Imaging not working (3.2 SP3 on NW6SP4) - works at three sites but not fourth...

About a month ago we set up ZfD3.2, SP3 on our NW6 SP4 servers. All of the
client workstations are XP Pro with client 4.9.0 SP2. We manually installed
the Linux partition on all machines and that is mostly working. I say
mostly because some of the workstations don't import into NDS the first
time - have to push on a few of them. That's not the question though.
At three sites, once the machines are in NDS clean, we can from C1 push down
a new images on reboot. It works - client reboots, ZfD partition sees that
the machine is to be re-imaged, and the workstation pulls down a new image.
One site doesn't reimage though. At this fourth site, the Linux partition
boots, and you see the message "Task Completed" but the imaging doesn't
happen. If you then go into C1 you'll see that the workstation has had the
"Reimage on reboot" flag cleared. The sites were all set up at the same
time - what could cause this one to fail? If you boot to the Linux
partition you can manually pull down an image. Just the auto-image doesn't
work...
I should say that after the time these servers/sites were set up, I found
that the Public Key Certificates had expired. Ran PKIDIAG and it rebuilt
the keys but, I still can't RConsoleJ into the server (that is running
Imaging and Inventory) using Secure IP - have to use Unsecure IP. The other
three sites I can use Secure IP. Don't know if that's a factor or not and
haven't found out why (Secure IP doesn't work) but that's the only
difference I've found between sites.
Need to reimage some labs at this site pretty regularly and don't want to
have to do it manuallly each time!

Well manually shutting down the database, inventory service, java, etc
didn't affect the prob. Restarting the server and letting everything come
back up did. Imaging is working now...

It appears what happened is the installer though it was looking at a empty drive and just went ahead and installed.
I of course am assuming here you didn't use Disk Utility to format the drive first before installing, that would wipe out your files and programs for sure.
So what to do, what to do.
Well there is hope for you as long as the drive wasn't Filevaulted.
I'll explain. When a hard drive writes data for the first time to a drive, it starts at the very top and works it's way down.
When OS X was installed the first time, it was at the top of the drive, unless you upgraded then the upgraded OS X could have been written elsewhere.
Now when you just reinstalled OS X, the new OS went on the top of the drive, overwriting any data that was there previously, so what was there you have lost forever which is about 8GB or so. If it was the previous OS there, then your more in luck because only the old OS X was overwritten.
The remaining space on the drive still can have a copy of your files, provided it's not overwritten yet.
It's because when a hard drive deletes data or reformats, it doesn't remove the data off the drive or overwrites it immediately, it's just made so it's SPACE is available for new files to be written there.
So technically one can recover the deleted data off a non-encrypted/scrubbed hard drive with special software.
The way it does this is it reads the 1's and 0's of the files themselves, and through a lot of figuring out, can tell what that file is and what it belongs too.
So what you will have to do is this:
Create a data recovery/undelete external boot drive
or if you don't have the skills, then take it to a local PC/Mac tech and they can do a direct image of the drive and then you can run Data Rescue on it to rebuild your files.

This is what you should see under "plugins" in Opera:
Make sure Flash Player is listed and enabled.
It comes from the same place as the plug-in for Firefox, so one won't work if the other doesn't.

I'm not familiar with your router but are there any buttons on the front or back of it because sometimes you need to pair the router in order for your PC, laptop, phone or iPad to connect wirelessly with it?
From the routers I have used there are normally two buttons on the front or back (apart from the power button), pressing one of them allows you a few minutes to enter the required password on your iPad. Best look at the instructions for the router.

Purchased music does not count against your iCloud storage and you cannot get rid of them in the purchased tab.

My gmail, which is correctly configured for Mail with gmail SMTP and Google IMAP, works for awhile on Mail, which I leave open while working on other applications. But several times a day I get msg from Google: "We recently blocked a sign-in attempt to your Google Account" . . . and requiring me to verify my account details, re-enter passwords, confirm security settings (or change them from "disable" to "enable less secure methods" and so on). In Mail I also have tried "taking all accounts online", and re-entering my gmail password inside Mail account settings. These steps successfully re-set comms between gmail and Mail ... for awhile, then it happens again. Enough occurrences over a work day that I just quit Mail and revert to accessing gmail directly. Apple Care advisor and an Apple knowledge base article say that Apple can't deal with this, as gmail is third-party app, and they refer me to gmail, and so far I've found nothing helpful there.
From today I also have several instances of a window saying "Mail has unexpectedly closed" and asking me to Re-open it.
I also use Yahoo mail, which stops working with Mac Mail at the same time as gmail, but I do not receive notices to re-verify from Yahoo.

Try closing the Mail app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Adobe Flash plug in crashes on certain sites, but not on all (not on YouTube, for instance). The big problem is NBA league pass. I spoke to a friend who was happily watching NBA league pass next door, so their feed isn't the problem.
This occurs in both IE and Firefox. It also crashed Safari. I'm running Windows XP. I've reinstalled both browsers (latest version), rebooted several times, and reinstalled Flash too.

Since this is happening in all browsers, try turning off hardware acceleration in your [http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/help01.html Flash Player display settings]:
Right-click on any Flash video or animation (such as the animation on [http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ this Flash test page]), click "Settings" and uncheck “Enable hardware acceleration" in the Display tab.

I have a group of my images that rotate, and yes it happens oneach. I do believethat I have at one time had the images cover the entire screen, however I cannor remember how I made that happen, just like the desktop. I am sure it is old'ites setting in!

You deleted them in iPhoto on your Mac?
If you do not have a backup of your iPhoto library, run the recovery program you downloaded, then reimport the folder with recovered photos into iPhoto.
You will probably have to weed out plenty of seemingly duplicates (thumbnails, previews, and original files), since the program will not be able to reconstruct your events, only find image files.
