IMessage logged in but not working

I recently had the logic board replaced on my early-2011 15" MacBook Pro due to video issues. While the machine was with Apple, I migrated my user to my wife's Mac and set up iCloud.
I got my own computer back and had to re-login to iCloud (possibly due to the hardware change on my computer).
I appear to have logged in successfully, but iMessage no longer works at all on my MacBook Pro. It shows iMessage being active, but every time that I try to send a message to an iMessage user, the send fails and I see the message, "XXXXX isn't registered with iMessage."
Users who I KNOW are on iMessage don't show as logged in, as in the screen cap below.
I've tried deleting any iChat/Message prefs in my Library --> Preferences. I've disabled and re-enabled iCloud on my Mac. I've disabled and re-enabled iMessage on the computer. I've also completely signed out of iCloud and iMessage respectively and set them up again from scratch - All to no avail.
Is there a fix for this? Is this a 10.10.3 bug?

My sister and I cannot see each other on our buddy lists even though we're both online and logged on. It worked before but she's recently upgraded to Leopard on an a slightly older model ibook(?) I believe it is, and I'm on a MacBook Pro. Is there a setting she or I need to change. ichat worked fine before but not sure if it's due to her upgrade, just thought we weren't online at the same time or not.

IMessage is activated but not working

hi, i have always had issues with imessage back when i first got my iphone in 2010. It had always been a simple error like i needed internet to activate or i needed to reset all my settings but then i upgraded to ios 7 and things got progressivly worse. My iMessage is activated and so is my FaceTime. I only have it set up to have my number enabled becuase when i enable sending to my appleID it will break. other people that have an iphone with iMessage enabled see that i have imessage and their texts to me automatically convert to imessages. however, i cant recieve these imessages or send them to anyone who has an iphone with imessage enabled. i have tried factory reseting it and reseting the network settings and hard reseting it but nothing works. Please help.

IMessage is on but not working

I recently lost my iphone 5 so I had to switch to an old 3G in the meantime. Basically, the imessage claims its on with both my current number and email. However, when I send messages to people with iphones and ios 5 or higher it is still sending as text (green).I've researched the issue and cannot find any explanations.
Also, I am not receiving imessages either. I tried on my friends phone to send to my new number and it went through as imessage (blue delivered) yet it never came through. This leads me to believe that the imessage is indeed on (otherwise it would have went through as text on his phone). I have countless friends with imessage and none of the messages come up blue when trying to send.
Im not sure what the issue could be. It would be one thing if the imessage wasnt activated on my phone, but it is. I've tried resetting the network settings, turn on/off imessage, etc. to no avail. If anyone has any idea what the issue could be, it would be greatly appreciated.

On your iPhone go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive.
Select your Apple ID at the top and at the menu window that appears, select Sign Out.
Follow this by signing back in with your Apple ID at the same location.

I understand all of this Meg; that is why I bought an Iphone; but never expected my phone not even give a at least a 24 or even 12 hours....I work 12 hour shifts and also would expect to have to charge each night but not twice a day or more. I am not always somewhere I can charge my phone.

My first thought is to make sure that you are actually logged in using the same AppleID on both devices. Many folks share one AppleID for their family's iTunes Store account yet use another personal AppleID to log into iMessage settings and iCloud settings.
To confirm that the AppleID and password you are using is correct I would suggest visiting http://icloud.com and attempting to login there. If you get in, then you know for sure that that is a valid AppleID/password pair.
If that still doesn't reveal the issue then I would try opening Notes app on both iPhones, and then typing your password out where it can be seen clearly. This may reveal if your are typing it differently due to iOS 8 changes in the shift key indicator, or possibly that a screen protector or case is causing your touches to not register the same on both devices.

ACTIVATING FACETIME AND IMESSAGES
Activating Facetime and Imessages on your phone requires the ability to send SMS messages and depending upon where you are that might be an international SMS. Check with your carrier to see if your plan supports sending of international SMS messages. If you are having trouble activating Facetime or Imessages turn them both off on your device and reset the device (Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost)). Wait for the device to restart and wait a minute and turn Facetime and imessage back on and wait for activation. If that does not fix things read the following articles:

my problem is this:-
At the moment calls are leaving on the first available channel of my h323 voice gateway PRI, I can apply this command to the interface fine but it makes no difference the b cannels are always being picked on a first come first served basis . I have also tried combination "isdn bchan-number-order decending" and "isdn bchan-number-order descending round-robin" but it makes no difference , the first b channel is always selected .
Any ideas , if you think its a bug can u identify the bug id as I cannot find it .

I can see that you use ascending , that why you hit 1st channel.You have to choose one of these commands ascending or descending
I have a question here , for your incoming calls which channel hits ?.FYI isdn bchan-number-order descending is enable by default , so if you need to change you have to type ascending. Can you just share incoming calls which channel hits?.This is because before you define your outgoing calls , you have to check your service provider channel used, and this to avoid error channel is not available.
Command

Purpose
Enables B channel selection for outgoing calls on a PRI interface (optional).

Be more specific on the problem you are facing so that the ppl here can help..
looks like your are trying to file to file scenario and the file is not generating at the target folder ...
then check the communication logs of the receiver adapter using RWB->CC logs..
post the error you have received there..

Could anyone please explain why this messge would appear on the dashboard

instead of
'username' logged in to Member Only Area secure zone
On this website, customers can only log on to a secure zone, and there is only one secure zone.

Thank you for your response.
There are only two places users could log in, and none have ZoneID=-1
I tested both options with one of my own (non admin account) login, and none produced the above message.

both ZoneID's are the same
What is weird though, only one specific user account is generating that message.
At this stage the user has not complained about not being able to access his/her data yet.
My only concern was that this could be a possible security risk.

After 4 calls to apple and 8 and a half hours on the phone. The apple people does not how to solve the problem. The last thing they told me is that they will send the problem to their engineers and I will hear from them. unfortunately they have not contact me.
