Imessage not working on iPad since iOS 7

Very frustrated.
Since the ios7 update my imessage and facetime on my ipad are not working, iphone is fine.
I have reset ipad , i have forgot device on wifi and reset it. Ive read all advice here and nothing works. It tells me to check my connection.
Im using my apple account ive always used im using the wifi i use on my phone , ive checked all my passwords etc etc etc
Now im just frustrated as dont know what else to do... Please help.

Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.

IMessage not working on iPad after iOS 7 u/g

I know this is on all the forums - somewhere, but my iPad has been stuffed as far as iMessage is concerned since iOS 7 was installed. It receives OK, but when you try to send, the send ribbon gets to around the 80% mark and it stops. Nothing I do has made any difference. Reset all the cloud setting, verified my connection, but nothing.

Ok, so it's a known bug affecting a common function of Apple devices, right? Why the **** wasn't it checked before the release? And what the heck is taking so long? iOS 7 has been out a month now!

TS4268 iMessage not working on iPad and iPod after IOS7 update.

My iMessage is not working on both my iPad and iPod. I have done everything the apple website has said to do and I don't have the options suggested. They just simply will not send. Can someone please help me fix it?
My iPad is updated to IOS 7.0.2 and my iPod is IOS 6.1.2.

Yes, I've tried everything, logged in and out of everything, re-synced the ipad....settings ar ethe same on both devices but the ipad does not message and the phone does.
From what I have read I'm not the only one with this issue since the iOS7 upgrade.

IMessage not working after updating to IOS 6.1

I just updated to IOS 6.1 on my iPad (version 3). When the iPad rebooted it was not connected to the internet - I connect through bluetooth with my iphone as a hotspot. I proceeded past that point without a connection. Now my iMessage does not work. It gets caught up when the bar indicates the message is almost sent. Then the red ! appears and the message is not delivered.
What do I need to do to get this working again?

I think I have fixed the problem. I tried resetting, etc. I also tried turning off iMessage and then reactivating. it would work for a short time and then lose it.
I noticed that I could not iMessage to my personal email address, which is set up in iCloud. When I tried, the Send button stayed grayed out.
So I edited my contact record, changing the order of two email addresses in the contact record. I had an email address custom labeled iPhone email, and that one was first in my contact record. I changed the order first, making my home (primary) email address the first email in the record. Then, I reentered my phone email address as the last email in the record, and relabeled the phone email address label to read phone emai. Voila! I got a lovely blue talk bubble next to my home/personal email address (the one that is set up with iMessage). Morevoer, I could then direct an iMessage to it. It now syncs my conversations on all devices (iMac, iPhone, iPad 2).
FWIW, iPad is still running iOS 6.0, but if this fix holds, I will update that later today.

IMessage not working on ipad after updating to7.1

Since this past Wednesday (after updating to ios 7.1) neither of my kid's ipad 2s can use imessage to text either mine or my wife's iphones.
What can I do to fix this?
We can even connect to the imessage network with the ipads.
Keeps saying "check connection & try again"

IMessage not working on iPad when tethering

Ever since I upgraded to ios 6.1.3 I can no longer send or receive iMessages on my ipad when tethering from my iPhone, is anyone else having this same issue? This is annoying.

Facetime and imessage not working after updating to ios 7

Facetime and imessage is not working at my 4s phone but on my ipad mini and iphone4 it is. What do i need to do? I have reset and sign out my account but still i cant activate it.

backup the device with itunes.
Restore the device with itunes and set up as new.
Sign into the facetime and imessage to activate it.
After that is done and activation is good.
Restore from the backup.
Then make sure to sign into facetime and imessage again and you should be good to go

Siri is not working for dictation since ios 8.2 update.

Since updating to iOS 8 .2, I am having trouble using Siri for dictation in fillable form fields. It works great on a blank field but if I reenter the field and try to enter more text Siri does not work. This was not a problem in any of the previous iOS versions including 8.0 and 8.1. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Since updating to iOS 8.2 I can not use Siri to enter text into a text field on a fillable form. It works until I re-enter a field that already has text in it. Thank you for any help you can provide me.

Imessages not working by iPad Air

I can't send imessages by iPad Air iOS 7.0.4 , I continue to receive the message "not delivered " ( I have enabled messages . )
One year ago , I used to send imessage by iPad 3 normally no problem.

Imessage not working between ipad and iphone user all of the sudden.

My cousin has an iphone and I have an ipad. For months we have been using imessage daily successfully. All of the sudden, now we can't. We keep getting undeliverable when we message each other in our conversation that we have had for months. But, we can both successfully imessage with other people. It is so weird. Any ideas? IMessage not working on ipad send button not highlighted

Imessaging worked on Ipad before last update. Tried turning on and off, tried resetting, I type message and send button not highlighted

1. Messages on the iPad can only be sent to other iDevices
2. They must also be registered with iMessage
Note: The two above conditions must be met.

IMessage & FaceTime Not Working on iPad after iOS 6.0.1 update?

I have an iPad 16GB 3rd Generation and whenever I try to sign in with my Apple ID to Messages and FaceTime it pops up with "Could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again." I have tried so many things for this including resetting my network settings and creating a new Apple ID but my wifi connection works perfectly fine on safari etc but not on iMessage and FaceTime. Please Help?

Tried that already. It doesn't work.
The problem isn't that the app is frozen, it just blinks, then closes when you attempt to launch it.
Thank you for the suggestion, though. I appreciate your willingness to help.
I may try restoring my iPad tomorrow.

Facetime and imessage not working on ipad

I updated to ios 7.0.2 and now my iPad iMessage and Facetime isn't working. Also, my iPad used to sync with my iPhone and the iPad phone number would show up in my iPhone. Now that's not happening either since the update. I reset the ipad, started over from scratch and set up from the beginning but nothing...
I have also watched YouTube video and follow the set up instructions but still no iMessage and Face Time.

Try Reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings will be reset.
