IMAP/Exchange Feature working or not working

I'm having wondering if anyone else if having a problem using the IMAP feature on the IPHONE. I'm on a mail server that allows us to use imap where ever? When configuring the iphone with the same settings I'm still running into problems. I'm getting a message, " The user name or password for "our server" is incorrect" When in fact it's the exact specifications. Has anyone else gotten a mail account imap'd or has anyone been successful setting up the exchange account through iphone?

I'm not using the IMAP feature of the phone but I would imagine it would be domain\user. So if your domain is "planet" it would be planet\steve. If your Active Directory domain is planet.com then it would be planet.com\steve and then type in your password.
Likewise, when you "bind" to an AD server from an system that is not bound to the AD domain, you need to type in domain\user when browsing the AD tree.
This is just a logical guess of what the problem is -- it may be off but that's what I'd try.

Unable to use all the feature of my email service (Juno on the web) like; font size/color, bolding, italics, highlighting etc why? Those features work through Internet Explorer but not Firefox.

When I go to my Juno on the web through Firefox, I am unable to use the tool features such as:
Font size / Color
Bolding
Italics
Bullets
Highlighting
just to name a few. Yet when I bring it up through Internet Explorer these features work, plus the way Firefox reads my Juno the tabs are distorted (the page is not formatted correctly, I contacted Juno they said I should contact my modem company AT& T they said no so you are my last resort.. Please help resolve my issue, THANK YOU in advance for assisting with this matter.

It is up to Juno to enable Midas, the Rich Text Editor which is built into Firefox, with one little line of code on every web page that has RTE for IE. There's nothing that you can do to turn that feature on your self, it has to be coded on each web page that has Rich Text Editing.

Their ignorance probably lies with their staff programmers only knowing how to do it for IE ''(their training and certificates are probably from the Microsoft cabal)'', and not realizing that Gecko and WebKit apps each have their own Rich Text Editor's, which require their own small line of code to enable those Editor's.

I have a suspicion you're working with a scanned document that has had OCR run to recognize the text. The recognized text may be stored on an invisible layer above the image of the text, and that is what you're toucing up. It's invisible, so you don't see it, but retains the changes, so exporting produces the new edits.
When you run OCR to recognize scanned text,, try using the ClearScan option, instead of Searchable Text. See this help page on Acrobat (this is for version X, but still applies):

Why does my php export feature work in IE and not Firefox? I've written a web application which contains a SigmaGrid. The grid controls reload, add update delete, print and export to csv all work in IE8. The export feature does not work in Firefox.

I'm not sure what's going on for you. I've had 4 other developers - two on Comcast and two on Fios review my work and they get the control and export action in the IE8 version but not the FF10 version.

Using Exchange Web Service (EWS) Streaming Notifications for a shared mailbox in Exchange Server, works or not?

I am planning to develop an application to use EWS managed API streaming notification for listening the new email event of a shared mailbox. Will it will work or not? I knew it works for a personal mailbox, where the authentication of EWS can be performed
with the associated Active directory account. For the shared mailbox in Exchange Server, is there such an Active Directory account associated?

Yes that's correct (try it yourself with the EWSEditor)

Not sure what you mean by this ? A Shared a Mailbox is just like any other Exchange Mailbox if you have rights to the Folder then you can create a subscription against it. There is no automation involved.

If you followed the instructions in the support article exactly (leaving the machine off for two minutes), then it has a hardware fault. Take it to an Apple Store or other authorized service provider for repair.

I can only guess about the reason... Firefox works with many websites' "rich text" editors, but ones that haven't been updated for five years may assume that Firefox is the old Netscape browser and use scripting techniques that don't work in Firefox.
If Verizon has a different "basic" or HTML editor that you can tolerate using, you could try that. It might not be subject to the same incompatibilities.
If I someday get a Verizon account, I will surely be looking into this further, but for now, it's hard to suggest anything else.

Go to Settings>Safari>Auto Fill>On .... Names and Passwords>On .... Use Contact Info>On. Make sure that your contact information is correct.
Then quit Settings and Safari completely and restart the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
See if that helps.

Microsoft exchange email worked fine, now iPad does not recognize the server

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

When I restart my Laptop, it shows work on feature and do not turn off, and then it shows restart for two hours, what should I do?

Welcome to the HP Community! I will be happy to help you with your laptop but I will need some additional information. I am not sure what you mean by “work on feature”. What screen does it stop on when it is restarting for those two hours? Are you getting any error messages at all? What operating system are you using? What is the product number for your laptop?

First thing to try is a reboot of your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
My Do Not Disturb schedule worked fine for me last night. I turned that feature back on yesterday, January 7, 2013 and DND came on and turned off as scheduled last night. Hopefully the reset described above will help you.
