I suggest you first reset netowrk settings in your phone and if that does not work, reset the phone by holding the home and the power on button together some 10 or 15 seconds until the while apple appears, then wait for the phone to reset (you will not lose any data). if all of this does not help, perhaps you should have a word with your carrier to make sure there are no issues with your texting plan.

Make sure you have a good wifi or cellular data connection.
Also you can only imessage other apple products who have imessage on.

You can't sign in because there is nothing to sign in to. For PSE 10 the only sign in was to photoshop.com, which has been dead and gone for a year and half. Just skip the sign in. Reinstalling will not change this.

Have you tried to reboot your router? Unplug it, count to 30, plug it back in and let it reboot. Also you may want to go into your settings on your iPad and 'reset network settings'.
In case the update messed something up, letting the devices reboot sometimes helps.

I have installed the official FB app and accidentally hit Don't Allow when it initially asked me about the push notifications. Got it!!!! A re-install is NOT the answer. You need to turn on individual notifications under Settings > Facebook > Push Notifications, BUT (and this is a big and confusing BUT) you also need to turn on global push settings under Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendards > Fetch New Data (and change the Push slider to 'on'). This doesn't sound like it makes sense, but I guess that the push slider under 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars' is actually for ALL push notifications on iPhone, and not just Mail, Contacts and Calendar apps!

Are you burning with an internal SuperDrive, or an external burner?
If the disc won't play on your computer and "won't play on any other player either," that sounds like an overall bad disc, not just one that "won't play on my computer."

In a group I can receive iMessages, but only respond as a text. How can I fix this without deleting the thread?

I had been sending group imessages in a thread earlier in the day on my iPhone 5 and later when I got my iPhone 6 I received an iMessage in the thread and sent an iMessage back, but when the other person responded it showed up as received from unknown. Once that happened I can still receive iMessages from the other two people in the thread, but I can only send a text back. If I send an iMessage individually to each person everything is fine and as it's always been. It's just the when I send a message in the group. I've tried signing out of iMessage and turning off iMessage and restarting my iPhone. Nothing seems to work. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your answer. I'm working my way through the blog, and trying to take all of the steps. Hitman Pro did find 5 trojans, and many remnants of other malware, so hopefully that will help. I'll post again when I've finished trying everything else.
I had already run Malware Bytes, It did not find/remove the sweetim toolbar, but found a different trojan. Something is up with my antivirus I think.

Sounds like you are sharing an Apple ID. On both devices, go into Settings>Messages>Send and Receive and remove the checkmarks on everything but the phone number on each device. That will keep the messages separate.
