Imessage doesn't connect

My Imessage doesn't connect at all

Hi,
For others the message says:-
Your Apple ID "[email protected]" can not be used to configure iMessage today.
According to Google Translate.
These are the most common variations of such error messages in English along with some "fixes".
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3970
Also if you jumped from Mountain Lion OS X 10.8.1 or Earlier to Mountain Lion then you may have the Serial Number issue.
At OX 10.8.2 and since the Messages App has used the Serial Number of the Mac to create an Auth Token  that is in the Keychain for the iMessages account.
if the Serial Number is not present on the Mother/Logic board then cannot be done.

    como lo soluciono?

I am having this issue too.  After doing all of the suggested ideas I found online, I am still stuck in "waiting for activiation" mode.  I live out of the country, and my cell phone is not connected to my carrier's network for the next month (so I really have a glorified ipod touch).
If anyone finds a fix, please pass this info along.
    I have already tried:
    resetting network settings
log in and out of iMessage/ Facetime
log in and out of iCloud
log in and out of iTunes on my phone
full restore mode on iTunes on my computer

My iMessage doesn't work on my iPad. My software is up to date, wifi is working, apple ID is working but the verification stops and goes back to sign on. Why does this happen?

Look at no. 5 in this text which was copied from Apple's support site for troubleshooting Messages and FaceTime activation.
    Troubleshooting Apple ID activation
After each step, toggle iMessage and FaceTime off and then on again in Settings > Messages and Settings > FaceTime.
Update to the latest version of iOS.
Ensure that you have an active Internet connection. You can complete activation using Wi-Fi or a cellular data connection. Check your Wi-Fi network using standard Wi-Fi network troubleshooting.
If you receive an error when signing in to your Apple ID, visit myinfo.apple.com, sign in to your account, and ensure that the primary email address has been verified.
Ensure that FaceTime has not been restricted: Settings > General > Restrictions > FaceTime.
In Settings > General > Date & Time, ensure that Set Automatically is on. If Set Automatically is on, but the incorrect time zone is displayed, turn Set Automatically off and then choose the correct time zone, date, and time. Then turn Set Automatically on again.
Enable iMessage and FaceTime while connected to another Wi-Fi network in a different location.
This is the support kb article.

    Hey,
since I've made the update to OS X 10.8.2 iMessage doesn't work.
Whenever I wanna log in it comes an error message: "the server announces an error to the processing of the request"
I've already called the Apple Support Team but they couldn't help me.
    Do you have any ideas?
    Thank you in advance.
    Marcel

I think something is up at apple.
I'm still not able to connect to iMessages via my MA. Although I have the correct password I tried to change it via iMessages which directs me to iforgot.apple.com. If I chose to change it via my email address I do not get an email with the corresponding link to do so. It is not in the spam either.

  • IPhone 5 doesn't connect to iTunes, although I just synchronized my iPhone 3.

I just bought an iPhone 5 and would like to sync with content from iPhone 3. When configurating the iPhone, I chose the option to connect to iTunes. However, it was impossible to click on File/ synchronize iPhone, as it was greyed out!
As I wanted to use it straight off, I had to chose the configuration option "use as new device" (or similar).
How do I sync with iTunes now? It still doesn't connect to my iTunes account.

I have an IPhone 4 that turns off on its own. When I plug the phone into an outlet, it says to connect to iTunes. When i connect my phone to itunes, the screen displays the apple icon and doesn't connect to iTunes.  I need to backup info on this phone so I can apply my back up to a new iPhone. Is there any another way i can do this? My older phone will not show it's connected to iTunes. I used iCloud on the phone with problems, but I didn't back up all the info thru iCloud. Is there another way to back up?

Sounds like your phone is in recovery mode.  In this case, all data on it is gone.  There's nothing to back up.

  • IMessage doesn't work all the time

    Hi,
I'm using iPhone4S and noticed that recently for the past week, iMessage doesn't work when I text my husband who's using iPhone4.
I tried switchin network (wifi and telco data) but both also doesn't work. Please advise why this is the case and how to fix it.
    SMS international is costly.
    Thanks.

Ask him to enable his email address to receive iMessages and do the same on yours. It's in Settings > Messages.

  • Help! My iMessage doesn't work on my new iPhone 5s, I've changed my sim twice, but iMessage only works with my Apple ID.

Recently got a new iPhone 5s and the iMessage doesn't work. I tried the sim in another phone and it didn't work either so I put a completely new sim in my iPhone and iMessage doesn't work. It will only work when I use my Apple ID for received messages. I don't know what to do. I have reset everything and it still doesn't work. My software is up to date. Please help!

    ACTIVATING FACETIME AND IMESSAGES
Activating Facetime and Imessages on your phone requires the ability to send SMS messages and depending upon where you are that might be an international SMS.  Check with your carrier to see if your plan supports sending of international SMS messages.  If you are having trouble activating Facetime or Imessages turn them both off on your device and reset the device (Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost)).  Wait for the device to restart and wait a minute and turn Facetime and imessage back on and wait for activation.  If that does not fix things read the following articles:

    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
