IMEI invalid

Why my IMEI number showed invalid?

But now its saying invalid number.
There are ZERO legitimate sites that can tell you anything about your IMEI other than Apple or the carrier the phone is currently used with. If you entered an IMEI into a site that claims to be able to tell you about your phone you should be prepared to deal with identity theft.

  • IMEI invalid, why?

I type the correct IMEI number in nokiafreecharger.com but it says invalid. I have contacted to the live chat and confirm the IMEI is right. But do get the reply on why the IMEI is invalid, should I wait for 14 days since my purchase?

I am sure they will get to the bottom if it. Just have to give them a chance to figure it out first.

  • Free ePocrates Rx Pro offer from BlackBerry - I can't register my device!?!

I am a previous Palm user but now purchased a BlackBerry as my new device because of an offer for a free ePocrates Rx Pro (a medical software program) subscription with a new BlackBerry purchase.

However, I am unable to get the promised ePocrates subscription, because the registration website keeps giving me an error message of "First IMEI invalid" when I try to register my new, activated device - with the CORRECT IMEI number. There is notechnical support contact information listed anywhere.
According to the offer guidelines, I have to register within 14 days of the purchase, which will expire tomorrow as I have been trying unsuccesssfully to register for two weeks now.
Could somebody help me with this problem?
I hope that the BlackBerry offer was real!!!

    Hello there tamaddon,
It sound slike we need to troubleshoot no service to your phone here. We have a great article about troubleshooting what might be causing this, named iPhone: Troubleshooting No Service found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4429. The symptoms in the article are a bit different to what you are experiencing but the troubleshooting is valid.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Remove the SIM card and verify that it is a valid, carrier-manufactured SIM. Also verify that it is not damaged, worn, or modified. Then reinsert it.
Check for a carrier settings update. Tap Settings > General > About while connected to a Wi-Fi network. If an update is available, a prompt should appear soon. If Wi-Fi is not available, connect your device to iTunes.
Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
    Restore the iPhone.
If you're still experiencing No Service issues, contact your carrier to check for any network or account issues that could cause this issue.
    Take care,
    Sterling

  • Invalid IMEI Number

Hello, For some reason, i am getting an Invalid IMEI number when trying to register the phone on the sony website. any suggestions on how this could have happened? i have had the phone for about 3 months now and the way i got my imei number is by typing *#06# in the phone. Thank you for your time.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
It sounds like you have entered something else then digits or wrong number of digits. The IMEI should be 15 digits. Depending on phone and where you check the IMEI you may see more then 15 digits, in that case, only enter the first 15 digits.

  • Lumia 620 Invalid IMEI

I purchased a Lumia 620 from O2 nearly 2 weeks ago and I've been trying to claim the free shell case via the nokia620freeshell site and it keeps coming back with an error message stating the IMEI code is invalid - apparently I'm not the only one this is happening to.
I've also just tried to use Live Chat here on the support pages and when I type in the code there it also comes back with an invalid IMEI.
    Any ideas what's going on?

I had the same issue when trying to claim mine as I purchased it on the 31st of January. Yesterday they made changes to the site and I was able to claim.
If it's still failing for you don't contact O2 as advised above, call this number instead: 0843 320 9406 If you aren't happy with what that person says to you ask to speak to their supervisor instead which is what I dad and got a call back from someone in the UK. The number they called me from was 0191 477 5187.
    Good luck!

  • Invalid IMEI on my blackberry 8707v

    Hi,
My service provider vodafone is not allowing me to call or receive a call on to my blackberry 8707v. My mails are working fine.
They say my model has invalid IMEI no.  which is ***************.
In INDIA this problem is with other non blackberry phone which are made in china. Hence they are importing new IMEI no in to them. But there is no facility for importing IMEI into blackberry.
Kindly advice what is the best way to get out of this problem.

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
Sadly, your only path for resolving this remains with your carrier. Hopefully they will be willing to work with you and resolve it. But, there is no guarantee...and they are in complete control of the situation. I advise you work with them further and hope that they will be willing to help you out.
Good luck and let us know!

  • A808T Invalid IMEI

    Hi Folks,
I apologise because this is probably often asked, however I purchased a Lenovo A808T and a few days ago it arrived. When I started the phone, it worked fine but apps I removed would return upon restarting. I looked up on the internet and a couple of suggestions was to run a factory recovery which is what I did.
I followed the guide to the point, it was written in chinese and the phone restarted.
Upon restarting the handset came up with "Invalid IMEI".
I've tried everything I've found to fix the IMEI and I have contacted the seller who hasn't replied to my requests. Whilst searching since, it seems a common problem people experience but no matter what I try it doesn't resolve.
It does now state "Invalid IMEI - O2" since I followed one tutorial and checking it does seem to have a signal (which was always 0 before).
I've tried the terminal method, two different flashing IMEI apps and the unclemobile method via the engineer mode. Can anyone help me?
Perhaps I am doing something wrong.

  • Invalid IMEI P780

    Hello,
I have a Lenovo P780 for 10 month now and I love the phone. The only issue was that the 2G reception wasn't good it fail a lot.
I google it and found I thought a solution. But when I used the uncletools trying to install a recovery something went wrong and after reset the Phone entered a bootloop.
I went to NeedRom.com to donwload the Rom I had P780_ROW_S116_130828.
I used a new version of SP Flash Tool and I didn't notice that the option that was selected was Format+download.
I didn't make any backup of my previous Rom.
Now I have the phone working but the IMEI information is gone, so I can't do phone calls.
I went throught the forum I found a solution but it needs the phone in meta mode. When I do that and connect the phone to the PC windows is trying to install a driver CDC Serial but always unsuccessfuly.
Can any one help me with a diferente metod to put the IMEI information or the driver for Windows 7 Pro 64 bits or Windows XP Pro SP3?
Also I only have an IMEI code on the phone and in the box. Do I put the same code in SIM1 and SIM2?
    Phone: Lenovo P780
    Andoid: 4.2.1
    Build number: P780_ROW_S124_140403
    Thanks and regards to everyone
    Solved!

    Hi
Let's first try the the easiest way to restore the IMEI.
You have to be rooted to do this. You can root your device using the latest Vroot version.
Install THIS > give the app root rights and follow the instructions from HERE.
    A quick instructions recap :
Open --> Engineer Mode --> Engineer Mode (MTK) -->Connectivity Tab -->CDS Information -->Radio Information
    - select Phone 1
    - you can see AT+ at the top
    - type AT+EGMR=1,7,"xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"(your 15-digit FIRST IMEI)
    - press "SEND AT COMMAND"
    - reboot your phone
    For the second IMEI
    - select Phone 2
    - type AT+EGMR=1,10,"xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"(your 15-digit SECOND IMEI)
    - reboot your phone
    *#06# to check imei
The IMEI should also be written on the phone under the battery.....If you don't find the second you can use the same for both sim cards(generally dose't create problems).
If this method dosen't work I will show you haw to ''invent'' an IMEI back-up...and restore that.
Let me know how it goes

  • Why my iphone4 IMEI number is invalid?

my phone dont turn on without sim from my network, but my imei number is bad. what can i do?

What do you mean it's "bad"?
A missing IMEI number is a critical failure that can not be fixed. It's usually the result of attempting to hack or jailbreak the phone.

  • IPhone 4s WiFi not turning on, repair shop says they won't fix it (they've done it 4 times now), bought the iPhone second hand and the apple website says the serial is invalid.. What do I do?

First off, I've a 16gb unlocked white iPhone 4s. The discussion title kind of explains the entire situation. I can't get on to apple to get it repaired, because it says the serial code is a replacement and invalid - I bought the phone from DoneDeal.ie (an Irish Craigslist/eBay basically) and the guy I bought it from gave me the box with everything in it, phone, phone charger, warranty, apple care, everything. But then I looked closer and realised the apple care document was faked, and the warranty was also fake. I checked online with my IMEI code and the website said the warranty was well up, and that the phone was a replacement.
I was told the phone was brand new and that it was literally just out of the box but obviously that was a lie.. Anyway, approximately 3/4 months later, the WiFi broke - When I went in to to turn the wifi on in the settings menu, the wifi was greyed out and didn't have an option to be turned on. I've since got the wifi repaired for the 5th time as it constantly goes back to the greyed out option every month or so. The repair shop (not sure if it was apple official or anything, if I had to guess, I'd say it wasn't) said they could either give us back our money or repair it one last time but it's gone again and that's kinda the last straw, they said it was a generic problem they'd found on all iPhone 4s's and that basically, I'd just have to deal with it as apple are not very helpful with replacing these phones but obviously I'd like to give them a chance to prove that wrong though.
Anyway, seeing as I can't contact apple through the customer support section, any chance someone from apple can give me some feedback as to what my options are on this discussion?
I don't even need a replacement phone (although that would be ideal) but I definitetly need a repair that's going to work for more than a month..
Thanks to anyone who can help, but especially to anyone from apple!

If the repair shop was not apple certified repair shop then Apple will not replace/ or touch that device with a ten foot pole sadly. I'd follow Rudegar's advise and try anthoer repair shop as sadly it sounds like you got jipped by the original owner. Always verify your infomation through the company before you hand over the money!
