IMessage is saving the last message even if its deleted on my phone

I get a text on my phone and deleted it.  Later when i sign on to Imessage on my laptop, the last message that I deleted on my phone pops up in I message.  I can't figure out how to control this.  If I delete a message on my phone and then get a new text from that person, why is it remembering the deleted text first? How can I control Imessage to not remember deleted texts?

Yes, your iPad can still receive iMessages.

  • I want to print only the last message in a thread of messages

I have to keep hard copies of e mails.
The problem is that as a trhead gets added to it means the print outs get longer and longer and are of course repatative
Is there a setting that allows me to only print the most recent mail in a thread?

Have you tried to open the last message in a new window?
If that includes the messages you do not want to print, you could limit the printing to e.g. the first page (in the print dialog).

Use the same ID in Settings > Messages > Send & Receive on both devices and have people use that ID. Your iPhone number would be a good choice.

Now all is working properly again.

If you have a backup, you can restore the e-mails. Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J.  When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Library/Mail/V2.

  • TS1277 In The last Apple Itunes update it deleted the file MSVCR80.DLL, how do I get it back, i have followed all the instructions to remedy this lost file to no avail.

In the last Apple Itunes update it deleted the file Msvcr80.dll, how do get it back so I can download Itunes again?

Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?
If you still have the same error messages cropping up, then try the procedures from the following user tip:

Extract the photos from the phone to your computer like you would with any other digital camera.
PhotoStream is NOT permanent storage and iCloud photos is in beta, meaning it's not fully cooked yet and you may lose data stored in it.

  • While saving the records message is keeps on popping up

    hi all,
    i am using form6i.
i have a master detail form.
in the header part when i enter a value (which is having when-validate-trigger), after entering value if i press save then the message which i have written in the trigger will keep on poping up.
At the time of saving i have called the procedure which will navigate through the detail block to check for some validation.
but how can i avoid this poping up message? how can i make the when-validation-item to file before calling this procedure at the time of saving?
but this is happening when i enter value in the item and click some where in the form. this is happning only when i enter a data and tries to save it.
    Please advise me.
    Thanks..

    hi,
Every time you try to navigate out of your item, it will fail with the error message. yes, when i try to navigate out of item its failing with error message. that is ok. but after entering data in the item when i press save the procedure is firing after that w-v-i msg is keep on popping up.
So, don't try to navigate to the detail block when there is an error. how can i check at the time of saving is there any error. do i have to write w-v-i code at the time of saving(before calling the procedure)?
    Thanks..

Your MBP is actually a mid-2010, not a 2008. That's what the 6,2 model indicates. There's an issue with the graphics module on that machine. There was a program in place to replace the motherboard within 3 years of purchase, but you're probably outside of that. Some folks have supposedly gotten theirs changed outside of that period, so you can try.

What you can do to use it is download gfxstatus from http:gfx.io and force the graphics to Intel. That would affect your work with Final Cut, but at least you might be able to use the machine.

  • Keeping only the last ## messages on your computer.

I would like to free up some space on my HDD and since I rarely ever use mail.app to find old messages I would like to keep only the last 50 messages on my computer sort of like the iphone handles my mail and leave everything else on the server. I use IMAP so deleting everything but the newest 50 will delete everything on the server too.

    Hiya,
    1) on mac mail (mobile me) you can do that, by opening mail, choosing "preferences" from the finder/mail menu, then click on your mobile me account and choose "advanced" (third tab). there is a drop down menu "keep copies of messages for offline viewing"
And in "mailbox beahviours" (the second tab) at the there is a bottom tick box "store deleted messages on the server" which you can tick (it will, obviously, fill up your quota).
    2) With regular mail, such as virgin/blueyonder/etc or other pop3 accounts, the above features are not available, but in the "advanced" tab, there is a tickbox, which reads: "remove copy from server after retrieving the message";
if ticked, just UNtick and you can delete the messages safely from your computer (as your internet/ mail provider will still have them on their email platform). Note, that, again, your quota may state "full", so you need to, periodically, manually sign into your webmail to remove the superfluous messages.
    3) I do not think that there is a way to automate this, since the remote email platform is not part of your own machine/network, so it appears, it boils down to good old-fashioned housekeeping. Also, an automated services would delete messages regardless. Hope this helps
