IMessage not verifying account
My son has an iPod touch running version 6.1.3 and he is unable to sign in to iMessage right now it accepts his Apple ID and password but it will not verify his account. It just returns to the home screen that shows his Apple ID password. Thoughts? Thanks peeps
Issue resolved when I changed his time/date settings from manual to auto....go figure!

IMessage not verifying the account

My account is working properly with my iPhone 3GS and iPad 2 at iMessage but we just bought a new iPhone 4 to my friend, then we created a new account for her. But now she can not use iMessage feature on phone, which it says "Verifying account..." which never became verifyed in fact the Apple ID is verifyed.
So any solutions for it to verify ID and start using iMessage?Issues with the activation of iMessage and Facetime have seen a number of possible solutions. You can go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You can also try going to Settings>iCloud>Documents and Data>OFF. The only remedy we were able to use for my daughter's phone was to restore the phone as new, activate iMessage and Facetime, then restore from the backup made just prior to the restore.

Can I get icloud on mac with 10.6.8 had it before and now its a not verified account.
How do I get my icloud running again? I think its sort of running but on all devices it says account not verified!

You can't use iCloud with 10.6.8, you need at least 10.7.2. -

Well I have had my iPod since Christmas 2012 and I try and try to verify my FaceTime and iMessage but they don't verify so I can't talk to my friends or video chat them how could I get help?

IPhone 5 unable to verify account information
I use iCal for my calendar. I have an iMac and Ipad2 which both connect to the server just fine. My new iPhone 5 (which has the same user name, server information and password) as my iPad2 will not verify account information. I have added the optional domain name, turned push on and off and on again. Turned SSL off and on. Any other ideas?
I was able to use the actual numerical server address (173.197.xx.xx) on the iphone and the remote.server.org address on the ipad - looks like everything is communicating now. Don't know why both devices are not able to use the same account information.

My Apple ID is showing verified on the website but on the iPad shows as account not verified. It says to check email with instructions but I don't have an email showing these instructions. Any ideas?
I did that but when I go into Settings - iCloud - to turn off the Find my IPhone option, it still asks for the old email address password. Any ideas?

If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.

can not verify apple id. The email on my itunes account is no longer good.
You can change it. At the top of iTunes, click Store > View My Account, log in with your password, View Account. To the right of your Apple ID click the word Edit, and it will take you to a page where you can edit your email address.
You are right to avoid creating a new account if at all possible, since having multiple accounts usually causes complications down the line. -
When I initially try to sign in to iCloud, I get the "Account not verified" screen and I am told to check my email for instructions to verify. No email is ever sent. My ID and password work on all other Apple app's. Why not for iCloud?
I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. I updated to iOS 8 on iPhone 5s and now iMessage will not verify my email address to use to send/ receive messages. It has said "Verifyng" beside it in settings since yesterday, but has not sent a verification email. I have also tried Adding it as a new email address several times, but get the same outcome. I can still send/ receive texts from my phone number, just not from the email address.
In my iCloud settings under Contact Information for that email address and it shows "pending". When I select "Resend Verification Email" I get "Cannot Connect to iCloud".Hello, Dorian071.

My icloud account is not verifying it says check my mail witch I have done and I get a message say your iPhone for has been used to set up and Icloud account but still can not use the icloud can anybody help me.
Be sure you are checking the email account that you used to set up the Apple ID you used to create the iCloud account. Also, be sure to check your spam/junk folder as well as your inbox. The email you should receive looks like the image below. When you get it, click the Verify Now link.
If it still isn't there, try going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right look for a link to resend the verification email. -
My IPad is stuck on Verifying. I'm on the Settings page and there is a box that says Account not Verified. At the bottom is something in red asking me if I want Delete Account? It's been stuck for an hour. I tried turning my IPad off, but when I go back on and into Settings it's still there. Does anyone know how to get out of this? Thank you.
To do a reboot, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
