IMessage and Contacts Error?

Okay, so my iPod is up to date, using iOS 6.1.3
Today, I wanted to send a message to a friend of mine, but the name came up red and with an exclamation point. I checked my wi-fi which had all three bars lit up, and I was still able to connect to the internet. So I tried to contact another friend, but that name came up red too. I then tried to make a group chat and found that every contact I had came up red, therefore I am unable to send messages to anyone. I tried to replug my router and restart the internet, but the issue didn't get fixed. I've also tried restarting the iPod, turning off iMessage, and doing both (Turning the app off, then restarting, and turning it back on.) Nothing's worked so far, and my iPod is still like this.

Problems with iMessage and Contacts after changing Apple ID

I went in on my computer to change my primary e-mail for Apple and it prompted me to change my password. After I changed the e-mail and the password, my iMessage stopped working on my computer and my iPhone. On the computer, iMessage now works through my iCloud e-mail only. I really wish it would go back to working through my cell phone number. Additionally, now all my contacts have been deleted, on the computer and the iPhone. Is there any way I can get iMessage to work through my cell phoone number on my computer again and get my contacts back on either device?

Well did you change the apple id in imessage?
settings - message - add your new id and delete the old id.
Or turn off imessage and then back on to reactivate with your new id.

This from before the .Mac service may be just a "username"
The .Mac Service issued @mac.com names (These were later billed as iChat names and can still be obtained but are not emails)
MobileMe replaced the .Mac Service and issued @me.com names (and Valid emails)
At this changeover those with an .Mac account could like the @mac.com name to the @me.com one
As of 30th June 2012 all MobleMe accounts have stopped.
They have somewhat been "replaced" by iCloud Issued @me.com names
There are of course emails exteranl to Apple that have been registered as Apple IDs
In the Meantime try a Safe Boot
Once the computer has started up this way then restart the computer normally.

Macbook pro says "offline" in imessage and contacts on imessage are in red now

On my macbook pro I can't use imessage all of a sudden. The names are in red and it says offline. But the iphone and ipad are working fine. Please help.

You will have to take the computer to the Apple store to have the battery checked out and replaced if needed.

Apple id for kids not logging in to imessage and facetime

I created a new apple id for my child and added it to my family sharing.
I have used the apple id to successfully login to icloud and the itunes store on the ipod.
But it keeps rejecting the same account for imessage and facetime - error message is to check my network connection.
Has anyone got a solution for this?

I had similar problem, and tried everything mentioned in the forums to fix it. Then, randomly, I tried to send an imessage from my iphone to my daughter (who ONLY has imessage through her email, and therefore NO cellular option to receive) and Bingo- a box popped up asking me to sign in to my Apple account. Then it worked fine for everyone. I don't know why it didn't think I was signed in, because I had signed in everywhere- but that was the fix.

After 4 calls to apple and 8 and a half hours on the phone. The apple people does not how to solve the problem. The last thing they told me is that they will send the problem to their engineers and I will hear from them. unfortunately they have not contact me.
During the phone calls I tried putting the date and time in automatic, changing the username and password, I even tried using somebody elses username and password. Please help, facetime is my tool to telecomute, and it is hurting my job.

This problem is solved for me, with some help from the carriers. At last
Let me describe my situation once again.
I am from India, where the official iPhone carriers are Airtel and Aircel.
I have two prepaid connections - One from Airtel and one from Reliance GSM
Whenever I try to activate iMessage from my Reliace SIM, it shows activation unsuccessful, the the receive at shows my email ID only.
But whenever I try activate it using Airtel SIM, it activates just fine. But since my primary connection is the Reliance one, I wanted it to get activated for Reliance.
I have tried every tweaks/restore etc mentioned in this discussion, but nothing worked.
The solution:
This does not require any jailbreak/restore. Just a little help from the carrier.
For all reliance GSM customers in India, you can just try to activate in again. I think they have solved it for all customers.
I was almost lost hope of activating imeesage on Reliance. But then one of my friends bought a new iphone (4S). He had a docomo connection, and he also had this same issue. But using his contacts in docomo, he enabled some trace in his connection, and found out that the phone was trying to send SMS to a UK number (short code), which is blocked by their RA team.
This is that magic number : 00445773142076
So from him, I got the number. I raised a complaint with Reliance.
The complaint had nothing about imessage, but it said: "I am unable to send international SMS to the number 00445773142076, even after having sufficient balance and an active SMS plan"
So they have done some 'unblocking' and called me this morning and asked to try again 'sending sms to the same number' . I went to settings and activated imessage and facetime/ Thats it !!!!.
A big thanks to Reliance GSM support for the quick solution.
For anyone on Reliance GSM in India, just try activating it now.
For others, log a complaint with the carrier that "you want to send SMS to the number 00445773142076.

IMessage and FaceTime not working on Mac Pro and message stating to contact Support came on

iMessage and FaceTime not working on Mac Pro and a message stating to contact Support came on with a verification code. It was working on 8/29 but stopped on 8/30. When I called support to even speak with anyone they wanted $19. I don't want to pay $19 for an Apple problem. I cleared my key chain, also reset my apple ID password but still not working. Works fine on my iPhone.

There is no official public documentation of that error message as far as I know, but according to reports, it can mean (at least sometimes) that the same Apple ID is being used with the iTunes Store or one of the other Apple content stores, and the payment method is invalid. Sign in to the store and review your account. You do not, of course, have to provide any billing information to set up an account to use only with iMessage, as it's a free service.
Otherwise, do what the error message tells you to do. According to reports, you won't be charged for the call if you select "Apple ID" as the product you need support for, and cite the customer code in the alert as the "validation code" to the support representative.

So you have no cellular service but are on Wi-Fi yet iMessage and Facetime are waiting for activation.

Run report that show "BOTH" campaign name AND contact when getting integration error message that relates to Lead Campaign Association

When running an External Calls Failed report for Lead Campaign Association (e.g.Attempted to add a campaign member where either the member id 00Q70000015ngo5 or the campaign id null is null.), the report show me the contact but not the campaign the contact was trying to associate itself to in SFDC. In order to see the campaign, I have to click on the downward arrow and click on the "view external call details" FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL CONTACT.
Is there a report I can run that shows me both the campaign and contact for the error? I can't efficently trouble shoot issues in Eloqua if I have to view each individual record with two or more clicks.
Any advise?

I am getting the same error when opening the J2se Development Kit 5.0 Update 8 after I press the Run button. ( "This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and than you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package").
Is there a solution ?

Which is it? Is "it" incompatible or is the backup corrupt?
What specifically are you attempting and what specifically is occurring?

At the moment I can use my apple Id on my iPod touch to connect to iCloud and IMessage and FaceTime but it doesn't work on App Store. Face to an error: can not connect to iTunes Store. What's wrong? My apple Id is working on my MacBook Pro as well.
