IMessage not verifying the account

Hi there;
My account is working properly with my iPhone 3GS and iPad 2 at iMessage but we just bought a new iPhone 4 to my friend, then we created a new account for her. But now she can not use iMessage feature on phone, which it says "Verifying account..." which never became verifyed in fact the Apple ID is verifyed.
So any solutions for it to verify ID and start using iMessage?

Issues with the activation of iMessage and Facetime have seen a number of possible solutions. You can go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You can also try going to Settings>iCloud>Documents and Data>OFF. The only remedy we were able to use for my daughter's phone was to restore the phone as new, activate iMessage and Facetime, then restore from the backup made just prior to the restore.

Issue resolved when I changed his time/date settings from manual to auto....go figure!

If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.

FYI: Some third party software can cause issues with the App Store > Mac App Store: Sign in sheet does not appear, or does not accept typed text

If i change to an old address it works fine but all my apple equipment uses a current googlemail address and dont want numerous ids
My itunes account/icloud account only shows this address, albeit on icloud its not verified
My husbands accounts dont have this address anywhere

All...sorted so thought i owed it to you all to update...
As suggested on numerous sites it was in my spam folder....but because i am using googlemail it was in the Googlemail Spam on my phone and online google account, the spam wasnt getting to my outlook account (where i was looking for it!!!)
As soon as i opened it there they were all 38 verification emails !!!!!

Now I want to registe rwith that mail , but a message appears "this email is already in use" or sth like that. Please advise how to delete that account ( if exists) or to make new registration with my email address?

Just because and Apple ID email is not verified does not mean the account is not created. (usable may be another matter)
Are you trying to Login here with the Manage option.
This will take you to the Apple ID page and tell you if there is an Verified Email as the Apple ID and whether there is a recovery email in use.
There is a menu on the left to sort any Recovery email and set Security Questions.
You are most likely to need to verify the Apple ID you were trying to create.

Getting Error message ""This set top box does not match the account settings"

Just ordered a new wireless receiver for the bedroom. Installed it and now getting the following error "This set top box does not match the account settings". Service was suppose to be enabled on Monday the 4th, but I recieved the hardware early and turned it on. I've since rebooted and unplugged and tried everything to no avail. Any thoughts on how I might get this to work? Regards, Rick

your wireless receiver is misconfigured (dirty) and need to be scrubbed clean.
A tech (service visit) or tier 2 rep (phone or chat) can do this. The receiver needs to be unplugged, on the bottom of receiver is a GUI (long number) that will be needed to identify receiver, when instructed plug just the receiver in that gave number for, when that one is connected.
Your choice 4 hour appointment window, or time on phone , or chat.
If these have not been activated yet.... When screen comes up, depress OK on receiver, depress button on WAP, when the screen at receiver says try again, Depress OK button (remote or on stb) another screen for update, depress OK give about 10 minutes to load, reboot when checking depress menu to verify recordings, if no recordings menu not finished booting.

When I try to use FaceTime on my Macbook Air, I try to verify the email I want people to call me with, and it says verified, but soon an message comes up that says "Could not verify the email address. Please check your network connection and try again."

So our school lets us use Macbook Airs for the school year, and it has facetime on it. I know facetime isn't blocked because like everyone else is using it. So I decide to give it a try. I click the icon, it says enter your apple ID. I dont have one, so I click to make one, and do so. I then enter my apple ID and click next. The screen reads "People will call you using your email address. What email address would you like to use?" I enter my email address in the box below the message, and then go to my email and click the link, and sign in, thus verifying the email. I go back to the facetime window, and click next. At the top it says Verified, but when I click next it doesn't go on to the next step, it simply blacks out the next button so that I can not click it, and after a few minutes a message comes up that says "Could not verify the email address. Please check your network connection and try again."
So that is the issue, please help!!!!!
*Note-I repeat that I know it is not blocked by the school because everyone else uses it just fine.*

Since you are using one of the the school's Macbooks, it is quite possible that the time and date are not properly set on the computer that you are using. FaceTime will not work if you do not have the proper time zone set up for the location that you are in. This past week, there were a two other Macbook users I've helped by simply telling them to set the Date/Time properly. By the way, you described your problem very well, which makes it easier for us to help you. Hope this solves your problem -- if not, post back and I can suggest other remedies.

I have the same problem. FaceTime works fine on my iMac but when trying to use FaceTime on my Macbook Air, I have the same issue you describe.

i have a problem with the firewall-service on a Windows 2008 Std SP2. The firewall service does not start. Access denied problem. I can see that on some registry-keys the permissions for the "NT Service\MpsSvc" account are missing.
I found some similar threads, and
here is decripted what to do.
But if i try to add the permissions for "NT Service\MpsSvc" the server does not find this account - so, i cannot add it to the registry key.
What i have to do that i can select this account ?

But the problem is, that i can not ADD the account to the registry keys. The account "NT Service\MpsSvc" is not resolved when i try to add the permissions.

While adding permissions and resolving for account name, in location select "local machine" instead of domain. MpsSvc is local machine account !

Credit From AdvCollection does not do the Accounting from AutoAccounting

We are using AutoInvoice to import invoices from legacy system.
During the import we have the AutoAccounting set to derive the gl accounts
from the Transaction Type (which is set to a Suspense account
so that the invoices do not post to the GL again as they have already been posted on legacy system).
After the imports the invoices, we are chaning the AutoAccounting to derive the gl accounts using the
Inventory Item.
We have the profile option, AR: Use Invoice Accounting For Credit Memos set to NO.
Tried setting this profile option both at the SITE level and application (RECEIVABLES and COLLECTION) level to NO.
We create a credit memo in Advanced Collections which works fine.
The problem is that the credit memo is not deriving the accounting from AutoAccounting, it is deriving from the invoice.
Note : A manual credit created from Receivable is using the accounting from auto accounting. Only when the credit is created from collection it is not using the auto accouting rules.
How do we make the credits created from Advanced Collection use the accounting from AutoAccounting and not from the INVOICE.
