Imessage won't allow texts to galaxy s5

I bought a galaxy s5 a month ago and erased my old iPhone but I still cannot receive texts from other iphones. what else can I do?

Imessage won't send texts/pictures, but can receive if send them to myself

I can't find the answer to this:
I have imessage on my iphone4s, but i can't send pictures to other imessage users. If I send them as SMS/MMS to another user, through the carrier, it works fine. I have tried sending the pictures to myself through imessage and I can receive them well.
What I have tired:
Having my brothers iphone next to me and making sure imessage works (blue text), he won't receive some of my texts and pictures.
Turned off imessage and sent text (SMS) to my brother's iphone, he will recieve the message.
Disabled Imessage and restarted my phone, reinabled imessage, tried again NO LUCK
I sent text to myself on imessage, can receive and send, sent picture to myself on imessage, can send and recieve.
sent picture to myself from my brothers iphone using imessage, can receive.
My thoughts, seems like something got corrupted? Might have to restore my phone but wanted to see if anyone has had any better solutions.

I have the exact same issue! I have tried compeltely restoring my iphone, turning off and on imessage different itunes accounts etc etc NOTHING will work. I am on the latest 5.1 and no luck whatsoever! Any help would be aprreciated thanks.

Can you convert a pdf that won't allow text to be highlighted so you can do highlighting?

I have Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Standard. My monthly bank statement comes as a pdf. I would like to be able to highlight parts of it such as check and deposit amounts but, although the highlighting toolbar is available, when I select a tool such as the cross-out text tool and try to highlight an item, nothing happens. Is there a way to convert this apparently uneditable type of pdf to one that will allow highlighting?

You need an app that will perform that function. There are many apps that will do this, the most powerful being Adobe's Acrobat Pro, it's not inexpensive however that is what it is designed to do. If you want to just do some light annotations Preview (which you already have) will do this, however if you want to edit every aspect Acrobat Pro is tough to beat.
I would recommend using the Mac App store to begin shopping, you will probably find some middle ground app that will do what you need.

Since all the documents are held on iCloud and read from there by your Mac, obviously they will disappear from your Mac (but not the server) when you sign out. They will reappear (give them time) when you sign back in.

Facetime and IMessages won't allow me to sign in using apple ID

Everything is up to date, the password is correct, the wifi is strong and logged on. I cannot get either one of these to connect. I've even tried changing the DNS like others have suggested. I've already reset to factory settings and made a new ID. This is my daughter's ipod and the only way she has to keep in touch with her friends. Please help!

Illustrator CS3 Won't Allow Text Fill Color Changes

Hi All,
I have a copy of Illustrator CS3 and this weekend I was working on a new logo design. For some reason, Illustrator would not accept changes to the text fill color. It was stuck on black. I am stuck after searching for solutions online and working with the Appearance panel.
Has anyone else had this happen? Is there a fix?

Try changing the fill using the Appearance panel. With the Appearance panel you can stack fills and strokes, which often results in the text fill (available when text is highlighted) hidden behind a higher object.level fill.

IMessage won't allow me to message anyone

When I try to use iMessage on my MacBook, I cannot message anyone. I get the error message that "(phone number) is not registered with iMessage." I can iMessage the same person using my phone, but for some reason it will not work on my computer.
I have already tried the logout/re-login fix, and cleared my message folder. Phone and computer are signed into the same account & phone number. Any other fixes?

Didn't the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section of that article work for you? If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, only Apple itself can reset the questions.

Captions won't allow text editing

I've recorded a movie, but all of the text captions recorded
without text in them, it just says "type caption text here". When I
double click on the caption to add the text, the font size in the
caption is a weird number. When I try to change the font size, it
looks like I can, but then it just switches back again. When I save
my changes, the text in the caption doesn't change.
Does anyone know what would cause this? I've never had it
happen before, and I don't think I'm doing anything differently.
It's very strange.

thank you for your reply. Yes, I have created many other
captivate projects without this problem. But now I am working on a
different computer.
I've double checked everything you've suggested, it's saved
on a local drive, and it's 32 slides long. The problem happens with
all movies, regardless of recording mode, or recording options. Any
captions that are automatically recorded have this problem, as well
as any I try to insert. Oddly, though, text animations work fine --
it's just the captions.
To do a bit more troubleshooting, I've saved this file to a
disk and had someone else open it on their computer. On that
computer, the captions open up having text "mqz_cap_rtf" in them. I
can change the text here to be what I want it to be, and it works
fine.
So it's definately a problem just with the 1 computer. I've
uninstalled Captivate and re-installed it, and the same thing
happens. I guess a workaround is for me to use a different
computer, but of course that's a pretty big fuss. If there is
anything else you know of that might be able to fix this, that
would be lovely.

Remember if you have trouble with a software issue it is the software and not caused by the Mac you are using
Many users simply don't remember when you upgrade software you normally have to go to 3rd party web sites and update software as well.

Sounds like you have multiple Apple IDs, which causes a myriad of issues. Go here to straighten it out. Be forewarned that it's a pain.
