IMessages is not working . It says to check my connection, but it's fine. What is this , how do I fix it?? Please help me :)
I just got a new iPod touch and when I was setting it up I upgraded it to 5.1.1. The problem is that
I can activate iMessages. It comes up saying I should check my connection so I did and it was fine.
How do I fix this???
I really want to get this working so please help me! :)
Go to Settings>General>TIme&Date and make sure it is set to automatic and time zone is correct.
- Go to Settings>wifi and change the DNS to Google's 8.8.8.8

I am still trying to update my Ipod touch 4 to the iOS 6 version. It is on the 4.3.5 (8L1) version. When I go to settings-General-it just says About and nothing about an update. I have no idea how to update it! Please help!
You can only update via the ipod with ios 5 or later.
You need to update via itunes on your computer as always. -
Have just downloaded iSO6 to my ipad and now facetime will not work properly. It will take incoming but will not allow to make a call. Could anyone offer suggestions to the problem please?

Deauthorizing all is definitely the way to go. You will just need to authorize your computer again after, as well as your husband's.

I have got a new iphone recently. But I can't restore in app purchases. I have tried many times to reset it threw email and never got the message. I know I'm checking the right email I get your advertising messages there. I'm 85% sure I'm using the right answers! This has been very frustrating! Please help make this right!

The reset link for the security question will send the email to your rescue email account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 - that is the email account that you are checking, and you've checked the spam folder on it as well as the inbox, and tried clicking the reset link again ?
If you aren't receivineg the email then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to view your rescue email address to check that it's correct, in case you need to use it in the potential future use -
I Have seen similar questions to this but still can't seem to be able to fix the issue...
a Few months ago my iMessage and FaceTime stopped working, along with any notifications from apps such as Facebook. iMessage comes up saying 'iMessage activation. Could not sign in. Please check network connection settings.' I am currenttly using wifi on my iPad so I have internet, I've signed in and out of iTunes - as apps such as Facebook when open come up with 'connect to iTunes to receive push notifications.' I've checked the date and set it to automatically update and I've tried using different wifi And I've tried resetting the network settings. Does anyone have any other ideas? It's really annoying!

Parental Controls are not working correctly. There are websites I've listed under Allow Access, however they are still blocked. - such as: Yahoo mail and USAA banking. How can I fix this?

Just thought I'd let you know. Our suspicions were correct, it was the OS. After I installed Snow Leopard (10.6.8) all the problems were corrected. I also updated the RAM from 1 gb to 6 gb. The mac is working all around better. Sorry it took so long to get back to everyone. My superdrive had pooped out. Rather than replace it I got an external drive from OWC connected with firewire 800. So far everything is running very well, as far as I can tell this external drive is better than the original superdrive. My superdrive has always acted funny, infact I returned the first mac I got after a week because its superdrive was also malfunctioning. Anyway, all that to say everything seems to be fully functioning again.

itunes songs won't populate in the audio browser for slideshow. Says that they are loading but after 2 hours I gave up. How do I fix this challenge?

Please help! I can log onto the Apple website with my Apple ID and password, but with the same information iTunes sais "Your Apple ID or password was entered incorrectly"
I have tried several times to re-set the password with a new one.
This sometimes works once but then again, same issue from the iphone.
What's really strange is that the AppleId displayed when I have to enter my pwd to confirm an update of an application for example, is not my current real AppleId "[email protected]" but only "username".
What can I do, I'm stuck, with my 25 updates to do for months... ? -
IMessage can not sign in says to check network conntection
I just got a new iphone 5s through my insuranc cause I broke my 5c and when I activated my new phone i message wasnt working. it was working on thr 5c but my new 5s. I tried everything listed on this support page page about what to do if you get an error mesage when trying to activate iMessage. I even called my carrier and they think it has something to do with the icloud but im not sure. Ill attach the screenshots of what it pops up saying and if anyone has any ideas let me know before I spend the money on apple support thank you very much
Its just cause they at getting smashed and there servers are not running as smooth having same probs with I message just give it a day
