Imap server not responding cannot sent or receive emails on my cell

I just received my new replacement Iphone 4 yesterday. There was a hardware issue with my original Iphone 4. I cannot send or receive Yahoo emails?
It says the following: " apple.imap.mail.yahoo.com " is not responding. check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the " incoming mail server " field.
I did all that plus I also changed my password etc.
What shall I do?

One thing to try is it's possible one or more Mail setting is corrupt on your iMac. Go to Mail - Preferences - Accounts and locate your AOL account. Then re-input all of the settings even if they look OK. If that does not work you can use Apples Mail Troubleshooting article at:

If that does not help then contact AOL directly and ask for some help, it's their mail system.

I'm having heavy issues with the email app on my iP4.
It started yesterday when it showed up my inbox like this:

I rebooted without success.
All of a sudden it worked again when I checked about half an hour later.
Today in the noon the same error, but it stays the same for hours now.
I rebooted, switched off and on without success.
I deleted the IMAP account, rebooted, started to create the same account. Then I am asked if I want to configure the acc. without SSL (which is not needed), I say No and save the acc.
When I want to check my emails it says that there is no password configured, so I go into settings, set it up again (and I am sure that I set it right at first setup), check email again and get the message that the IMAP server of the acc. does not respond.
This is driving me nuts. I had this issue 2 or 3 weeks ago already and restored from a backup, after that it worked ok. Last week I installed everything from scratch, it took me 2 days to reconfigure my phone for my needs.
Maybe someone has an idea before I send my phone in...
PS: This applies to several email providers. On my wife's 3GS everything works fine.

I have been the same issue on my iPhone 4 since last saturday (01:34 A.M, Paris time).
My iPhone cannot sync anymore with my gmail account using IMAP protocol ! It has been working fine on different generations et now, it just won't !
All my other accounts work just fine and it's not related to some kind of wireless operator limitation.
I have googled this and found out that people are having the same issue. I tried everything but nothing solves it !
Any bugs causing this ?

Email Setup: IMAP Server not responding

I just got an iPhone and am trying to set up my Yahoo email account. I've tried multiple times and failed. The error message I'm receiving is "The IMAP server 'apple.imap.mail.yahoo.com" is not responding. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the "Incoming Mail Server Field".
I didn't have to enter any info for the incoming mail server (nor is there an option for it). Also, my phone's WiFi is working so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Check your network connection and the information entered into the fields "Server Recovery" "
I am connected to 3G, I tested my card on another phone it works no problem.
ko with the iphone.
Ps: it works in wifi.

BBID server not responding, cannot get into BBM

Hello, this morning I tried to get into BBM and it asked me to enter my BBID, after entering the correct password it gets stuck at "associating BBM with your BB ID and then gives a message "server is not responding, please try again later".
I have tried
1. battery pull
2, uninstall BBM and install
3. log into BBID on computer sucessfully
4, changed BBID password sucessfully
5. searching for others having this issue
All other applications are working as normal.

I don't seem to find any issues on BBM.. BTW, both of you try doing an HRT - Host Routing Table
Options > Device > Advance System Settings > Host Routing Table (enter in) > click the blackberry menu key & select "resigter now"
Once done; do a battery pull & then try authenticating once again.

Ok problem is iPad not server. Was working before I put os6 on here. I have had this occur before and a reset fixed it but tonight it won't. Any ideas? I know my settings are correct.

Help! Was using my iPad yesterday set it down for 10 minutes and all of a sudden received "server not responding" and "Cannot verify server" error messages. Cannot open/connect to iTunes to update software. Wifi is working with strong signal. Even though other devices are connected to wifi, it still could be that you are not connected. Is the wifi icon at the top of the display illuminated.

Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

Same here! Happened yesterday to me on New iPad and iPhone 4S. On iPad I managed to correct it by removing the account and activating it again as an Exchange account...I have mail and calendar OK!
On the iPhone nothing seems to work!
Facts:
1. everything worked perfectly for years!
2. I have the 2-step authentication deactivated on my google account so it cannot be this one.
3. On desktop everything works just fine, on iPad everything is OK with Exchange account added (after Google removed support for Exchange account access I CAN ONLY HAVE ONE DEVICE with Google Exchange account, so doing the same on the iPhone does not work!)
4. Tried to remove and add the account again - no results.
5. Tried to remove and add as Google, as Exchange, as Other account - I get calendar but no mail!!!
6. Tried to reboot between remove/add accounts - no results.
7. Tried to ("reset settings") reset the device - no results.
8. Tried to add as POP account and I it worked - I get mail but I do not need POP as I am using zounds of mail with labels and need to be working on an IMAP account
9. To make things even more complicated...I have another account which works perfectly!!!!!
Anyone out there having a clue?

Zcm 11.2.4 preboot server not responding

At least since update 11.2.4 can no longer do imaging. I am pretty sure I was doing imaging fine in 11.2.3a, certain in the 11.2.2 level.

is not expired, license state shows active for configuration management.
client does PXE to maintenance mode just fine and I can ping the zcm server just fine by short or long name from the maintenance mode prompt.
cannot send or receive images, have tried on a couple different systems.
I don't believe any else has changed in the network except for the ZCM update from 11.2.3a to 11.2.4
Any help would be appreciated.

Same issue here. I can start the "novell-pbserv" service and it reports "running". All other services are running.
PXE boot OK but as soon as i try to image a device age and get the message mentioned above and

Server Not responding message

Why am I receiving a message that says "server not responding" when using safari on my IPad?

When I reset safari it cleared the cache and deleted any cookies already. I tried it again but still no help. I've noticed there are random other sites I also cannot access with exactly the same error. It happens with Opera so it's not just a Safari issue and I've disabled Norton Security, even uninstalled it and that didn't resolve the issue either so I'm at a loss.

Unable to connect, server not responding

Hello,
We've resurrected a machine running 10.4.x from the dead back into use but it isn't happy with our network. It is configured correctly as far as I can tell. It responds to pings, can browse websites, and can mount other drives; however, when I try to mount the 10.4.x machine's drive from another machine I get the following:
"Unable to connect - server not responding." Which I know is completely untrue after testing ping.
I only entered the ip address in the Go > Connect to Server dialog. When attempting to connect from another machine I see a little more output:
"The finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "afp://10.0.1.7" could not be read or written. (Error code -36)"
I am lost here, any help or observations are highly appreciated.

Not very helpful, but generally means a Drive quit being Readable or Writable since starting the operation...

Business Object Designer Server Not Responding (SBO0001)

Hello! I receive this error after importing the universe in BO Designer and clicking on Universe Parameters.
Server Not Responding (SBO0001)
and when I click details it says:
DBD: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the Driver and Application
I receive it when I test the database connection. I am using Windows 7 and when I go into ODBC Administrative Tools and test it works fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please install the BO Clients tools XI 3.1 Service Pack 3 Full version . Windows 7 is supported only for XI 3.1 SP3 and higher.
You have to upgrade your BOBJ server also (Client and server should be at the same version).
And please install the 32bit database drivers. BO is 32bit and altough it runs on 64bit OS ithout a problem, it can only use 32bit libraries/drivers.
