IMessage Activation: An error occurred during activation. Pls try again.
I have been trying to sign into iMessage and keep getting this message. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I can sign into FaceTime fine. Thank you!

1. Log in to EM
2. Click on Business Intelligence link on he left-hand side to expand it
3. Click on Coreapplication.
4. Click on the Capacity Management tab
5. Click Restart All

I continue to receive message that "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (4002). Please try again later." This has been happening every time iTunes Match runs in background. Any suggestions for a cure?

Hi All,
I had this problem today myself, and was frustrated repeatedly by the '4002' error.
I have literally just fixed the issue by doing the following steps:
1: Go to the 'Store' tab and select 'Turn Off iTunes Match'
2: Return to the 'Store' tab and select 'Update Genius'
3: Wait for this to complete succesfully, the return to the 'Store' tab once more and select 'Turn On iTunes Match'.
4: iTunes Match will now go through the motions and should succeed!

Airplay from ipad 1 gen to ATV 3 gen "an error occurred loading this content try again later"
Hi everyone!,
I just bought a new Apple tv 3 gen which is great.
My situation is the next. I have an add hoc wifi which obviously cant connect with my ATV cause ATV doesnt have browser to set user password. This connection is not quite fast, so problem added to the previous. The thing is that I want to use my ipad 1 gen to airplay content to the apple tv. It works great with pictures and even music (my own library or spotify streamed music).
The problem comes when I try to airplay video from youtube or embedded video from safari so it keeps saying "an error occurred loading this content try again later".
I tried with my iphone 6 and with an iphone 5 and the same, no video from youtube nor web.
If I try to airplay a video that is inside my phone, it works flawlessly.
the specs say that you need at least 6mb connection, but that seems to stream directly from the ATV cause ATV doesn't have hd to store data, but my ipad streams it and plays it like a charm, but when I airplay to the apple tv got the problem.
I also can stream video from my old mac mini through the network using airparrot but it doesn't allow me to send audio, seems to be problems sending audio and video while streaming..

thanks in an advance!Two problems seems to be causing this:
1- My poor download connection. Testing its speed barely reaches 1.5 download speed, though it's enough to stream movies with ipad, or computers.
2- the router I have connected to my antenna to create my own network. it is a normal 150 mbps tp-link range extender which is used to create a wifi. This 150 mbps might be much more than a half.
I have tried with a 300 mbps router and now I don´t get the error, but it seems that streaming with my ipad and airplay to the apple tv overloads the network and it loads quite slow in my atv. -
I watched the first 11 minutes of a movie, paused and then when I tried to play again recieved the error - An error occurred loading this content. try again later. No amount of retrying later fixed the problem. I will not be able to finish watching the movie within the required 24hour window so would like to request a refund. Can anyone provide any guidance on how I go about that? Thanks.

Receiving error of "an error occurred downloading content. Try again later. It's been doing that for a week but I'm able to watch other items such as YouTube etc

I noticed in my instance that it is HD content that is giving me the same problem, but Standard Definition (SD) content downloads and plays no problem.
Would this be the same with you? Have you been able to download a play an HD rented movie? -

When Streaming a movie or tv show it stops after a short time and does not finish downloading. We watch the TV show or movie than nothing !!!

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router.
Reset the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings)
Restore the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Restore) -
TS2972 An error occurred loading this content try again later
I get this error constantly while trying to watch content on my Apple TV. I have changed my Apple ID, reset to factory settings, rebooted my Mac, stood on my head and threatened the device with violence. Nothing allows me to watch content I have paid for. What is causing this? How long to wait until "later" is reached and I can try again? I have already expired one rental without watching it, so this is also costing me money. So Apple - how to fix? Does anyone have any suggestions what other voodoo I can use to fix this? If it helps, I have not changed anything in the past few days and I am operating the latest software. A clue may be that I can see the names if everything in the library, but I cannot see cover art.

I haven't been able to use Messages on the computer for several months. My Apple id works for Facetime, iTunes and iCloud on all my devices. iMessages works on my iPhone 4S. I just can't use in onmy computer. It used to work. Somewhere after an update of Mt Lion, it stopped. I'm on Mavericks now.

At the OS X 10.8.2 update the iMessages account in Messages needs your Serial Number to be on the logic/mother board.
If this has ever been replaced and the number not "flashed" to the new board then iMessages will not connect to the server.
Use the Apple Icon Menu and About this Mac.
In that window click twice on the line that states the current OS level
This will change to the build number (another way Apple counts the OS version) and then to the Serial Number.
If it is messing you will need to visit an Apple Store or an Apple Authorise Service Provider (AASP) and have the Serial Number installed.

Why have I been unable to log-in onto the Internet Radio,while continuing to have access to the other apps?
I was given these steps to follow when I had a similar problem:
1) Quit iTunes. 2) Follow the instructions for the appropriate operating system in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1597 3) After removing the SC Info folder, reopen iTunes. 4) Choose Check for Available Downloads from the Store menu. 5) If prompted, enter your account name and password, then click the Check button. 6) After the movie finishes downloading, choose Authorize Computer from the Store menu. 7) Enter your account name and password, then click the Authorize button. -

I have the same problem I use a BT home hub the old white one and a iPad 4 if I reboot the hub it works ok for pics and some I player content then when I try to load a certain program it crashes and I need to reboot the hub again. Is this a problem with the hub?

It seems a lot of people are having this problem...you can try restarting your device, making sure Date & Time settings are on automatic, or changing your DNS to 8.8.8.8. However, most people posting about this problem have tried everything including data resets, restores, etc. and it doesn't seem to work. It seems to be an issue on Apple's end with the servers...hopefully they can resolve it quickly

Facetime will not activate on my phone.
'error occured during activiation please try again' keeps popping up. I have tried creating a second apple user and id and the same message continues to pop up.
My kids and husband can all do facetime from our house, so that rules out the router.
