IMAQ Create for compressed .avi - cannot open the new file afterwards with IMAQ Open
Hi there,
i hope i'm in the right board.
I recently tried to compress avi-files i collected from various cameras throughout the last years.
At first i used VDub and ffdshow with a FFVH codec - it worked fine as long as i won't try to open the compressed avi using IMAQ Open.
I googled a bit and read a lot in these forums, tried several solutions - none of them worked.
So i gave it a last, let's call it fail-proof, try:
I took the original .avi (uncompressed, openable with IMAQ Open) and used my newly gained knowledge to use LV for the compression work, i chose from IMAQ AVI Get Filter Names the ffdshow Video Codec and built a small read-write for-loop to convert the AVI frame for frame.
All worked fine despite the problem, that i still cannot open the compressed file in IMAQ Open - and i do not know why.
I would be glad to force labview to decode and open the compressed file with a certain codec, but i found no option for this.

PLease help me. how can i open it ?I my case there is no button - I can't even scroll down. But I also don't get any error message, especially not "domain error 912".
If I try to open the .mov file the screen shows the movie-progressbar (where you can normally scroll through the video) for half a second and then the screen goes gray. In the middle of the gray screen I can see the file name and the text "QuickTime-Film" (german version) and the file size. Underneath is a "play-button" (with no reaction if I click on it) and the buttons for forwarding the movie and the button for airplay. No "Download full message"-button.
Seems that we are having different problems with more or less the same result. Again, it only seems to happen with mail which was sent through MS Exchange and it started with IOS 7.1. Therefore I don't think that we can fix it but I hope that someone from Apple is "listening".
My fault! I misunderstood your posting - I was looking for a "download full message"-Button on the screen AFTER clicking on the movie icon. But you meant the mail itself - and there I found it. Thanx! That also explains why small mail went through without problems but larger didn't. -
When I try to open a PSD file, Photoshop opens the new file dialog box instead
This does not happen with all files, but I have a few that have become corrupted it seems. I have previously opened, edited and saved these files without any difficulty, but now they will not open.
This is what Photoshop shows when I try to open the files
For the affected files, it does not matter if I open my Library and click on the file, or click File>Open within Photoshop. The same thing happens.
If I click OK, then a blank file opens.
Any ideas on how to fix the file?These file may be corrupt if Photoshop CS6 works otherwise. If you upload them to a file sharing server and post a link to them I will download them and see if I can open them in the versions of Photoshop I have installed on my machines.

Downloaded a music file which originally played through my playlist in iTunes but now it comes up with a message that the original file cannot be located although the file appears in the play list. It asks if it should search for the relevant file which takes me to the root directory and is no help.

You would need to locate the song on your computer to link them back up so it will play. If you cannot find it and it was purchased from the iTunes Store, you can delete the track and download it again for free.

Which version of iPhoto do you have? I believe that the latest, released with mavericks, is 9.5.

First try the easy fix. Go to the editor preferences>general, click this button, and restart the editor:

What do you mean? Reader does not combine your files... It's technically impossible for it to do so.

I've duplicate the file default.env with Enterprise Manger and I named prueba.env and I get on the list of EM, but when you restart the machine and go back inside in EM, I only see the file default.env . "Someone knows something about it?

I have a problem when I open the new tab. Normaly, I open the new tab as click mouse in button near to last page. " new tab" appear with untitled page. But now , It always appear with web sites wich I don't like. So, How can i repare this problem ?
This feature is likely to have been added by an extension. Check the settings for your extensions to see if they show this feature.

I am trying to install ViaCAD v7.2 for Mac, but when I try to open the ".dmg" file, it will not open, so the installation never begins.
I was trying to find the system specifications ViaCAD v7.2 but wasn't too successful. However I found the App Store has V8.0.2, have you already purchased 7.2? If so perhaps you could request an exchange for a more current version.

EA Could Not Find The .html File Associated With...
After naming folder names, I now get the "EA could not find the .html file associated with..." message when I open the .edge file. When I open the .an file, I have all elements and the timeline are gone! How can I restore it? Surely, it is just a question of changing a path, or? Please help. Thanks!
From the File > Open menu, browse to the that same folder (the newly renamed one), and select the .html file.

i bought an eBook from iTunes. I can view/read it perfectly on my iPhone but when I try to open the eBook file on my iPad, I get the error message, "Cannot open book. This book is protected by an incompatible technology." Any ideas for me? thx

I have seen previous versions mentioned in a pop up message before on iCloud.com, but I'm not really sure at all how it would help, as I couldn't get it to do anything.
The best advice I have at this time is to back up your work on your iOS device by regularly saving it to iTunes, if anything goes wrong you can then either load it into the numbers app again on the device or recover it via iTunes on your computer.
My syncs are immediate, I never get chance to see if it works in the background, sorry. -
I created a new library so I can use it for just my music, but now my ipod will only sync to my old library and not the new one I created, even though I'm in the new library when I open itunes. Any solutions?
The point is that there are four i product users for one computer in my house, and not everyone wants the same music on their device. Like I said before, the ipod is not syncing to the new library even though I plug it in when the new itunes library is pulled up. It keeps syncing to the old library...
