Imessages getting lost

I have 2 iPhone 4 on my AT&T account. And, it is only with these iPhones do I seem to have this issue. iMessages are not always received between the 2 phones and there is no notification of failures, instead, I ask the other person, did you get my text and they did not. Both iPhones use the same apple ID, but I can't imagine that's the issue. Any ideas on why some iMessages are just getting lost?

I think iMessage is like the Bump App. It could be akin to an immediate "peer to peer" type arrangement coordinated by Mother Apple.
Your device (iPod, iPad, iPhone) tells Mother Apple, via the internet (Wifi or 3G) that mobile No. or an eMail address is "online" and can receive messages.
People who want to message you from their devices are doing the same thing in "advertising" their presence and availability to Mother Apple with their "addresses" which could be phone numbers or eMail addresses.
When you want to send a message then it basically goes via Mother Apple who matches you up and makes the connection. If the other party drops off the internet during the messaging session for any reason, then, whilst your message is considered by Mother Apple to be "delivered" it is not actually received. I don't think Mother Apple have the facility to "hold" or store messages for later delivery, they are just the "exchange". Mother Apple could, however, snoop on conversations and this might be in the fine print of the terms and conditions.
If iMessage (ie an internet connection) is not available, then the SMS will most likely be sent as per the 3G network.
Re-registering your device is probably not a bad idea !

The Verizon Support & Protection app (VZ Protect) is installed on my phone and is supposed to help me if my phone is lost or stolen by allowing me to find it on a map, lock it, erase my data from it, etc. But I found it nearly impossible to figure out what I should do in the event that actually did get lost or stolen.

There really should be something more obvious right on the My Verizon site.

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
Have you tried closing all apps via the iPad's multitasking bar and then doing a soft-reset and seeing that helps ? To close all apps :
iOS 7: double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag each app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
iOS 6 and below : from the home screen (i.e. not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of each app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I haven't gotten a new sim card because the problem has been presenting itself in various cards not only mine. So far, all I've done is reset my network settings.
Last night, I turned off the 3G tab and it had all the signal bars. Today, I did the network reset and it's working apparently. But like I said before, previously the bars just disappear and the iphone only has the 3G activated.

I recently purchased a second hand new macbook air, although it was second hand to me the previous owner had never actually turned it on.

'D' Value in UPDMOD field getting lost in Transformation,Delete not working

Hello all,
We are using this datasource 0PU_IS_PS_32 for Funds management, the datasource has UPDMOD field in it, which is basically the 0RECORDMODE. So when they delete the document on R/3 side we can pick up the delete.
Now this is what is happening in the delta infopackage, I get the delat records in the delta infopackage and I see a "D" in the UPDMOD field, but that value of D is getting lost when i load the data from PSA to the DSO through transofrmation by using DTP.
After the request is loaded in DSO, before activating the request I check in New Data table and the field does not have a value of "D" anymore so when I activate the request the system does not know that those records are "D" delete records and so the records are not getting deleted from DSO.
Has anyone faced this before, how can I fix it. The transformation is just one to one mapping no routines or formulas of any kind.

It is mandatory that u map upmode to 0recordmode. In the rule group there will be 2 groups. One will be ur normal mapping and other should be used to map 0recordmode

In my login page my session value get lost frequently.I am using session.setAttribute("logon.isDone", name); in servlets and In every jsp's I am checking as <% if(session.getAttribute("logon.isDone")==null){

The value get lost in a very short time so user is sent to relogin .

Purchase a couple of these when they go on sale.
Start burning all the photos onto DVDs.
At least you'll have all your photos if your computer, time machine or any other backup you use goes bonkers.

Data getting lost in essbase

We use a replicated partition to copy data from planning to essbase application. Partition works fine and data gets copied. We have another separate maxl script which does changes to the outline. This script exports the data from essbase, clears the database, updates the outline, reimports the exported data and does a cube build. Once this maxl completes, whatever data copied from planning is lost. But if I look at the export file, planning data exist in the export file. We know import process is working fine, because other data not loaded thru partition exist in essbase.. Only data loaded from planning gets lost..
Can someone help me on this issue?

1. You maxl does the following things
exports data
clears data
updates the outline
reimports the data
2. After you reimport,Are you trying to retrive to confirm the data ?
3. After you reimport the data, check the properties of database ( check whether the new blocks have been loaded , and increased the count ).
4. Are you exporting all data , or only level 0 ?
5. If its only level 0, You need to aggregate or consolidate ( by running calculation script).

Mavericks Cover flow in Finder gets lost

"have upgraded to Mavericks, and I am having trouble with Coverflow in the Finder. When I delete files it gets lost, showing previews of files that are not the ones that are highlighted. The spacebar preview seems to work, showing me the actual contents, but the coverflow view is for a different file. Also, if there is a long list of files in the folder, it cannot display the files further down the list.
I was in the middle of a large project, going through thousands of photos in finder, when I upgraded. I had the perfect workflow, using coverflow, and it worked flawlessly in Lion. It seems this got boken in the update."

I'm having the same problem. If I navigated away from a folder it was happening with for a while, the ghost perviews in the coverflow would disappear, but it would still happen if I tried to move or delete a file.

Several of my applications (adobe acrobat, CAD) often crash (and need to be Forsed Quit) when I try to open a file using Cover Flow. AutoCAD release the following advisory:

Solution
This happens when you use Cover Flow view mode in a dialog box and navigate across folders. This issue will need to be corrected by Apple in a future Mavericks update.
To work around this issue, do not use the Cover Flow view mode in file navigation dialog boxes such as Open, New, Save, External Reference attach, PDF attach, Image attach, Import, Export, etc.
This is particularly annoying when trying to select a particular graphic file to work on. I wind up opening a finder window in Cover Flow to find the particular graphic I want to open and then looking for the file name in List View in the Open diaglog box.

Blank spaces at the end of an IDoc text field get lost when posted to R/3

I am facing the following issue:
In an XML file-to-Idoc scenario, there are spaces at the end of a text field in the inbound XML file, which I can see when I open the inbound file with a text editor like notepad, and they are kept after XI mapping is executed (I can see them in message mapping simulator). However, it seems that these spaces get lost once the IDoc is posted to SAP R/3 and they are not visible on SAP R/3 side.
Do you have any idea ? Thanks.

That means SAP is removing the spaces from IDoc fields, where you spaces are not allowed. Does it create any problem?

Parameter of Source-portion of url gets lost

following Situation:
Default List-View-WebPart from a custom List added to a Enterprise-Wiki-Page.
First column in the List-View is the edit button to open the related edit-Form.
Because of a custom Edit-Form which is not set as the default for edit i have to relink to my specific Form.
I have done this by this script which is included by Script-Editor-WebPart:

If i click a edit button to open my edit form everything works fine and the URL has correct values. The source Portion works fine if i close the edit form (save or cancel). So far so good.
In last mentioned edit form i have another List-View-WebPart (Added through SharePoint-Designer) which holds data of a related list. Filter is working fine here. For this List-View i also have to relink the edit button to another specific edit form. I have
done this in the same way as i did it before. The important part of the script:

So my Parameter BO is missing.
Do i miss something from specification?

Just mask the ampersand for Parameters in source Portion with %26
So in my case: source + "%26BO="

Password for Wireless Connection is getting lost in ATV

HI, since I updated my ATV to 3.01 my password for the Wireless connection is getting lost at least once a day! I always have to type in the password new.
I had this problem already some months ago, but then it worked fine. Now after the latest update the problem pops up again!
Any idea what this could be?

Welcome to the  Discussion Forums.
Whilst I understand that losing the password is an issue and a time consuming chore to retype back in, surely your first issue is why you keep losing connection to need to reconnect in the first place.
What type of security are you using on your network, have you tried changing channels to avoid interference.
