MacBook has stopped displaying some images e.g. iPhoto doesn't display slideshow, PowerPoint doesn't display slideshow, Preview doesn't display TIF's & GIF's though the images show in Finder Preview window - have I accidentally changed a setting? Or something else???

If you don't use Web Safe Fonts they will not show up correctly on computers which don't have that font installed.
The way to get it to look correctly on all computers is to add a drop shadow with 1% opacity to to the text box.
That will convert that text box into a image file which will diplay the same on all platforms.
Do not do that will lots of text as that text will not be available for search engines to use in ranking and listing your site.

1. Make thumbnail temporarily visible and drag the thumnail to the position you want.

2. Identify the slides in layers panel and drag their panel entries to the position you want.

Video slideshow not working in Internet Explorer

Hello, my website has a video slideshow on the homepage is not appearing properly in Internet Explorer:

It appears fine in Chrome on my computer, but I checked with a friend and in both Chrome and IE it is not displaying.
Is this a firewall issue? What can I do?

Viewing a video / slideshow, consecutively on fith generation ipod

I have seen an ipod and a monitor/tv displaying the same images / video simultaneously. I want to do the same. What combination of ipod/cables/tv/monitor/Computer(?)/configuration do I need to do the same?
Connecting my ipod 80gb to my tv only displays on one device.
How do I make both devices display the same at the same time?
bronze laptop, ipod video 80gb, lots of PC's, Apple server, 8100's, my first computer was a dell 316sx with a 20mb hard drive and 750k extended memory!!

I found out how it works...
A slideshow was produced in iMovie. The movie was transfered to the iPod, the iPod was powered by the monitor via usb, both the computer playing the slideshow and the iPod were synched so that they independantly were showing the same frames.
There was no physical mirroring at all, it was all done with mirrors

Soft images in Slideshow

When I go to view my images in View>Slideshow they are very soft almost blurred. The thumbnails are fine as are the preview images in Bridge.
If I left click on the image in slideshow and zoom on the image it becomes sharp, when I right click to zoom back to full image it becomes blurred again.
This is very annoying as I have used the manual slideshow in CS3 to quickly assess and rate my images with no problems.
What am I doing wrong? Please help

Most of the problems in slide show are realated to the video card or driver. Make sure you have the latest driver installed.
If this does not work in advanced preferences click "use software rendering" and see it that solves problem.

Hi all,
Newbe question. I want to create an image only slideshow but not sure how to go about setting this up. All the sequences are set up for use with video (as i would expect).
I guess what I'm asking is what default sequence settings should I use and what size should I crop my images to before importing them into premeire pro. If it's make any difference i will just be creating video's to go on youtube.

Can't download/watch images, videos, files, websites...

My problem started 2 days ago when i switched internet (from my parents house to my room close to school).
Immediately these problems occurred:
* Very slow internet (with moments)
* I have to reload websites 3-10 or more times until i can view the full page
* Downloading always stops at 99%
* Images show half at the top, the bottom half is in another color, or moved to the side, blurry ...
* Videos at youtube and other sides only show the black load screen, nothing more.
* When i game, spectate mode always freeze, (when i play not)
These are some possible problems i found, but i couldn't fix them with searching and trying on helpdesks:
* SSL error -> ssl_error_bad_mac_read (on every webbrower (opera, chrome, firefox, IE)
* Java is blocked because firefox says it is unstable or can damage my pc
* I noticed this in my virus scanner (i use F-secure client security) : 24/03/2014 GEN:Variant.Kazy.257837 and on 16/03/2014 Trojan.GenericKD.1595555 , both removed by the virus scanner.
I have tried many ways so solve the problem like:
* Delete Cache, history, add-ons ...
* Reset the modem
* Full computer scan (twice) and no virus, spyware or malware found
* Cleaned the pc with ccleaner
* I have read most of the support mozilla pages to find a solution like checking my ssl- or proxysettings...
* I have changed many things in options and programs (but changed them back when i saw it didn't work)
I also took yesterday my pc to school to check if it would be better with another internet connection, the websites were loading faster (not like before but still better), but the image/video/download problem stayed (school internet = wireless, here with cable)
I searched for info about a virus or trojan horse, but the only problem that was in common was a slow performance, not weird pop-ups or redirected to another site ...
Everything without internet works excellent, so for those programs my pc is still very fast
I hope someone can help me with this, if i forgot something important, i will add it.

What do you mean by "Off mode"? Do you mean the phone is turned "off"? If so, you can't do anything with any iPhone, other than look at it, if it's turned off. Off on an iPhone is off...nothing works.

Change position images in slideshow

You can resize and reposition both the Hero Image container and the Image inside that (by double-clicking the Hero Image).
Although your Hero Image size/position is fixed for all the images in slideshow, you can definitely move/resize the actual images inside individually. See if that helps you get it to work for you in the Slideshow itself.
Else you can always for go the Composition Widget which allows you to place individual target slides in different positions and have different sizes.

Found out LR wasn't stopping but slowed way down. For 19 pictures, no video and no sound it took over 6 Hrs to export. Does anyone have any ideas to help this? Thank You.

Firefox not showing correct HP background image/video, but IE (all versions), Chrome and Safari are. How do I fix this ASAP?

Website www.bludot.com is not showing the proper BG image/video on all browsers (Safari, Chrome and all IE versions) but not on Firefox. The code is right, but FF is still pulling old images. The correct image/HTML5 video should be a cake, as displayed on all other browsers.

Firefox 9 is being withheld for Mac users due to unresolved crashing problems.
A test case would be nice and the URL for the website in question, so someone here can experience that problem first hand.

I am afraid, its not possible to import "Captions" within Adobe Muse. You need to manually type in caption for each individual image.
