    Hi

    Does anyone have any useful (ideally step by step) documentation on how to complete the customisation?

  • Need to convert to .img file

    I have an image, currently in .bmp format, but can be changed to .jpg or .tiff. I need to convert it to .img. I'm running CS6 on a Mac.

    Are you sure you don't mean img in the file name?
    Some cameras create file name like: img001.jpg, img002.jpeg, etc.
    Googling .img points to some type of image in AutoCAD?
    I find it hard to believe that AutoCAD cannot work with .jpg or tiff.
    .JPG is pretty universally accepted by all applications that deal with images.
    Who is asking you for an image with the .img file extension and what are they planning to do with it, (use in what application)?

  • REMOTE UPDATE IMG

    Hello Experts
    I try to update the banks customizing (tcode FBZP, FCHI) of FI source system in HR target system, with a program.
    I would like to use a RFC function module , but I don't know what  alternative I have to use for IMG's update (batch input, etc).
    What option is more suitable for this issue?
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,
    IMG customization steps are generally table updates only.
    Direct table update (MODIFY/INSERT/DELETE) may be a possibility.

  • Playing an img from hard disk

    I was able to save my project onto hard disk. I did this in order to proved another level of simulation ie:Apple support said the simulator does not support dvd@ccess. I can see the folder, files and a disk name. I tried droping the disk and img file to the dvd player but nothing executes. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

    Joe, thanks for the feedback, it's always nice to know that something you suggested helped with a problem.
    <begin rant>Honestly, I'm getting a little "burned out" by all of the people who post questions, sometimes pleading desperately for help, and then when you and others give detailed replies you never hear another word (up or down) from the person who posed the original question. In my opinion, such behavior is quite rude and it happens so often that you've got to start wondering what's up with the average individual. It's not so much the need for a thank-you, but rather knowing whether your suggestions helped or were even read. In any case, a reply would assist others as to whether (or how) the initial problem was resolved.<end rant>
    But, thanks for the thanks and sorry for going off topic.

  • How do I burn a disc image (img file) to dvd?

    I created a disc image from iDVD, but my disc drive on my home computer is broken. With a flash drive, I copied the img file onto my work computer & burned the file to disc. However, while the file copied, the disc doesn't play as normal dvd. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

    Though the replies above were very helpful and most likely would have worked, my work computer doesn't allow access to Disc Utilities. However, I bugged my IT guy and he showed me another way, using the Burn Application. I just needed to use the correct setting, as was mentioned above, I was burning data & not DVD. I'm sorry I don't have it in front of me, but I think I had to click the DVD tab & then select DVD/Video from the drop-down menu. One quirky element: I wasn't able to drag/drop the img file into Burn. I needed to drop the contents of the img file (the VIDEO_TS folder). Then it worked fine.

  • Trying to make a disc.img from an iMovie project get the mssage that some of the audio clips are not available. The clips still show as green bars in the project but do not play.

    I successfully made a disc.img and then burned a DVD of the project but found an error in a title. Went back to the project, corrected the error, and tried to create a new disc.img but got the message that some of the audio tracks were unavailable. They still show as green bars in the project but do not play. Tried deleting and reinstalling them with no success. They do play in iTunes and in the iMovie editing pane
    Thank you

    ... The goal is a ScrollPane that automatically wraps the text inside it. I've just about got it, but I have one thing that's not working. If I just put the JTextArea{s} in as the Editor, then you lose the any text that doesn't fit inside whatever the initial size was. Instead, I put the JTextAreas inside a JScrollPane which works fine, except that I still have to determine the size of the JScrollPane in advance. I would like to make each Editor/JScrollPane start out with just a single line of text and expand until it reaches a certain small number of lines.
    ... What am I missing?THE BASICS. See if this isn't what you are trying to do.
    import javax.swing.JFrame;

    public class Test
      public static void main(String[] args) {
        JTextArea ta = new JTextArea();

        f.setBounds(0, 0, 400, 300);
        f.setDefaultCloseOperation(f.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
        f.setVisible(true);
    }OP, your code was too long and complicated for me to compile and run. However, aren't you forgetting the two simple methods <tt>JTextArea.setLineWrap()</tt> and <tt>JTextArea.setWrapStyleWord()</tt>? Furthermore, I absolutely see no need for you to extend SWING components for demonstration this simple -- that is, if I understand your problem correctly.

  • How to edit a movie from an .img file

    Hi all!
    I've got a movie in .img format. What I'd like to do is cut off ten seconds of the movie, but I don't know how to do it.
    I've tried opening the file in Quicktime Pro (wouldn't open), iMovie (wouldn't open) VLC (opened just fine but couldn't edit it) and Ffmpeg (format not recognized) - so, no luck sofar.
    Can anyone point me in the right direction?
    Any suggestion would be appreciated!
    Lianne

    If the .img file is a DVD movie, MPEG Streamclip
    <http://www.squared5.com>
    can be used to select the movie (minus the ten seconds) and convert to another movie format. You will need the QuickTime MPEG-2 Playback Component
    <http://www.apple.com/quicktime/mpeg2/>
    If you want to create a new DVD formatted movie, convert to DV, then use iDVD to create a new DVD.

  • Can't open .img file

    I can't open a .img file on my Mac running Snow Leopard. I've tried opening it with Stuffit Expander, the default DiskImageMounter, and Disk Utility. I get an error message "The following disk image could not be opened" The reason "not recognized". I tried changing the extension to .dmg. So far nothing works. What gives? This was never a problem in previous OS X versions. It could be a corrupt file? Its a firmware update for a wireless router that I'm trying to open. I had this happen before and Stuffit Expander did the trick, but not this time. Suggestions? Reasons this is happening now?

    What exactly are you expecting the file to be? There are actually five completely different file types that all use the .img extension:
    http://www.fileinfo.com/extension/img
    If it's an image file created in ancient times by ShrinkWrap, it's apparently not easily openable on Mac OS X. I found a couple posts from 8 years ago indicating that Roxio Toast and Stuffit Deluxe could open them... whether this is still the case is anyone's guess. Remember that 8 years ago, Mac OS X was brand new and most people were still using Mac OS 9 or earlier. Things have changed very significantly since then.

  • I recored a video with my ipad, downloaded it to my mac but I cant upload it to Youtube because the format IMG is not a video format. How can I convert it?

    How can I convert a video I took with my ipad on the format IMG to a supported format for Youtube?

    To upload videos to YouTube we have to make sure videos are in a format that YouTube accepts. Here’s the list of some well-known video formats which YouTube supports:
    WebM files (Vp8 video codec and Vorbis Audio codec)
    MPEG4, 3GPP and MOV files – (typically supporting h264 and mpeg4 video codecs and AAC audio codec)
    AVI (Many cameras output this format – typically the video codec is MJPEG and audio is PCM)
    MPEGPS (Typically supporting MPEG2 video codec and MP2 audio)
    WMV)
    FLV (Adobe – FLV1 video codec, MP3 audio)
    But I think you get the wrong video file. iPad recorded video files are in m4v, mp4, mov, avi format but not the img files. Anyway, if you need a video converter, Format factory or iFunia video converter are good choice.
    Good luck!

  • What release level of code do you get when you download a disk image (ISO/IMG) of a click-to-run Office 2013 product?

    I’ve asked a similar question to this on an Office Community Forum but nobody knows the answer.  So
    I was hoping that an IT professional responsible for installing and deploying Office 2013 might know.
    If you download an installation disk image (ISO/IMG) of a click-to-run Office 2013 product from office.microsoft.com/myaccount (Account Options:
    Install from a disc > I want to burn a disc), what release level of code do you get?
    Now that Service Pack 1 is available, do you get a disk image with Service Pack 1 incorporated?
    Or do you still get the RTM (Release to Manufacturing) level of code?

    Diane, thank you for the reply.
    I was hoping that someone who has downloaded a disk image since SP1 became available would be able to confirm that for a fact.
    I have just found a good description of Click-to-Run on Technet that I didn't know existed.  The link is: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj219427(v=office.15)
    The article states:
    "Click-to-Run products that you download and install from Microsoft are up-to-date from the start. You won’t have to download and apply any updates or service packs immediately after you install the Office product."
    This statement is probably true if you click the Install button on office.microsoft.com/myaccount and install "in real-time" over the Internet.  However, I know for a fact that it is not true if you order a backup disk (Account
    Options: Install from a disc > I want to purchase a disc).  All you get is RTM level code (15.0.4420.1017).
    So I still feel uneasy about what release level you get if you download a disk image.  I don't want to download what might be the better part of 1GB of code over the Internet only to discover it is back level.
    Addendum (6 April 2014): I decided to perform an experiment.  I looked at the size of the data on my backup disk which contains RTM level code.  It is 2.04GB.  I then went to office.microsoft.com/myaccount and clicked to download a disk
    image of my Office 2013 product.  The pop-up window that asks me whether I want to Run or Save the file informed me that the size of the file is 2.04GB!!!  I cancelled the download.  I strongly suspect that, if I had continued with the
    download, I would have received the same RTM level code I already have dating back to October 2012.  I think this is awful customer service.  To some extent, I can understand the logistical problems of replacing backup disks lying in warehouses
    waiting to be shipped.  But I cannot understand why disk images on download servers cannot be refreshed quickly.

  • How to use Sharepoint 2013 img file

    Hi,
    I downloaded Sharepoint 2013 as an img file. I am trying to install it on VMWare 5.1 which only accepts ISO files. How can I convert the img file to ISO or what other workarounds are available?
    I already tried renaming the file to ISO, but it didn't work.
    Thanks

    Hi WaelS,
    If you want to use img file in VMWare, you may need to convert the img file to ISO, as VMWare doen't support img file.
    Please do as the followings to convert the img file to iso:
     1. Unzip the files
     2. Open a command prompt (Start > Run > type cmd, press Enter)
     3. Browse to the folder where the unzipped files are (cd "c:\Windows ISO Files")
     4. Considering that you are in the folder containing the files command prompt, type
           copy /b file1+file2+file3+file4+file5 file.iso
     4a. Check that the files have no extension. If they have, the command changes to something like:
           copy /b file1.ext+file2.ext+file3.ext+file4.ext+file5.ext file.iso
     4b. If there aren't *any* other files in the folder, typing this should be enough:
           copy /b *.* dvd_file.iso
    If you still have question about the issue, I suggest you can post a thread in corresponding forum, you will get more helpful information from there.

  • How to convert .iso to .img

    i am being driven absolutely madd by my computer. all i want to do is a simple task, yet hours of my life have now been drained. so to save the rest of my time as well as others in the future, how does one convert a .iso file to .img on a mac? (yes, i've looked at every forums answers and ive copied the instructions (which were slightly different for each forum) perfectly into terminal, but nothing happens. so lets make this as simple as can be....
    just in case this maters, i'm running osx mavericks.
    on my desktop there is an iso file we will call X.iso.
    i want X.iso to be converted to X.img.
    simple right? or at least you’d think so….
    if anyone can write out the formula that i can then type into terminal, you will achieve god like status in my mind.
    the file is on my desktop, and i want the converted file to end up on my desktop as well. so because the file location is simple, and universal, the formula should be pretty easy to figure out.
    thank you to whoever does.

    hi allan,
    thanks for the super quick reply, but i don't think this is true. theres definitely a way of converting .iso to .img; theres many people out there who claim to have success with this through terminal. it doesn't matter what the file is called... like i said in the original post... for reasons of simplicity, we are going to call it X.iso; the name is irrelevant; it's the formula that gets typed into terminal that i need.
    i don't mean to sound rude, but if you don't have an answer please just keep your comments to yourself. the last thing any forum needs is a bunch of "i don't know"'s. there is a way, and i want to hear the formula from someone who knows what he/she's doing.
    a couple examples of this formula from other websites are as follows...
    hdiutil convert -format UDRW -o /convert/newfile/output.img /convert/source.iso
    or
    Type "hdiutil convert source.iso -format UDRW -o destination.img" without quotes, and then press "Return." Replace "source" and "destination" with their actual values.
    BUT...
    none of them have worked for me. this being said, it's worked for others somehow. i must be typing something wrong. this is why i need a mac genius. any takers?

  • Writing ftp install img to USB and booting

    Hello,
    New user here.  Have been messing around with Arch in a VM and now want to try a true hdd install.  I don't have an optical drive so I'm trying to go the USB route.
    The computer does allow booting from USB but I am having trouble in this case.
    I have tried unetbootin and it completes writing to the stick without a hitch.  However, upon boot, a black screen is displayed with the word "boot:" and a flashing cursor.  It does not have the normal Arch grub menu.  I can't figure out where to go from there.  I believe this is not the correct behavior because I tried unetbootin w/ backtrack 3 as well and it booted right into the correct menu.  (Used the standard FTP iso for this, the application could not find an iso based on the drop downs so I pointed to it using the "ISO" method.)
    Secondly, I tried the method listed in the Arch guide's using dd .
    sean@david-u:~/Downloads$ sudo dd bs=8M if=archlinux-2009.08-netinstall-x86_64.img of=/dev/sdf
    23+1 records in
    23+1 records out
    195641856 bytes (196 MB) copied, 50.1885 s, 3.9 MB/s
    Using this method, upon boot, at POST, before the system gets to the boot devices, it hangs hard.  Nothing but a hard restart brings it out.  My downloaded img md5sum matches the md5sums.txt, however I cannot verify that the written md5sum matches the image file as I'm not sure how to capture the fact that dd says it wrote 23+1 records.  See below:
    sean@david-u:~/Downloads$ sudo dd if=/dev/sdf count=23 status=noxfer | md5sum
    23+0 records in
    23+0 records out
    21915d144f3b0c05d7d72c6cad297353 -
    sean@david-u:~/Downloads$ sudo dd if=/dev/sdf count=24 status=noxfer | md5sum
    24+0 records in
    24+0 records out
    9923f522012aff9182b708db23197988 -
    sean@david-u:~/Downloads$ sudo dd if=/dev/sdf count=23+1 status=noxfer | md5sum
    dd: invalid number `23+1'
    d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e -
    sean@david-u:~/Downloads$ cat archlinux-2009.08-netinstall-x86_64.img | md5sum
    64cdedf65f5da1b1ca584fe12a892ca1 -
    Thirdly, I tried creating one per http://wiki.debian.org/BootUsb however it seems that the paths to some files are different.  This method gets me the furthest.  The Arch grub menu displays but if I type 'arch' to start the kernel loading it reports that it cannot find '/boot/vmlinuz26'  I tried all sorts of things, moving around the files, but couldn't get it to find the kernel.
    Fourthly, I tried the Gujin method but when i try to 'cat archlinux-2009.08-netinstall-x86_64-isolinux.iso > /dev/sdf5' it gives me permission denied regardless of whether it's mounted or not or if im running as root or not.
    Suffice it to say, I'm getting frustrated here as I probably don't understand some of these things as much as I should.  Anyone have any similar experiences/solutions they can share?

    I think the poster wants a USB from which to boot and install from. I do this all the time like this-
    Format USB (I use fat, not sure it matters since dd overwrites anyhow) Make sure to flag as boot partition.
    Plug in USB stick again and do a dmesg in terminal to find the /dev/sd?? assigned.
    As root -
    dd if=<enter .img file here> of=/dev/sd??
    For example -
    sudo dd if=archlinux-2009.08-netinstall-x86_64.img of=/dev/sdf
    Works for me every time. It sounds as if your USB is not flagged bootable.
