IMessage not working on iPad

In the house we have 3 iPhones and I have a iPad 2 they all share the same iTunes acct. and we have wi-fi at home. I cannot send iMessage from my iPad to my daughters iPhone in the other room? My iPad is wi-fi only.

Sounds like a glitch when using your iPad, and things need to be smoothed out.
When you setup iMessage on the iPhone and use to send a text, first time iMessage works out your cell number automatically and is registered and the number can then be used on iPad's. It's possible then that iMessage hasn't registered the cell number (a Glitch?), nevertheless an e-mail should be received from Apple when it's registered.
Back on the iPhone, iMessage will then be the priority over SMS and the send button is blue. If the send button is green then it is a SMS message and SMS will be used if the number is not registered with iMessage.

Very frustrated.
Since the ios7 update my imessage and facetime on my ipad are not working, iphone is fine.
I have reset ipad , i have forgot device on wifi and reset it. Ive read all advice here and nothing works. It tells me to check my connection.
Im using my apple account ive always used im using the wifi i use on my phone , ive checked all my passwords etc etc etc

Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.

TS4268 iMessage not working on iPad and iPod after IOS7 update.

My iMessage is not working on both my iPad and iPod. I have done everything the apple website has said to do and I don't have the options suggested. They just simply will not send. Can someone please help me fix it?
My iPad is updated to IOS 7.0.2 and my iPod is IOS 6.1.2.

Yes, I've tried everything, logged in and out of everything, re-synced the ipad....settings ar ethe same on both devices but the ipad does not message and the phone does.
From what I have read I'm not the only one with this issue since the iOS7 upgrade.

My cousin has an iphone and I have an ipad. For months we have been using imessage daily successfully. All of the sudden, now we can't. We keep getting undeliverable when we message each other in our conversation that we have had for months. But, we can both successfully imessage with other people. It is so weird. Any ideas? IMessage not working on ipad after updating to7.1

Since this past Wednesday (after updating to ios 7.1) neither of my kid's ipad 2s can use imessage to text either mine or my wife's iphones.
What can I do to fix this?
We can even connect to the imessage network with the ipads.
Keeps saying "check connection & try again"

Ever since I upgraded to ios 6.1.3 I can no longer send or receive iMessages on my ipad when tethering from my iPhone, is anyone else having this same issue? This is annoying.

Facetime and imessage not working on ipad

I updated to ios 7.0.2 and now my iPad iMessage and Facetime isn't working. Also, my iPad used to sync with my iPhone and the iPad phone number would show up in my iPhone. Now that's not happening either since the update. I reset the ipad, started over from scratch and set up from the beginning but nothing...
I have also watched YouTube video and follow the set up instructions but still no iMessage and Face Time.

Try Reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings will be reset.

FaceTime/iMessage not working on iPad mini!!

Apple ID is working to sign into App Store but not when I try to sign into iMessage or FaceTime. Worked fine until I traveled to another time zone. I've checked time and date settings, have a working Internet connection, and I've tried all of the troubleshooting advice on the website. Someone please help!! Error message reads: "iMessage activation: could not sign in. Please check your Internet connection and try again"

Try to reset your network settings (make note of the current settings to revert back to)
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
Afterwards, restore your settings manually and reconfigure your FaceTime and iMessage settings as well as all other network related settings.
There seems to some issues with iMessage/FaceTime when moving between timezones and setting the date/time manually to your specific area should usually clear it up (from what I've read). That being said (and if you've already tried the date/time trick), try to reset your network settings.

I can't send imessages by iPad Air iOS 7.0.4 , I continue to receive the message "not delivered " ( I have enabled messages . )
One year ago , I used to send imessage by iPad 3 normally no problem.

Imessage not working, both ipad and iphone

I've been using imessage for the last few weeks, and suddenly a few days ago i stopped being able to send texts as imessage. aswell, i stopped recieving messages that were sent to me using imessage (they just dissapear into cyberspace). this problem is not just on my iphone, but on my ipad too. im wondering if it has something to do with a problem with my apple id. i can still facetime from both devices.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

first, turn off Send As SMS. This will ensure that your iMessage will only get through as an iMessage over Wi-Fi and not as a regular SMS charged by your carrier.

Have the same issue with iPhone 4 once upgrade to IOS 6 !!! here I'm logging to the Blog with my apple ID, it still running well over my Mac.

IMessage not working on iPad 1, says sign in, I click that and then it says what email do you want to use. When I try to change it, or click next, or even wait a few seconds it goes back to the sign in screen.

It keeps happening :(

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

IMessage not working on iPad after iOS 7 u/g

I know this is on all the forums - somewhere, but my iPad has been stuffed as far as iMessage is concerned since iOS 7 was installed. It receives OK, but when you try to send, the send ribbon gets to around the 80% mark and it stops. Nothing I do has made any difference. Reset all the cloud setting, verified my connection, but nothing.

Ok, so it's a known bug affecting a common function of Apple devices, right? Why the **** wasn't it checked before the release? And what the heck is taking so long? iOS 7 has been out a month now!
