IMessage, iCloud and FaceTime not highlighted in iPhone5 Settings using IOS 6.1.4
On my iPhone, in 'Settings', iCloud and Facetime are not highlighted and cannot by used. In addition, within Messaging, iMessage appears to be on but is not highlighted and cannot be turned off or the addresses altered. I have added another iPhone to my Apple ID recently, but I am still within the maximum of 10 devices on one account (I have 3 computers, an iPad, and iPod and 4 iPhones). Any ideas?

Is it possible that you may have restrictions turned on for any of these apps?

Everytime I attempt to use my Apple ID associated with iTunes with iMessage, iCloud, or Facetime, it tells me: 'Unable to verify email because it is already in use'. I've been playing around with it and find when I enter another email address other then the one associated with my iTunes account, it'll work. So it seems that my Apple ID will log me into the cloud (or whatever it may be), but I need another email address for the messages to be sent to? Perhaps somebody can clarify for me. I recently updated my ipad 3 to ios 6.0.1 and there are a **** lot of problems. My imessage and facetime wont activate - it keeps saying couldnt sign in check ur net connection. And safari sometimes says it couldnt open the sight because it couldnt connect to the server. My net is going perfectly fine but ios isnt. And then i wont get push notifications for any app, no matter wat i do. Ive restored it twice, but nothings working watsoever. If anyone has any idea how i can sign in to imsg, facetime and icloud or get my notifications to come plzzz do tell me i cant find a solution anywhere!!!!!!!!
And apple u really need to fix these problems in the next update!!!!

i think i know whats wrong. one thing you could do is: try holding the home butoon and the power button together and shut down the ipad. you have to press both of them together!!! then to switch it back on, do the same thing again. it should start up. if it still doesnt work, you could try going to setttings, then "notifications" and turn on notifications for the apps you want. About safari, if it doesnt work from step 1, you could go to wifi or cellular and just reconnect your ipad to the internet. -
Iphoto 9.6 is not sharing with Facebook,iMessage,iCloud and is not working for print orders
iphoto 9.6 on yosemite is deleting all of the pics from the former library, iphoto 9.6 can't share with Facebook despite that it is oke with the account. no sharing with iMessage and no sharing with iCloud possible the choices stay grey. also print orders are not possible it's stay also grey.

I had the same issue, email, iMessage, Facebook,etc.. plus print all greyed out. I went up to the File menu, clicked on the Switch to Library drop down. Since I only have one library it was already selected, hit choose and all of the functions work again. Seems the system wasn't acknowledging my original library once I updated to Yosemite or 9.6. Either way, it works now.
If that does not work here is another suggestion
Try repair permissions with Disk Utility.

IMessage and FaceTime not working on Mac Pro and message stating to contact Support came on
iMessage and FaceTime not working on Mac Pro and a message stating to contact Support came on with a verification code. It was working on 8/29 but stopped on 8/30. When I called support to even speak with anyone they wanted $19. I don't want to pay $19 for an Apple problem. I cleared my key chain, also reset my apple ID password but still not working. Works fine on my iPhone.
There is no official public documentation of that error message as far as I know, but according to reports, it can mean (at least sometimes) that the same Apple ID is being used with the iTunes Store or one of the other Apple content stores, and the payment method is invalid. Sign in to the store and review your account. You do not, of course, have to provide any billing information to set up an account to use only with iMessage, as it's a free service.
Otherwise, do what the error message tells you to do. According to reports, you won't be charged for the call if you select "Apple ID" as the product you need support for, and cite the customer code in the alert as the "validation code" to the support representative. -

SADLY not as i downloaded an upgrad to my original PAGES/
i have in the meantim had to open www.icloud. then from there import the file that i am working on and then check on ipad if it uploaded/ yes it did.
but what a waste of time as it doesn not save any changes done automatically back in the cloud....
i am now downloading the new LION and hope that it will fix the problem
i cant find any other way. I was lead to believe that you wrote, it saved automatically, on to the cloud, you then opened anohter device in anotother country even, and the new file was there, waiting, in its latest version.......
and the same magic was supposed to happen in reverse.

if i have to open a browser, go to www.icloud....why on earth did they not just leave us an icon to drop it in in that case?

Try going through the troubleshooting steps listed under "Troubleshooting on Microsoft Windows (Microsoft Outlook)" in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3999. In particular, make sure the iCloud Outlook add-in is active within Outlook.

After the last update of IOS5.1.1, all caledar entries are not saved on Icloud and thus not synced on all my Icloud devices, even though, spreadsheets are synced, photostream is working and contacts is syncing, only calendar items. Anybody has the same problem? Or a solution to this kind or problem?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings. -

i cannot get wi-fi on my iphone - says no wi-fi and is not highlighted despite wireless networks being availableHi, my iPhone 4S had a similar problem in February 2011, after several attempts to revive it, and nothing has worked, as I was traveling to the U.S. in May, and was still under warranty at no cost to me changed.
But now a year later the new phone looks similar to make a software upgrade problem. The WiFi only works to no more than 2 meters from the antenna WiFi, then away more disconnects, not a router problem as all other wireless devices will work fine as ever. What happened? my phone will have lost its antenna gain?. I live in Argentina there is no Apple Store here, I do not travel to the U.S., from what I saw on the website of apple change the phone for an equal (which will surely have the same problem) miss u $ s 200. I am really disillusioned with Iphone. I think it must have been damaged wifi antenna that receives wifi signal but low sensitivity or a lot, will this model of Iphone has a general problem with any batch of antennas?, because I happened on 2 different phones
