Imaging Stuck on Skipping System Bundle Knowledge Base Files

I am getting this message when imaging with our Windows 7 image to any model
machine. I'm not quite sure what is causing imaging to freeze at this point,
but I'm kind of stuck. We have ZCM 10.3.2. This started happening after I
applied the patch for ZCM to register Windows 7 SP1 computers. Thanks.

If you take a peek in your ztoolkit log file on one of the workstations that experienced this, my guess is that you will find an error that states "registration failed".
We have not found a reason why this happens, and it seems to be a completely random occurrence.
Aside from deleting the "error" related keys from HKLM\Software\ENGL\Ztoolkit, decrementing restartphase, and rebooting the workstation, (or simply manually running the zac reg command specified in the ztoolkit configuration, there is no good way to get around this aside from re-imaging the workstation again.
Please let me know if you find out anything interesting, as this problem seems to rear its ugly head randomly at the most inopportune times.

I should like to create a new knowledge base file. I use the Oracle version 9.2 and the OS is Windows 2000. I have created the thesaurus with

During the compile operation

Before the ctxkbtc command execution, I have created an empty directory for the expected .dat file:
ctx/data/hulx
with full control for every OS users.
What is missing or false in the commands? Where could I learn more on this special topic?

there are couple of files droldUS.dat,.. which are required to generate gists and themes, where can i find them or install them.
please help!

I checked the download page and it says:
"All Release 2 download pages contain Oracle Companion, Client, Clusterware, Gateways, and Application Express standalone downloads"
so you should already have it. Try searching for the filename that was in your error message.

Editing post-action Knowledge Base File

Hi all,
in some cases we are not able to edit our post-action scripts directly over the GUI.
If we try to edit, by choosing LOCAL/OPEN/KNOWLEDGE BASE FILE in the context menu, we get the messages
"Given file is not text format" written to the editor field.
This happens not always and we can't see a rule for this behavior.
Some suggestions?

you should enable debug in the console and see if there is anything useful in the logs:
Add these lines:

Supplied Knowledge Base Question DRG-11446

I am receiving message " DRG-11446 supplied knowledge base file c:\oracle\product\10.1.0\db_1\ctx_data\enlx\drolkUS.dat not installed "
when creating/syncing an index.
The language files are definitely installed, and in the correct directory.
Our lexer is set to INDEX_THEMES=YES for this particular index. Creating a test index with INDEX_THEMES=NO works fine.
Does anyone have any idea why this message might appear, when the files, in fact, are there?

Nice to hear from you. Hope things are going well.
This has actually been running well for some time now. The language files were installed a year or two ago and we've been using the index to create themes and summaries. This is just one of five databases (all ghosted images) and the only one that is having this problem.
I'm going to try to "re-install" the files from the Companion CD tomorrow morning but before I did that, I was casting about to see if there were any other reason (parameter, system setting, whatever) that might possibly cause a problem like this.

IPS anomaly detection knowledge base

and after finishing learning i see knowledge base file which is only 88 bytes in size. Is this normal ?

Depending on your network complexity, you may want to have anomaly detection in learning accept mode for longer than the default 24 hours Yes the knowledge base will replace with new knowledge base.

Nexus 5010 Won't Load System Image - Stuck at Boot Prompt

When imaging with Novell/ENGL, the image of the OS goes down and bundles install.
It then gets stuck forever with NAL request Knowledgebase 3.6.a.25.16 bundle installation blocked.. and it goes nowhere.
Any ideas on what may cause this?

note that the TID talks about "ZCM PRU updates can *appear* to cause
problems" - people get hung up about seeing the KB Updates bundle being
blocked and think it's holding everything else up - it isn't, it's our
software doing the job it's supposed to, and blocking that bundle until
we're ready for it. Using the TID will generally help you see what's
really causing the problem by letting you see the wood for the trees...

I have a knowledge base on my dev server and we imported same knowledge base to Prod server.
So here my questions is, we have created some rules in the dev knowledge base so we need to replicate same rules to prod knowledge base? how to overwrite prod knowledge base with Dev knowledge?

Hi Samir,
Stopping the e-mails to be sent out shouldn't be a problem in this system I think. You can still test everything, without the business getting confused. If you want to see if an e-mail is correct you can still check it in transaction SOST without it being sent.
Otherwise inform the business about e-mails sent form different systems and add the system name in the e-mail message so they know from which system the e-mail is comming and if they have to respond.

Can't find bundle for base....

Help needed....
When making a ResourceBundle.getbundle("texter",getlocale())
from an applet, within Init, I get MissingResourceException with the message Can't find bundle for base name texter....
Also, to mention is that within Init I set SystemSecuity.addProvider("IAIK")This is removed in destroy SystemSecurity.removeProvider ("IAIK").
The name on the properties file is texter.properties.
The above problem only occur the second time the applet initializes.
The applet is located in a servlets application.
Operating system is Windows NT, using IE and Netscape.
Last but not least, this is only a problem when using JRE 1.4 not when using JRE 1.3.

I am using IBM WebSphere Test Environment as a servletEngine, i put the propertiesfile in a jarfile together with
the appletpackage. So the servletpage loads everithing in the jarfile to the client. The strange thing is that this works the first time but not the second time.

Repair Disk Permissions utility stalled - I have read the knowledge base

I have researched the knowledge base and search for posts on this and cannot find answer: Running 10.4 at the latest version. used the original install 1 disc I received with Tiger to repair disc permissions (like Apple support has told me to do in the past, but my current research said I do not need to do this unless certain parameters are met, and none of the parameters applied, but oh well, I am here anyway). Cold Boot from the original install disc 1 and slected the start up disk I use (I only have one start up disc/drive). Did a repair disc permissions and got a long running routine that reporting a lot of fixes, then the utility has stalled -- no progress on the progress bar. I "stopped" the process using the "stop repair" button (three times). The log reflected the utility stopped, but the progress bar still is blue and not moving (for a couple of hours). When I go to quity File >Disk Utility, it warns me that Disk Utility is running and this may make my system unstable/unsuable.
QUESTION: CAN I JUST QUIT DISK UTILITY AND NOT HAVE ANY ADVERSE AFFECT ON MY IMAC DRIVE?

-after the first repair disk permission "stalled" process, I exited Disk Utility and cold booted the machine after I had disconnected all external devices other than the original iMac keyboard
-obtained the combo patch for 10.4.7 from the Apple download site (it had already been installed but I reinstalled per your advice)
-re-applied the combo patch and then did another cold boot
-ran Disk Utility from the original Tiger install #1 disk, and then selected "repair disk permissions" for my start up disk (I only have one)
- process ran for 10 minutes or so then gave the following error message: "Disk Utility Error: Disk Utility has lost its connection with disk utility management tool and cannot continue. Please quit disk utility and re-launch disk utility"
- I pushed the "stop disk permission repair" button, then quit disk utility, then cold booted the machine again.
-re-applied combo patch as above, then cold booted the machine
-ran disk utility from the original iMac install #1 disk, ran "repair disk permissions", and then received the same error message as above.
- I then just quit Disk Utility and cold booted the machine again and went about my business. There does not seem to be any problem with the machine (was not before, but I ran repair permissions thinkging this was a routine maintenance taks that should be run)
- in my prior search of the knowledge base, I found the following information about repair disk permissions:

You do not need to Repair Permissions on a regular basis.
There are only three occasions you need to do this:
1. When you have just installed something that required you to run an Installer, rather than just copying some software to a folder. This should be done for both Apple and non-Apple software.
2. When you have been working on your OS X files or folders while booted from OS 9, or remotely connected via a non-OS X machine, since OS 9 and other systems do not handle OS X's permissions correctly.
3. The other case is if your system is behaving strangely, when you should run Disk Repair from your CD followed by Repair Permissions. This is just to eliminate these things before going on to further trouble-shooting.
Otherwise you can happily forget about Permissions!"

Mobile 3.1 can't find bundle for base name labels

Hi all.
I installed the Business Objects Mobile 3.1 few days ago on a dedicated server without using proxy server because the installation is in test mode with no external access. Both products (BO Enterprise XI3.1 & BO Mobile 3.1) are installed on separate Windows Server 2003 machines. The installation has the default database (Apache Derby) and both services (VAS & VMS) are working. The mobile device is a virtual device on my PC using Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system.
The client application has been installed on mobile device and users can succesfully log on to the CMS using Enterpise Authentication method. After this two folder icons are displayed on screen, first for Local Documents and second for Server Documents. Clicking the Server Documents the following error message is displayed on screen "Can't find bundle for base name labels, locale el_GR (0x15)"
I tried to resolve the problem changing the regional settings from Greek to US in servers, my PC and Virtual Device but the exact error still appears. Does anybody knows what to do or where to look for a solution?

Here is my suggestion.
Do you have the property file named "webui-resources_en_US.properties"?
Here is the example

copy the webui-resources_en_US.properties file to the directory
com.<companyname> in your workspace/IDE/localdirectory. or ftp that file to classes/com/companyname directory

Error 6 even after installing the software from Knowledge Base

I am sure this has been on here before but I cannot find it.
I am building a wedding video, one main menu, two sub menus with 7 chapters each.
Check project reveals all set to go.
tried to use the software recommended in the knowledge base but my system already has the latest version installed.
SItuation-
Burning Mpeg 2 BluRay Max quality
All assets include two timelines (Trancscoded at Max quality), 3 menus, one sound track for menu.
Using Dell 690 Workstation
Duel Xeon Quadcore 5455's
Loaded 16 gigs of Ram but using three since XP32 SP3
Sony Blu-ray burner (other burner disabled)
7TB's of Hard drive attached to system. 5 on board Drives and 4TB through Esata. System drive 10000RPM WD Rap.
have Avid Media composer on this System too (If those drivers could be of issue and Sonic Scenarist (This project does not need that power)).
Also Several conversion apps Sorrenson, TMPGEnc, Procoder, AVS Video converter. (Driver issues interfering?).
Never produced a wedding video as my line is Football but did a 5 camera HD shoot (also shot some Super 8 footage upconverted to HD) for nephew as a wedding present. Sending him a Blu-
Ray Samsung player with the video this week if I can get it on the Disc.
Could start over with Sonic DVDit HD or Scenarist but spent last night building this encore job.

I actually spoke to an employee at Park Av (Adobe headquarters) in San Jose this morning through a friend in the industry who added her on (There is someone there all the time he said).
The simple fix according to her is just the cause that was in your link, it comes from transferring assets in and out. I had done that and the replacement cued up the error 6. There are other error 6's generated but that was the first question she asked.
Anyway I really appreciate the response.
Actually writing the disc now with just a few gigs to go on the Test Copy.
