IMessage stopped working with non-iphone users suddenly

I was able to text message from iMessage with non-iPhone users after the last update and now I suddenly can't. The phone numbers are in read and the messages won't go through. What happened?

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

My imessage used to work with anyone who text me. Then it stopped working after I updated my software on my iphone. I have got imessage working for iphone users but not non-iphone users. If they don't have an iphone, I can no longer send or receive their messages on my imac desktop. Can anyone help me?

My bad, It was a Verizon problem. When they upgraded my phone they were supposed to remove all blocks on messaging . Found out they did not do this. All messaging now works. Thanks for listening.

Sounds like you inadvertently have the Add Anchor Point tool active. Click and hold to get the full selection and choose the "regular" Pen tool at the top. (Or, just tap the P key.)

Problem with Text Messaging on new iphone with non iphone users

Ever since I set up imessage forwarding to be able to send/receive text messages on both my mac book pro and iphone people with non iphones are not getting my text messages from either device.
In my settings - messages - text message forwarding it only has one device enabled which is my mac book pro. There is an option to enable my iphone. Do I need to do that? I did try and it's asking me for a code. If i do need to do this where on my phone do i get this code? Thank you.

IMessage not working with another iPhone

Here's the scoop; I have an iPhone.
My boyfriend used to have an iPhone. iMessage wasn't a problem at all.
A few months ago, my boyfriend switched to android and obviously iMessage was no longer compatible. I had the same issue that everyone gets when their friend or even themselves switch over to an android from iPhone when it comes to iMessaging.. sometimes the messages won't send. I had that issue for a while until I finally figured it out. I messed around with my phone a little bit, I turned off iMessage, I changed in his contact the "iphone" setting to "mobile" for his phone number. I turned off my phone and turned it back on. I did it all. That problem was resolved, after my iPhone was constantly sending his android iMessages. Solved, done, cool- I was content.
But now, my boyfriend switched back to his iPhone from an android. I figured our iMessaging would be no problem now, because lets be honest, us iPhone users all hate those green text bubbles. But everytime I text him now, I GET THE GREEN TEXT BUBBLES. Our iMessage isn't working. I looked up this question in multitude of ways: wording it differently, looking up different things, trying out some solutions people have come up with.
I don't want to hear these answers, because I've tried them all. More than once.
1. Resetting my Network Settings.
2. Making sure my Apple I.D is checked on the Send & Recieve screen.
3. In contacts, switching the "moble" to "iPhone" back on his contact.
4. Restarting my phone.
5. Turning on and off my iMessage.
6. Even turning on and off my SMS, just to see if it would work.
Nothing. All of it, nothing. I'm stumped. We haven't tried from his end to do more things like I did, yet. But he has done the following: #4 and #5.
Help and an answer would be nice.

I'd like to add that my iMessaging is only not working for him. I can send iMessages to everyone else, except him.

ITunes sync stopped working with my iPhone 5 and Outlook on Windows 7. Error states in part "because the sync server failed to sync the iphone"

I have an iPhone 5 running iOS 7.1.2. I am using iTunes version 11.2.2.3 on Windows 7. After updating to the new version of iTunes I am currently using, the snyc between my Outlook calendar and phone stopped working. I get the error "iTunes could not sync the calendars to the phone xxxxx because the sync server failed to sync the iphone" I followed the instructions here - Troubleshooting Sync Services on Windows with Microsoft Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, or Outlook 2010 - to no avail, with the exception of not re-installing Outlook. Not an option on my corporate computer. When I run the Sync test, it says it passes -

To resolve this issue, follow the steps in iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Unknown error containing '0xE' when connecting. If you have a Windows computer with an Intel® 5 series/3400 series chipset, you may need updates for your chipset drivers. Since upgrading TO iOS 8.3 FaceTime and iMessages stop working at me iPhone 4s.

I had this issue with my iPhone5 on Verizon. I just finished a call with Apple, here were the steps we took to correct the issue;
Connected phone to computer, opened iTunes
clicked on the phone icon in iTunes and selected Summary tab
selected Restore iPhone
When asked, selected set up as new, not from a backup. During this process iTunes found and downloaded new carrier settings
When this restore completed I had cell signal
then restored from a backup

Texting with non-iphone users

My Phone isnt sending or receiving texts to non-apple phones. My Bill is current, I can send and receive messages with iphone users and there are no issues with phone calls, regardless of phone type. Totally confused....

ITunes on XP stopped working with my iPhone

While syncing my iPhone (loading mp3s), iTunes suddenly loses contact with the iPhone with the message:
Attempting to copy to the disk WoodshediPhone failed. The disk could not be read from or written to
It is now impossible to sync iTunes with iPhone.
What do I do? I've already done a "repair", uninstall and reinstall.

If you deleted the phone from the car, did you delete the car from the phone? If not, make sure they are both deleted from the other, then put both devices in pairing/discover mode. See if they will pair after that.

Google Maps stopped working with recent iPhone update

Since updating my iPhone Google Maps has stopped working for me. When I try for driving directions I get a message that driving directions can not be received.
Anyone else? Any easy fix?

IMessages is no longer working with certain iPhone users/cell numbers

I have been using iMessages with several people that have iPhones and it has been working for over a year. but all of a sudden those numbers are no longer "registered" although they were in the past. what could have changed?

Maybe those users have imessage turned off or are in an area with a weak wifi or cellular data connection.
