I recently upgrades the operating systems on the kids IPODs allowing I message but keep getting I Message Activation Error please retry. I have a WI-Fi connection working, not sure what else to try?

When I am updating HR Software component to SP23, it gives an DDIC Activation error. After checking the logs, "Table Type HRPP_T_PPDIT_HASH could not be activated" was displayed.
Did a consistency check on table PPDIT, which said it was consistent.
Kernel level is latest 185. R3 trans and Tp is also latest.

Webpage error for iPod software update

For months now, my iTunes has asked me if I wanted to update my iPod software. Every time I tried to do so, I would receive an "error on page" message from their web site. Finally, I quit trying to update the software since everything was working fine. Now, I've updated my iTunes to the new 5.0 and get a new message that some of the songs could not be updated to my iPod because my iPod software is too old and needs to be updated. Ok. That seems logical. But, I still get the same message when I go to their web site ... "error on page". I've looked everywhere possible for another way but can't find one. I also haven't found a way to actually send Apple a message asking for help.

Help, Recovery/Restore error For ipod touch 2g

Hi, im hoping someone can help my because I really dread sending it away.
I've had my ipod for a total of seventeen days +(touch 2g 8gig),+ and yesterday when I plugged it into sync to the computer it was showing no music on it and about 4 gig of "other". After this, I disconnected it and checked on my ipod and I had seen that all my music was erased, and I couldnt find the 4 gig of other?
Anywho, I decided to restore it to its original settings.
Shortly into the restore I get an error message(14), and after I get this it booted into recovery mode and says I must restore before I can use it, but the problem is everytime I try to restore I get the same error message.
I have tried all the steps on the support page for error codes and still nothing.
I'd really like to resolve this and not have to send it away.
Any help would be greatly appreaciated

FINALLY someone with the same problem as me. Exact same, and still unsolved...
I got the iPod Touch 2g 8GB on the 27th of December and on the 25th of January, I plug it in to Sync more music, and it says I have approx. 4gb of 'other', then my music was all gone...
I have tried update and restore ATLEAST 50 times by now and Soon, I'll give up hope and send it away. I even try the Shift+Restore method (I use XP) and get either error unknown (1) or error unknown (5) when i try it in DFU mode.
I hope someone helps solve our, as I love the iPod Touch.
Any help would be appreciated.
P.S, I have NOT tried to jailbreak it.

'Activation error..' message when uploading rules for multiple territories

Hi All,
When trying to upload rules for multiple territories using Excel, only a few territories get activated and for the rest an error saying 'Activation Error for Function <hexadecimal values>...N: see following message for details' is displayed. It was found that this is due to the territories getting locked.
The create_rule() and save_rule() methods of CL_CRM_FDT class and FM CRM_TERRMAN_LINK_BUFFER_UPDATE are used for this functionality.
Kindly suggest some ways to unlock or any other alternatives.

Error message below. The preview is fine . I can discount the first 2messages as its a new computer so plenty of disk space and upload doesn't seem to be interrupted. I have uploaded to iphoto before. have tried to upload 3times with the same error message. I had to photo my slides with a Kaiser Baas photo maker , which apparently doesn't scan but takes photos in megapixels of the slides. I am wondering now if the format is incompatible though they are jpg files or the colour type wrong. The image files are around 1-3 mb each and 72 ppi. I think I will now scan them properly with a scanner to 300dpi anyway to improve quality.
Apple talks about image files not being too big for uploading but gives no sizing of what too big is?

2. Low Disk Space. If your computer is running on low disk space, your files may be assembled incorrectly. Create more space by deleting unused files.

“SUCCESS!!! I took my iPod to a friend who is a computer programmer/genius. He turned off his wireless, hooked the ethernet cable directly into his computer, and the download went through without a hitch. YAY!”

It seems that tech support is clueless with this issue.
I have installed and unistalled iTunes 10.5, 10.3, 10.4, and now I am back with 10.5. I have tried looking up the issue from several search engines but no one seems to have a universal solution and I have tried several.
I really want to have this thing updated for himw hwne he opens it, but I am starting to worry that my purchase was a bust. My iPod says it needs to be activated and then says Activation Error, also won't connect to iTunes. Help?

My iPod Touch says it needs to be activated. I go to activate it using wifi and it comes up with Activation Error: this device is not registered as part of the iPod Developer Program. I'm not a memeber of that. I'm not even an developer, I'm 14. My iPod has worked normally for months now. Then I go to connect it to iTunes to reset it (I have checked and iI have the latest version) The computer recognises the iPod is connected Tand it charges but nothing appears up on iunes. My ipod touch 5th generation is stuck on activation error and I got this for Christmas so I don't know what the ipod developer program is! please help

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

ICloud Error! The maximum number of free accounts has been activated on this iPod touch.

This is seriously annoying, I've been going around in circles trying to get my music onto my bloody iPod. I can't sync because it pauses @ Step 4: Waiting for changes to be applied error for ios7 devices. So my only option is to use iTunes Match and pay 40 bucks for it, but I think for iTunes match, you also need an iCloud account. Well I can't! Because when I go to sign into my iCloud using my Apple ID, it pops up with this error: The maximum number of free accounts have been activated on this iPod touch.
I'm about to give up and kill every one of Apple's employees.

So I go to make a new Apple ID, then go to my newly downloaded iCloud Control Panel for PC, and it says that this is a valid Apple ID but not an iCloud ID. I figured the only way to make an iCloud ID is to make an account on my iPod... BACK TO THE START! I can't because it gives me an error after I have created my account saying: "This device is no longer eligible for creating a free iCloud account"

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
Vista instructions in the following document: Check your hard disk for errors
Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

How fix error 2009 on iTunes for iPod touch 3G

Hello, I tried a several times restore the iPod but always appear this error message, I have the newest version of iTunes but problem continue. Somebody have any idea to restore this kind of issue?
After this error the iPod is flashing and appear the apple icon on screen. I need to use DFM mode turn off.

Error 2000-2009 (2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, and so on)
If you experience this issue on a Mac, disconnect third-party devices, hubs, spare cables, displays, reset the SMC, and then try to restore. If you're using a Windows computer, remove all USB devices and spare cables other than your keyboard, mouse, and the device, restart the computer, and try to restore. If that doesn't resolve the issue, try the USB issue-resolution steps listed for Error 1604 above. If the issue persists, it may be related to conflicting security software. If the errors persist on another computer and known-good USB cable, the device may need service.
The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
