Imessage won't active after ios 7 update
Have tried resetting network, signing out of itunes, resetting phone and nothing has worked. No problems or error message with update.
Try this before the genius appointment:
Plug your phone into the charger that came with it that plugs into your wall, then reset the phone by holding the power and the home buttons until it turns off. Then turn it back on and see how it works.

Ipod Touch(4G) won't sync after iOS 5 update
After I updated to iOS 5 my ipod could no longer sync with my iTunes. When plugged in it will appear on the left of iTunes but the sync button is grayed out and unpressible. I have tried restoring a backup on the ipod, resetting to factory settings, reinstalling iTunes, rebooting computer/ipod, and creating a new library. I have never had a problem like this before. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.I have the same problem and read where one person turned off ICloud. I do not have I Cloud activated so I went ahead and turned off WiFi. Now it is syncing.
It used to not get past Step 1 of Syncing and it would say "Fail to Sync" or something like that. -
Photo library won't open after iOS 5 update
I updated both my iPod Touch and iPhone 4 to the new iOS 5.0 right after it was released. I initially noticed that my library of photos would not fully sync to both products but I remedied that by manually clicking each photo album I have available via iTunes. Now I'm noticing that when I try to open my Photo Library in either the iPod or iPhone, it takes noticable time to do so. I have a little over 16,000 pictures on each one.
In addition, once i applied the updates, I found that certain album art from my iTunes music would not display on either the iPod or iPhone. However, the album art is showing inside iTunes. Incidentally, this seems to only affect albums that have duplicate songs from the same album.
Any thoughts or ideas ?Have you tried closing the Phot Booth app completelyand seeing if it works when you re-open it ? From the home screen (i.e. not with Photo Booth 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Photo Booth app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

Camera won't work after IOS 7 update
Ever since I updated to iOS 7 both cameras have stopped working,. I was reading up on it in a discussion and read a few promising steps to take to get my cams back working, from resets to backing up and restoring from backups after deleting all of my apps which can be deleted and suddenly my front camera works again
But still freezes up when I switch to the back camera . This seems to be directly caused by my updating to iOS 7
Can anyone tell me more about this problem, if it's common and what I can do

Camera Flash won't work after iOS 5 update
Okay so I had the iOS 5 beta from my friend who is a developer. My camera flash was working perfectly fine then. When I updated to the final version of iOS 5 I tried to use the flashlight and it wasn't working. I then tried taking a picture with flash on and it didn't work. It seems that the flash is completely not working. Any Suggestions?
Beta's are buggy, that's the point of the beta is to give it to people so they an file bugs.
Have you restored to the shipping iOS5 yet? Backup your data then update to iOS5 and perhaps it will be fixed. -
Verizon iPhone stuck at activation after IOS 5 update
I just attempted to update my Verizon iPhone 4 to IOS5 and it is now asking be to activate it. The phone itself says "no service" (despite being in an area that normally has very strong reception) and attempts to activate over wifi fail. This isn't a Verizon problem, as my phone is still listed as activated on their site since I never deactivated it. I have attempted a reset but that left me in the same situation. This problem occured at the restore step of the process.
Does anyone know of a solution to this problem? Or at least something else I can try? Any help would be greatly appreciated.You sould take it to a verizon store. It is verizons problem, because Apple has nothing to do with the activation process of your phone. Verizon is currently having issues with activating iPhone and iPads running IOS5 within the device itself. I was told by Verizon they are working to fix the issues they are having, but it could take some time. You are better off going to the local Verizon store and getting the phone reactivated there, but they could probably help you over the phone, just don't bother hitting the button for prepaid Verizon when you call, because they will not be able to activate your phone.

Mine either! It won't use my cellular or download with wifi! I also can't check my email, Internet is either slow or says server down, will not connect to icloud but will iTunes! And there is a few other things it's doing! NOT happy!

Ipod Touch 5th gen won't sync after iOS update
iPod Touch will not sync after iOS 7 update. It's stucked at "changes are being applied" and won't go past that point. Tried 5 times and got the same problem. I have the latest iTunes installed.
Any suggestions?Try a cold reboot of your phone / iPod. I.e. hold power + home button until it reboots.

I advised from the phone shop that I need to give it a factory restart and I made it. Now i have icloud activation lock and I have no idea when I create an icloud account. I donr remember any related email or password. I am completely losttt

Unfortunately, unless you know the Apple ID, there is absolutely nothing that can be done, you cannot use your mobile device. You may be able to find your Apple ID at Look up your old and forgotten Apple ID -

I Was wodnering of you ever had ths issue resolved. My wife's iPad 2 is havieng a similiar issue. The iPad receives only some emails -- they appear to be from people in her contacts-- but not emials from "strange" soucrces. No junk mail rules are set. And oddly enough it is a new iCloud email address.

Short of a reset to factory settings I've found making sure iMessaging is not left minimised helps. It doesn't seem to keep its connection. So, by closing after each use this helps. I've been doing this since I logged out of iMessaging at least 1/2 doz times and even changed my apple id pw as this had ceased to be recognised. I get fewer send failures now and don't have an inactive send button so much. Having said this its all a bit of a work around as iMessaging isn't behaving as it once did. If over time not resolved will do factory reset. All the best.

After ios 8 update ipad began to crash
after ios 8 update apps been crashing and ipad began rebooting by it self it use to do it when first updated to ios 7 until the bug fix update was sent out what to do
Similar problem too with iPad 2. After updating it just continues to search and won't connect to 3G (verizon). I spent 5 hours at the local apple store and they couldn't solve the problem. There was another person there too with the exact same problem with an iPad 2 and they couldn't fix it either.
After all of this time they had no solution except to buy a new iPad ....... unbelievable. The issue is not a coincidence and it is obviously due to the software update. Apple's arrogance to openly address and fix the issue is astounding. Very poor customer service for a company that is supposed to be so progressive.
