in the timeline and I select it to load it back in the Source Window.
- On the first frame I select the Position and Scale watch icons.
- I then click to add a keyframe for both Position and Scale.
- I drag the Playhead to the last frame
- I add a keyframe for both Position and Scale on the last frame
- I scale the image down on the last frame
- I change it position by typing in a new coordinate
However, when I drag through the clip with the Playhead nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.

The first one is easy enough. You are not looking in the right place. It isn't in the sequence, they are on the timeline in the Effect Controls panel.
You need to look in the Effect Controls panel - see the red circles around the keyframes. If your panel does not show the images timeline in the Effect Controls panel, the second image shows you the arrow to click on.
You might want to try putting the keyframes a bit in from the beginning and a bit in from the end. That way you can see the keyframes easier. Once set the way you want them, you can select the keyframes and move the to the beginning or the end as required. Do this just so you can see the keyframes easier at first. Warning, you might want to zoom all the way in at the beginning and the end to make sure the keyframe is at the beginning or the end. Sometimes dragging it does not get it all the way there.
Your second issue is possibly more complicated. If you set the motion parameters before you click on the stopwatches, and you do not change anything after setting the stopwatches, then you must manually set a keyframe for each
If you set the stopwatches, then change the settings (both of them), the keyframes are placed for you. Once you move the CTI, if you change either motion setting, new keyframes will appear.
Let me know if this helps. Otherwise I will be more specific with my next tutorial.

• Restoring picture and movie files after hard drive failure and repair

I need some help restoring photo/movie files from my external hard drives after my iBook was repaired following a storm. I have backups hidden all over my external hard drives. I have unburned burn folders that may have pictures on them. I was using iPhoto from iLife 05 and iLife 08, and Kodak Easy Share. I have searched on spotlight using ".jpg", "pics", and ".mov" and titles of various images, but I am still missing images that I am fairly sure I duplicated to external hard drives. Any ideas for searching?

Thanks, I just downloaded EasyFind. I ran an initial search and it looked very effective. I will have to manually check the search results to see if it is getting any files I haven't already been able to find.

• Zoom and move

Is there a way to zoom into a photo and grab the photo and move it around within it's box? I just want to emphasize a certain point in a photo and I can zoom in but how can I grab the image and move it around to find this spot that I want to emphasize?

Michael, my apologies, I think I misunderstood your question. I didn't notice your question was under Book Printing and Design, and I thought you were asking about navigating in the viewer. Sorry.

• Pages zoom and move around when I attempt to write on them

New to iPad. Primary use for which I purchased it was to read and annote pdfs. I've purchased PF Expert, and am extremely pleased with it so far---not only the app, but the support provided by the developers.
My issue may just be due to my lack of experience with the iPad. It is that when I attempt to highlight a document in PDF Expert using a stylus, the page zooms in and out and moves around. This makes highlighting pretty inconvenient. I would like pages to remain fixed, the way a piece of paper would while I'm writing on it. I have wrist protection turned on in PDF Expert.
Is there something I'm missing regarding technique? Or is there something I can set somewhere that will prevent this form happening.
Thanks,
Eric Weir

• Clips shift in and out points after render (Dissolves messed up too) Urgent

Hello all, I have a frustrating and urgent problem.
I'm working with DV NTSC footage at 23.98 fps, shot 24pA and captured with the advanced pulldown removal from a dvx100.
The problem arises when I am rendering my footage from a color correction, etc, the in and out points of my shots change and the shot seems to shift. The cut points don't change, but the shot shifts position within them, almost as if rendering has caused final cut to use the slip tool on these and move them ever so slightly forward or backward.
This problem is also effecting my dissolves, causing them to start to dissolve then suddenly jerk into another part of the clip and then back to the shot that it is transitioning to.
I have tried outputting a QT movie of my timeline (in order to color correct that instead and avoid a render), but as you may have guessed, this only results in a QT movie with all of the above problems.
It is very similar, if not the same, as the problem described here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=8096178&#8096178
I'm under a deadline and any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks all,
Nathan

I've had that happen before. Crazy as it sounds, I "solved" it by laying a large video file over the top of the timeline (covering everything) then brought the opacity down to 0%. Go figure but it worked; everything straightened out and rendered fine.
Ghost in the machine for sure.

• Image suddenly reverted and history cleared after resuming from screensaver?

Apologies in advance everyone, I'm new here... I checked the FAQs and knowledgebase first, but didn't see anything remotely like this...
I'm running Photoshop CS3 v10.0.1 on Vista SP1, brand-new HP Pavilion m8400f machine w/AMD Phenom 9500 QuadCore 2.2GHz, 3GB RAM, ~600GB free still on HDD, not even old enough to bother defragging yet. I have a nVidia GeForce 8500 GT video card w/256MB dedicated video memory. Driver is updated.
I was working on an image and had to walk away for a bit. While I was gone, it went into screensaver, and when I came back, after logging back in I found that the image I had been working on had reverted back to an earlier state and that the history was cleared. No error messages came up and Photoshop was not frozen, crashed or etc. Business as usual, except that the image was "old," and the history gone.
Luckily it was recoverable, but I'm concerned about this happening again when it isn't. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm fairly sure I didn't click anything by mistake, press a key I shouldn't have...
Jessica

Absolutely, I should have saved. ::smacks forehead:: If I had lost anything unrecoverable, it would have been deserved. My mantra with Windows in general has always been to save early and often... because you never know. Forgot my own advice.
I was just wondering whether anyone else had run into this behavior before. John, I think it was just screensaver, but now I'm wondering whether there isn't something a little odd with the sleep process anyway... it's probably just something weird going on with my computer. Lovely. You buy a new system instead of building one, you hope you don't have to tech things. ::Sigh::
I'm going to be humming that all day at work Dave! Yes it is, it's a magic number...

• Still image that shimmies and shakes

There are 2 still images in this piece I'm finishing up that that shimmy and shake. They are only on the sreen for 3 seconds, but it's noticeable.
I thought I'd found the answer when I pulled them ouf of the Timeline, into the Viewer to have a look, and discovered that I must have neglected to Modify, Make Freezeframe.
So, I did this and put them back in the Timeline, but they still dance!
I again, pulled them to the Viewer just to make sure, and sure enough, they ARE freezeframes.
Why would they shake?
Thanks.
J.

The pulsing is the result of thin horizontal lines (or areas of high contrast) landing on one field but not the other. As the alternating fields are drawn by the monitor, you get a flickering/ pulsing effect.
The basic strategy is to:
1. tell the program to not use fields (in FCP set field dominance to NONE)
2. extend the horizontal elements vertically so they exist over more than one scanline. (In Photoshop - Use a slight vertical motion blur of 1-2 pixels)
3. Knock down areas of very high luminescence.
Alternately, you can use the gausian blur or flicker filter in FCP at the expense of softening the image.
cheers,

• How do I get buttons that function and move as they did in firefox 2?

In firefox 2 the back button was separate from the forward button. This was ideal for me because I could move them around. I always had "stop" in the middle which was useful for sites that redirect you numerous times and returning to the content I was at before. I almost never use the forward button. Is there a way to pull the buttons from Firefox 2 and put them into current versions? This merged button is like button 3 after they took away buttons 1 and 2. I want 1 and 2 back. Even if it means writing separate add ons (which I'm not currently able to do on my own). Most of the current add ons which "separate" them do not let you actually move them apart. Customizing my panel myself optimizes my work speed.

Use this to open the tab history list:
* Right click on the Back or Forward button
* Hold down the left mouse button on the enabled Back or Forward button until the list opens
You can look at this extension:
* Backward Forward History Dropdown: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/backforedrop/
