IMessages still not work properly

My iMessage still not work properly after updated iOS 7.0.3, still can not directly sent to any user using iPhone, there messages will become SMS.

    - Working Space: None
    - Match Legacy ... Gamma Adjustments checked ON
    But it does not correct the colors in effects. And checking or unchecking Make Movie/Output Module Settings/Color Management/Profile/Preserve RGB does not make any difference.

    Those parts of the video image that does not have color effects are just fine. In these parts the color is preserved when reimporting to FCP. However, those parts having color effects (except Levels, as decribed earlier) have altered color results. So, only the parts having effects affecting color are misinterpreted in the image area. The mismatch is of course seen in AE, before making the movie.
    What I ment with "Color Management not working properly" is that (instead of "disabling" it) Color Management does not seem to be able to correct this "misinterpretation" or difference in effect handling between AE 6 and 10.
    So, would you have any solution for this problem?

    I'm having the same problem. I have a 4th gen 32GB iPod Touch, and since upgrading to iOS6, iMessage has been nothing but buggy. It will work for an hour or so, and then randomly stop working as it won't send or receive messages. There's nothing wrong with my wifi, because that's the same as it was before. I really hope someone knows something to fox this problem. Some people use iMessage for good reasons - it needs to be a reliable messaging service like it was in iOS5.

    So the problem is that I can't play mp3 content uploaded to eg. SOUNDCLOUD, BANDCAMP, etc.
    Yes, namely the mp3 content, if it was uploaded as a WAV, it plays fine (figured this in the midst of discussion in soundcloud support forums).
    It just keeps throwing these
    "Media resource http://popplers5.bandcamp.com/download/track?enc=mp3-128&fsig=dcf1baa696b5497143821935f1592c58&id=682061656&stream=1&ts=1424020629.0 could not be decoded."
    So the problem seems to come about windows 8.1 N versions only, since they don't have the windows media player bundle.
    I've tested and confirmed that same version firefox works on another windows system which had the 'regular' windows.

    Meh, if it goes down to plain licensing problems, guess I am forced to install the media player bundle.. :(
    Didnt think of it up to now, and kinda thought this would be a problem on mozzila's end, but now I understand they simply can't include that licensed stuff :/

  • What's with Tracked Packet & Paypal Labels - still not working properly?

    This is probably an old refrain, but honestly, how many months/years has it been since Tracked Packet was added to Paypal labelling, and it seems it's still not working 100% correctly.  Case in point: I rarely use TP, but when I tried to change my listing's shipping type from Small Packet to TP yesterday while preparing a label, I got an error message saying the information was incorrect and I couldn't complete the process with TP.  I used the back button, tried inputting the details again, still no go.  Finally, I decided to back out completely, return to the Paypal transaction page and start all over.  This time I was able to get the label done.  So it seems that if any other shipping type is input first, you can't change your mind and switch to TP during the process. This has never been a problem with Expedited Parcel or with Xpresspost -- you can input the details, check pricing, then return and change the shipping type as many times as desired.  I'm wondering if the problem is me and/or my browser (again??), or does anyone else experience this annoying glitch?  BTW, Tracked Packet is an air service, right?  If not, I may be in trouble.  I ask this because I see the estimated delivery time is from 4 to 15 days -- quite a spread for TP U.S.A.

    Tracked Packet has always done the error since it was introduced. If another shipping option is used when you go to PayPal shipping from eBay, switching to Tracked Packet does not reset the form from the service that you came into. You cannot see anything but the form has not been reset. To get around this is simple.  You need to reset the form. A trick to do this is to go to the Service Type entry box, select "Select Type" as the service and click "Continue" at the bottom of the page. This will generate an error message at the top saying to "Please enter a valid service type."  This resets the form to the starter defaults and now you can select the Tracked Packet service. All the information that was entered will not be lost. I posted this solution way back when this "glitch" was first mentioned years ago when Tracked Packet was introduced. It was sent to kalvin at the time but he left eBay and it was never fixed. It is hard to get things fixed on eBay.ca Canada but it seems impossible to get anything fixed on PayPal shipping for Canada Post shipping issues.

    I assume you have turned the Bluetooth on.... (Bluetooth not working).
    On the iPad, try a reset (hold the power and home keys down until the Apple logo appears). I do not have an iPhone so I have no suggestion there.

    I keep googling the error message:
    "The Messages database is being upgraded, please wait while it finishes or Quit Messages and relaunch it later."
    i've check my applegothic, I've zapped pram, I've tried turning on text message forwarding, i've checked containers of settings (and sadly erased my old time machine backups before i realized i had a problem) and have even tried re-installing my OS... nothing.
    Anyone else (like from apple???) have any bright ideas? I've been back to using Skype with the rest of the heathens and i hate it...

    Back up all data.
    Quit Messages if it’s running. Force quit if necessary. Relaunch it and test after each of the following steps. If the problem isn't resolved, quit again and go on to the next step.
    Step 1
    Make sure you know the ID and password you use with iMessage. Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
    Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
    If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
    Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select
              Change Settings for Keychain "login"
    In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
    From the menu bar, select
              Keychain Access ▹ Preferences ▹ First Aid
    If the box marked
              Keep login keychain unlocked
    is not checked, check it.
    Select
              Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
    from the menu bar and repair the keychain.
    From the Category list in the lower left corner of the window, select My Certificates. Look carefully at the list of certificates in the right side of the window. If any of them is marked with a red "X" as expired or invalid, delete it. Also delete all items with "iMessage" or "com.apple.idms" in the name, whether valid or not.
    From the menu bar, select
              Keychain Access ▹ Preferences... ▹ Certificates
    There are three menus in the window. Change the selection in the top two to Best attempt, and in the bottom one to  CRL.
    Log out and log back in.
    Step 2
    Hold down the option key and select
              Go ▹ Library
    from the Finder menu bar. Move the following items from the Library folder to the Trash (some may not exist):
              Containers/com.apple.corerecents.recentsd
              Caches/com.apple.Messages
              Caches/com.apple.imfoundation.IMRemoteURLConnectionAgent
              Containers/com.apple.iChat
              Containers/com.apple.soagent
              IdentityServices
    Leave the Library folder open. Log out and log back in.
    Step 3
    Go back to the Finder and move the following item from the open Library folder to the Desktop:
              Messages
    Note: you are not moving the Messages application. You’re moving a folder named “Messages.”
    If Messages now works, delete the Messages folder on the Desktop. Otherwise, quit Messages again. Put back the folder you moved, overwriting the newer one that may have been created in its place.
    Step 4
    In the Preferences subfolder, there may be several files having names that begin with any of the following strings:
              com.apple.iChat
              com.apple.ids
              com.apple.imdsmsrecordstore
              com.apple.imessage
              com.apple.imservice
    Move them all to the Desktop. There may also be a file with the name "com.apple.imagent.plist". Move that to the Trash.
    Also in the Preferences folder, there's a subfolder named "ByHost". Open it and do the same thing.
    Log out and log back in. Test again. This time Messages should perform normally, but your settings will be lost. You may be able to put back some of the files you moved to the Desktop in this step. Relaunch and test after each one. Eventually you should find one or more that causes Messages to malfunction. Delete those files and recreate whatever settings they contained.
    If the issue is still not resolved, quit Messages again and put all the items you moved to the Desktop back where they were. You don’t need to replace the items you moved to the Trash. Stop here and post your results.
    If you later decide that you don’t like the results of Steps 3 and 4, you can undo them completely by quitting Messages and restoring the items you deleted in those steps from your backup.

    Hi, I sent my ipod to assistance because of a problem, they did not spot the problem and they sent me back my Ipod...
    It still has the same problem:
    - during hot days the audio stop after making noises, it need to be cooled to start working again. this happens even if I hold my Ipod in my hand, after a while it overheat and stop working. I have to say that this really STINKS!
    What should I do?

    by the way, the fact that it is impossible to send a feed-back about the support procedure is really annoying... my Ipod still doesn't work properly and I have to waste a lot of time trying to contact again apple...

    LR5.5 renames only a few of all files when publishing to hard drive and in a strange way...

  • IMessage STILL not working?!

    I still don't have iMessage on my iPhone 4.  I have tried resetting/restarting my phone, turning iMessage off then back on, etc.  It will work with my email address, but not my phone number. My MacBook Pro, however, is sending iMessages with my phone number just fine.  When I go to my messages settings, it says "No Addresses" in the Send & Receive field, and when I go into that setting, my number is greyed out so I can't select it.
    Please help!!

    Sign out and in from iMessage on your phone ... it will fix the issue.

  • Smartband Talk sleepdetection still not working properly

    I had a SWR-10 Smartband: great working device and sleep tracking was great also. I didn't mind starting sleepmode and setting it off every morning. Than there came a new Smartband the SWR-30: e-INK screen, watch-functionality, callfunctionalities, visual notifications and better sleepregistration, whoohaa. 
    Ouch: the sleepregistration doesn't work out of the box. An update is imminent... yes there it is. Oh, it's not really that good... sleeprecording doesn't start when it should, ends randomly while I'm sleeping and before I wake up. The problem is that the smart-alarm doesn't work when you are awake, so I sleep in on workdays and end up using my Z3 Tablet Compact as my alarmclock and for sleeprecording.
    Yeah: new software but still no good, Sony: connect using PC-Companian tool and renew software... that doesn't work, Sony: sure it does, did it today with a customer and all is well now. (sleepregistration is working and it's daytime on the same day as the fix??). That's not possible and you are doing something wrong (!), after some time Sony admids that its not possible to use the toll with a Smartband Talk. Sony: send your device in for repairs. Yeah: returns after 2 weeks and has been repaired... well... still the same software, not even the newest firmware wich is available for some days now. How is that possible? Install new software: slightly, very slightly better sleeprecording but no alarms, worse BT connection (reset BT on Phone, reset Smartband to connect) and worse battery life.
    Again contacting Sony (3 months now!) and being told to return device again for repair! That's utterly crap and unacceptable offcourse so now awaiting a new reaction. In my opinion: the device is a great watch and steptracker. Sleepfunction **bleep** and is not going to work untill Sony understands that they can't get automated sleepdetection reliably working, period. Expecting to get a refund after returning the device and not buying anymore devices from Sony until they have been used by others for several months. My early adaptor days with Sony products are over!
    Now waiting for another answer from Sony: what to do with this unsatisfied customer, he wants to return and be refunded because the product doesn't do what it should do and as is advertized? I think everybody knows what the answer should be. So beware, it's a great device but it has one major flaw, sleeprecording **bleep**. Sony read the posts on this forum concerning this problems!

    There is no problem with my phone, there's a problem with the automatic sleep function of the Smartband Talk. You should be working for Sony as they also don't know how to help me (joke) 
    I'm just ventilating my frustration with the device, or rather with the sleep functionality. But if you or anyone on this forum has a real idea how to make this work, be my guest.

    Dehellu, I've posted about this problem for mor then 1½ years ago and it is still persistent. Why doesnt Spotify offer a real helpdesk or support? This "support" forum is ridiculous to solve problems at this level.     I login to the windows client, all my lists look fine and the songs I've dropped into the specific lists are where they're suppossed to be.  BUT to my amaze, when I use the webclient the list I want to listen to at that specific moment contain different songs from the standalone client. Songs that has never been in there. If you who read this look at the pictures I've attached to this thread and compare the playlists in the standalone client in widnwos and the web client in chrome. Yes to the following questions;I've tried different browsersI've tried different computers at different locations in Stockholm.It is only with my own account, the one I'm writing from at this moment the playlists gets messed up.I've created new accounts and on those accounts the playlists work across all platforms. I am sorry if I sound in text as grumpy.     Scrannel, it is useless for him to waste his time to contact Rogers, they will tell him to contact BlackBerry and that they do support this kind of problem, the only problem  they deal with is when it is related to their network and that is it

  • Adobe reader still not working properly...

    My problem is this: Adobe Reader opens up the main window, remains up for about 2-3 seconds, then closes. No error dialogue boxes, nothing. It doesn't matter if I open a .pdf file directly, or just run the Reader executable. I've reinstalled; I've uninstalled, cleaned up, and installed fresh; I've reverted all the way back to v10. ( I'm going to try 9.0 in the next 5 minutes ) The problem remains the same.
    I'm running Win7 Home Premium.
    The only change I've seen is when I run it in compatibility mode ( WinXP svc pack 2 ) is that it then asks if I want to disable protected mode. Which I do. Yet, I then run into the same problem. Damn thing just closes...
    Running out of ideas. Anyone actually know how to fix this?

    I'm having sort of the same problem.  Except that I get an error message saying something unknown has occurred and it's gonna close now. I've un-installed, re-installed, re-booted and it still will not open any pdf.  Frustrating!
