IMessage sent through iCloud email

I recently restored my phone to an earlier state from a few hours ago. After doing so, I sent an imessage to a friend; however the imessage didn't go through and kept saying "sending". I double tapped it and hit "send as text message" and it went through. However, after setting up my imessage setting on my iPhone and Mac, that one friend has been receiving imessages through my iCloud email. But all my settings for receiving/sending imessage's and facetime are to my phone number. The weird thing is, everyone else is receiving my imessage through my phone number, but only this one friend is receiving them through my iCloud and when they try to text my number it goes through as a SMS text message.
Does anyone know a solution for this? I have tried turning on/off my phone after I signed out of imessage and the app store.

I bought a T-Mobile iPhone a month ago and it was already activated when I got shipped to me. I didn't have to actiavte it.
Any T-Monile sim will show the T-Mobile logo when inserted and will show the signal bars . This is so you can use the T-Mobile data signal to activate if you have no WiFi, especially useful for iPads.

Try settings -- messages -- send & recieve and see if your email and phone number are in there and if there is only a check mark next to your email address. If so just check off your phone number and try that.

sms's are charged by the sms internet data is charged by megabyte
so apple make their message system so sms's sendt while connected to the internet were
sendt by email to the contact rather then by the more expensive sms option

IMessages sent from icloud address/phone number=2 conversations!

This is a long-standing issue that defies resolution. At times, my iphone or my wife's iphone will send iMessages from our iCloud addresses instead of our phone number. So if my wife sends an iMessage to me, I sometimes get a new message from "[email protected]". Although her name, email addresses and phone number are in my Contacts, this new conversation shows up as her email address. We used to think it was because she travels abroad and uses wi-fi in her hotel that caused the phone to use an email address rather than her number because she was out of the UK. Not so! Here's what happened today: My wife sent me and our 2 children iMessages from London Heathrow to us three at home. My message came through as from her email address, my daughter's also came through from her email address, but my son, a few yards down the hallway got his from her phone number.
This is a typical scenario which can work the other way round when it's ME sending her the iMessages where she gets my message as though I'd sent it from my email address rather than the phone number.
I have been through all the hoops I know of to sort this but I just can't fix it. I don't know whether it's the iPhone, iCloud or what that's at fault. But it is driving me mad.
In this morning's case, I replied to her message by using an older (yesterday's) conversation to send my iMessage to her, and her reply to that came to me via her phone number, as expected, and good as gold. Had I just replied to her iMessage, it would have perpetuated the TWO conversations. I have tried logging out and back in, deleting the accounts and reinstating them, re-entering the settings, making sure that the "Start new conversations from..." is set up correctly and so on. Then after a while, it returns, randomly, to sending texts from the email and starts a new conversation again. And you can't combine the 2 conversations even when you go to Details-Add to existing contact etc.
I have also just been informed by a supplier that my iMessages to him are showing up as my email address not my phone number, despite my iphone being set to 'Start conversations from +44777...etc"
Please throw out suggestions as you wish and I'll be grateful, even if it's one I've already tried and failed with.
This icloud is a nightmare.

Why can't I print pictures sent through yahoo email.

I have received pictures of family members through yahoo email but can't print them out. When I try, It it shows as symbles that are un recognizable. I would love to know how to get my pictures to print. When I locate my picture on the computer, It shows as a firefox logo and won't open up as the picture I saved.

There have been many reports of problems with photos in texts/iMessages lately on this board and I'm wondering if this is related. Some people are unable to send and some are unable to receive. I don't know of a fix or what the problem is, but it just may be a matter of waiting until the problem is fixed on the other end. Sorry...

I use iCloud for my personal email. I have a .mac account and it works well. At work, my company email is set up on my Mac and iOS devices, and all incoming email is received on all of them. But my outgoing business email is only stored on the device from which I wrote it. How can I change my setup so that I can access all my sent business email on all devices?
My company email is an IMAP account and is set to use port 993 for outgoing mail. (not that I actually know if this matters, or what I'm even talking about...)

No, as I mentioned, my business mail is not an iCloud account. However, I have added the account to my iCloud-enabled devices (iPhone and iPad), and I receive incoming mail on them all. I am looking for a way to see my outgoing, non-iCloud business email on all devices, not just on the device I used to write the email.

Viewing a video message through iCloud email

I Have just recently started using iCloud and I have a new situation. I received an email that says "you have received a video/photo message from xxx-xxx-xxxx." (Real ph number is listed in the email) There is no attachment in the actual email, yet it shows an attachment when listed in my inbox. Any ideas on how to extract the original attachment?

Assuming by a little box you mean an icon and not a moving picture? If so, main menu of iPod, Video, Video Settings, TV Out then set that last one to OFF.

My audio is really slow and distorted whenever I try and play a video sent through an emails

The audio of any video Link in my emails that I receive,when clicked on to play it, the vocals are very slow and distorted. It sounds like the monotone sound of vocals being distorted to make it unrecognizable. It has been this way ever since I downloaded and installed it.

Currently there is no Flash support for Firefox on Android. Fret not though, there are mobile developers working on front-end Flash support currently and if all follows through you will see Flash support in the near future in a future release of Firefox Aurora.

IMessage coming through as emails

Everytime I use iMessage since I've downloaded the new operating system it is sending iMessages from email and not allowing me to send iMessages from my phone number? If anyone has any ideas why this is and how I can change it the I'd greatly appreciate it. I've already tried going to settings>message settings and changing it from email to my number but my number is appearing in grey and won't allow me to select it!

Tracking emails sent through SAP using Outlook Integration

Hello experts,
I have a question regarding Outlook Integration.
Can emails through SAP be tracked using SAP?
The customer is using Outlook Integration. When an email (containing an invoice for example) is sent through, the email is stored in the users sent folder in Outlook.
Is there a way that SAP can track all sent emails through SAP through an activity or some other feature?

Forgot icloud password. After resetting, password recovery email is sent to icloud mail.

I have recently bought an iphone 4s, and created an icloud account. And when you create an icloud account, it is used for icloud emas as well right? So what happened is that, i forgot my password for icloud account, and after resetting it, password recovery email is sent to icloud email. But i cant access it because its the same account as my icloud email. I dont want to lose my account. Please help.

Why does iMessage sometimes go through my email address

Sometimes my iMessages go through my email and I'm not sure why?

Something similar happened to me also when I got an iPhone using the same Apple ID as my iPad. Here is what I did.
I added myself as a contact on my phone with my phone number as well -- the phone recognized that and the msgs to the iPad stopped as the e-mail wasn't associated with that...
