Immediate TO Creation-SAP WM -

Hi gurus
Can pls help me
There are two items in a GR ,for one item if there is enough bin space to accomodate and for another item there is no enough space then will the system creates Immediate TO for the 1st item and Manula putaway TR for the second item alone,is it possible ,how to do it ,is that we need to use user exist .

It depends on your settings in movement type customising,
Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Activities ->
Transfers -> Define Movement Types.

Immediate TO creation

Dear WM gurus.
We are trying to create immediate TO for a GR for a purchase order.We have maintained the setting of immediate TO creation in config in LE-WM in movement types .
when we do the GR we see that only TR is created and TO is not created.

Hi,
The immediate TO creation setup should be in Interfaces -> Inventory Management -> Define Movement Types -> LE-WM Interface inventory management. The setting in movement type configruation is for automatic TO creation (rather than immediate TO creation).

Also, don't forget to setup mail control for immediate TO creation in case the TO creation is failed you will get a error message sent to your inbox.

For any automatic triggering of any evenet/transaction in SAP...one has to schedule a report/program to run in regular intervals....although some these regular intervals will be suggested by SAP...but you/your business can take deceision of scheduling the run.
If you want ur TO to be triggered immediately without aggregating the other TOs and without holding the time frame then go for immediate and on the other side..if you want to trigger after aggregating bunch of TOs within a time frame set by business then go for scheduling the report/program.

LE-TRM: automatic and immediate TASK creation at TO creation

Up to know, I succeed in creating TASK either manually in the TRM monitor or by running the report RLTRQSCHEDULER.
I'd like to know how to get the following behavior in SAP LE-TRM (Task and Resource Management) module : automatic and immediate task creation in TRM at TO (transfer order) creation in LE.
Does anyone know how to set this up?

Immediate TO creation and confirmation during MB1B

Hi
In one of our client scenario , we need to create a immediate TO creation and confirmation with respect to PCN created during stock transfer from one storage location to another storage location with in a same plant .
I have done the neccesay setting in Tcode OMLR , but the system is not been able to create the immidiate TO perhaps system doesn't know from which storage type it sohuld select the material.
Can anybody hleps me how to configure this . Do i need to customise storage location control .if yes then what are steps in details ?

Blocking a particular customer for immediate delivery creation

Hi All,
I have the following requirement
Right now whenever the sales orders comes from the customers through EDI, the deliveries were created immediately. This was set up through the sales document. This is being used for the document KE.
Now we need to stop this immediate delivery creation for a particular customer when orders come through EDI.
We can not do this by blocking the customer for deliveries(VD05) because this will block all the sales documents for deliveries. We need this to happen only for KE.
We cannot remove the immediate delivery creation set up from the sales document(KE) because this will affect all the customers(for other customers this should create immediate delivery).
I feel this has to be controlled through a user exit.
In that case what should be the logic used?
What should be checked before blocking the delivery for a particular customer?
Please advise on this.

Here is the alternate solution by simple customizing.
You need to do it in two steps:
Step 1: Define reasons for Blocking the delivery
IMG > Logistics Execution > Shipping > Deliveries > Define Reasons for Blocking in Shipping
Select : Deliveries: Blocking Reasons/Criteria
u2022 Define a blocking reason : say ZZ u2013 delivery Hold.
u2022 Check the Order check box
u2022 Save
Select: Delivery Blocks
u2022 Assign SO to Delivery ( I guess KE to whatever delivery type you have configured)
STEP 2:
Go to Customer Master record for whom you want to block them for normal process:
XD02 > enter customer master in change mode.
Select u2018Extrasu2019 tab in main menu
You see u201C sales and Distribution blocksu201D
Under this click on delivery block ( for All sales areas or desired sales area)
You will find the reason for blocking (ZZ) you created in STEP 1
Assignu2019 ZZu2019 to this customer and save.
Thatu2019s itu2026u2026 !!!!!
When a sales order received with this customer through your EDI, the order will be blocked for delivery.
One need to release the order manually by releasing this block
VA02 > sales tab : remove the block from the delivery block

Immediate TO creation during posting 261 movement

Hi,
I have done the OMLR setting A for 261 movement. But Immediate TO is not created for production order and maintanance order goods movement[261].Please confirm that any other configuration setting is missing or what are the steps to create immediate TO for 261 movement. Thanks.

Here find the entry of combination --- your warehouse no , ref. movement type 261
there you will find a column Immediate To creation , here enter A .
and also special movement indicator as A .
If the entry does not exists create it ( make it specific so that only for your Wahrehouse this settings would be valid)

Immediate Delivery Creation on Sales Order Save

Hi,
For one my scenario I want delivery to be created immediately after saving the sales order.
For which i have set the immediate delivery'X' in the sales document type. But when i create the sales order, which is confirmed for today, delivery is not immediately created.
Let me know what could be the possible reason for this and is there any other place i need to make additional settings?

I guess that materials will be maintained in separate storage loc to process immediate delivery scenarios in your company sothat item is confirmed for today.
When immediate delivery is not happening, thenit means that the system is not calling the delivery creation prog immediately after order save.
So in sales order prog MV45AFZZ put a code that if the order has to create immediate delivery (like rush orders SO, cash sale BV), system should check if the material is confirmed for today. If yes, it should call delivery creation prog SAPMV50A

As per your query there is not profile of SAP to give display authorisation, for this you have to create new profile on module wise and assign to user.

Can i use the SAP standard package for lock object creation ?

Dear Guru ,
I want to create a new lock ojbect for my abap program .
When i completed the creation , SAP required a new request and it said the object only can be imported to SAP standard package .
But i saw the help from SAP said :

Hi Carlos...
First , You will never be able to use any standard SAP Package for your custom programs. So don't go for it.
So in your case what you need to do is , when you save your Lock object ,
- if you want Transport request to be created , then
in the screen shown you need to enter the Z package name (the same package as that of your ABAP Program)
or
-if you want it to be stored as local object , then
specify package as $tmp

Skip the Creation of Maintenance Notification

I would like to know the effect if i will skip or remove the process of creation of Maintenance notification in SAP PM. The process will start with the creation of Order, if there's an external service required the Maintenance Order will be converted into PO if no external service or material will close the Order.
Since the Creation of Maintenance Order will generate Notification, we were thinking that creation of Notification is redundant if the system allows to create order and notification in one transaction.

As the experts, who had already answered observed, this is purely a business process consideration. If your (Client's) organization supports a "streamlined" process in which direct Order creation is beneficial you can go for it.
As you've written "Since the Creation of Maintenance Order will generate Notification, we were thinking that creation of Notification is redundant if the system allows to create order and notification in one transaction." I assume you are still using Notification and Order integration. But as Yogesh Dhokne mentioned, this is optional as well.
If you choose to create a Notification in the background, you can still register breakdown times for MTTF/MTBF calculations, Catalog Codes for tracking and any additional information once the Orders are created.
But consider this: How is work requested, released for execution and reported? If you only create Orders, you have only Orders to go on. Therefore, you might require more verbose User Status management, and you may find yourself with Orders that are being created unnecessarily and have to be closed, Orders being released prematurely... You have to have a very "flat" process around this immediate Order creation.
On the other hand, consider that having Notifications created prior means a more "deep" process and more overhead, but you can have a step to filter works to be released on the Notification level before Orders are created, if you have more than one Notification for the same work, you can assign it to a single Order, and you have more options when designing roles and authorizations, since you can separate access and business transactions for Notifications and Orders for your Operations and Maintenance users, if necessary.

Issue in automatic delivery creation

Hello,
This is to reframe the issue again and give you some more details on
this issue –
As per SAP standard we have configured our salers order for
immediate delivery creation with a default delivery block – XX. Hence
as
per config whenever we create a sales order, it gets created with a
default delivery block – XX which later on users removes manually and
system subsequently as per design creates the delivery document
automatically.
We are facing two issues in case of sales order design –
1. Some time even after removing the delivery block –XX manually,
system do not create the delivery document automatically against those
sales order.
2. Some time if sales order is created with a credit block in
addition to Delivery Block – XX, system doesn’t create automatic
delivery document against those sales orders even after releasing /
removing the credit block as well as Delivery block.
But if you just open those sales orders in VA02 and make any change for
example – Carry out new pricing Or carry out Availability check for any
one item and save the sales order without making any change into it,
system is creating delivery document against that sales order
automatically.
This issue is happening sporadically. There is no specific pattern
where
this issue is happening. This is an inconsistent issue. We could not
replicate this issue in any of our Non-production SAP system.
Whenever we tried to investigate it in debug mode for the sales orders
where this issue has happened, it worked well and created delivery
document automatically.
Requesting you to kindly look into this issue again and help us to fix
it as early as possible.

Immediate TO for posting change

Hi,
Is it possible to have immediate TO for posting change?
I have done the following setting in LE-WM Interface to Inventory Management: Assigned the reference movement to WM movement and checked the indicator for Create transfer order immediately -A.
I am able to manually convert the psoting change notice -> TO without any error. The system also works fine in case of Automatic TO. However the system does not create TO's immediately.
I have one more question: During Automatic / Immediate TO creation, how does the system know the affected stock? For ex.
In case of transfer posting using 321, how will the system select the source?

I think the following may apply to your issue.
When you post a material document in IM, and movement types both "with" and "without" automatic transfer order creation exist in that document, the system does not start the automatic transfer order creation program.

Activate puaway user-exit for immediate TO

Hello,
We use putaway user-exit MWMTO003(EXIT_SAPLL03A_001) to determine destination bin with our own logic by tick check-box "user-exit" in destination storage type. When we set "call LT06(create TO based on GR doc)" in WM-MM interface, the T-code LT06 will be called up after we do GR. After that we will do LT06 to create TO and determine the destination bin, at this situation, the user-exit can be activated and work normally to determine the destination bin. But if we set "TO is Immediately created" in MM-WM interface, when we do GR, the user-exit MWMTO003(EXIT_SAPLL03A_001) can't be activated and TO is generated immediately according SAP standard putaway strategy. We expect the TO can be generated immediately according our own putaway strategy which is determined the by user-exit MWMTO003(EXIT_SAPLL03A_001) after we do GR.
How can we handle this situation. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
So basically, in the situation of immediate TO creation, the exit is not called. If immediate TO creation is desired, you can also consider automatic TO creation through RLAUTA10 report. You set automatic TO creation in the storage type and plan job RLAUTA10 and schedule to any time interval you wish. The exit might be called in this scenario.

Automatic TO creation inmediatly after TR generation

Hi,
Im doing an stock transfer through MB1B, movement type 301. When we save the document, stock appears in storage type 920 in negative quantity. Like the process does not finished ok.
I think it is a check in customizing, but I could not find it.
In other enviroment, it works ok, goods goes correctly to the other plant and the stock does not appear negative in the storage type 920.
The only difference I could find are two chechboxs in the transfer requirement that is not checked:
Auto.TO creation.
Indicator: Processing complete

Its a std process in SAP when you transfer the stock from one plant to another the system reserve the stock at interim storage type 920-Transfer and when you complete the TR>TO>Confirmation then the negative goes off.
In your case Automatic TO creation is not set up properly in Customizing thats y you are getting this issue.
Follow the steps below
For Immediate TO creation
1 OMLR - Set the Automaitc TO indicator A for the Movement type 301 for your warehouse
2 OMLZ - Tick the check boxes TO item can be confirmed immediately & Propose confirmation
