Immer wieder Cach Probleme in Bridge

Hallo,
ich habe immer wieder Cach Problem, obwohl ich den Cach mittlerweile in das Verzeichnis exportiere. Habe gestern gerade den Cach geleert und für 1800 Bilder neu eingelesen. Heute nun wieder das selbe: Das Suchen nach Bilder mit einer bestimmten Bewertung war nach einiger Zeit nicht mehr möglich.
Langsam frage ich mich, ob Bridge überhaupt das richtige Tool dafür ist, denn diese andauernden Cach Probleme in Bridge haben mich schon Tage an Zusatzarbeit gekostet.
Für Hinweise wäre ich sehr dankbar.

Zuerst hatte ich das hier bereits beschriebe Problem mit dem immer wieder erneuten Drehen von Hochformat Fotos. Eines war dabei, welches schließlich sogar spiegelverkehrt war. Ich habe deshalb mittlerweile diese Bilder aus Digitalkameras als schreibgeschützt, was das Arbeiten sehr erschwert.
Neuerdings ist jetzt scheinbar der neu erstellte Cach so defekt, dass die Suchfuntkion nicht mehr geht und es kommen auch Meldungen, dass die Datenbank defekt sei. Ich wußte nicht, dass da eine DB dehinter steht. Da hilft dann nur Zentraler Cach bereinigen. Dabei gehen dann aber auch bei JPGs ein Teil der Bewertungen verloren (hauptsächlich die mit 2 und 3 Sternen).

Cache Problem in Bridge!

I have Photoshop CS6 on my system for the last two years with no problems. We lost power today due to a bad storm while I was using Bridge. Now when I open Bridge it keeps giving me an error message about cache, and tells me to go purge the cache. I did purge the cache, but still getting the error message! What do I need to do to fix this problem?
I've completely uninstalled Photoshop CS6 and Bridge from my system. Then I physically went to the Adobe folders in program files and deleted all files. I then used RegEdit to remove all links in the registry associated with Photoshop CS6 and Bridge. Then after a restart of my system I re-installed Photoshop CS6 and Bridge back onto my system from a disk.
But to my surprise, even after everything I did, I still get a message about cache when I open Bridge! After this I did a system restore to an earlier date prior to this problem, but I'm still getting the error message!
Please Help!

You correct it by leaving Bridge alone until it finishes rebuilding its cache, overnight if necessary.

ADobe Bridge CC encounters a cache problem....

it is unable to read the cache. Try purging central cache in Prefs to correct.... done it! doesn't work. same every time I open it.

I had the same problem. Adobe Tech Support representative remote controlled my iMac 5k and manually deleted the Bridge cache folder (including the sub-folders). This corrected my problem. The rep said that using the Purge Cache option in Bridge's preferences will not solve the problem.

Bridge update does not fix caching problems.

The 5.0.1.23 update for Bridge CS6 does NOT fix the problem of constantly re-caching layered TIF files.

At that time I also submitted a bug report via photoshop.com, and received an e-mail response from Adobe support confirming the problem had been replicated in their lab and promising a fix in the next update.
I've since tracked several other reports of this bug and related cache problems.
I assume that, at best, we will have to wait another 6 months or more for the next update. How can I assure this bug will be addressed?

Thank you for this bit of information. Maybe it means I can stop the deactivations/uninstall/reinstall/reactivate cycle to try yet another solution. And hopefully, this will stop the re-caching problem with other than tif files.

Bridge Cache Problems

I keep getting a message telling me Bridge (CC) can't read the cache, purge the cache in preferences.
I've purged the cache and restarted Bridge a dozen times, and keep geting the same message.

Must be on a mac. Some users only get relief from a manual delete of cache files.

Ich habe eine Bitte - vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen?
Ich habe Photoshop CC und die Bridge CC auf 2 Rechner (Mac, Betr.System Mavericks) installiert.
Problem 1:
Ich öffne ein Bild in der Bridge, will die schon bestehenden Stichwörter in der Dateiinformation erweitern. Im Feld „Metadaten“ in der Bridge kann ich die einzelnen gefüllten Felder sehen (IPTC). Will ich nun die Dateiinformation öffnen. Mit "cmd+i" (Dateiinformation öffnen) erscheint ein weisses Blatt, ganz oben ist die Bildnummer zu sehen, sonst nichts. Dann lässt sich die Bridge auch nicht mehr normal schließen, ich muss dies über Apfeltaste/Befehlstaste - sofort beenden - Bridge tun.
Dieses Problem tritt nur auf einem Rechner auf. Habe die Voreinstellungen überprüft, sie sind ident.
Problem 2: Ich öffne in der Bridge ein RAW Bild, verändere Farbe und Größe im RAW-Converter z.B. auf 16:9. Wenn ich das Bild nun im Photoshop CC öffne, wird zwar die Farbanpassung (auch nicht immer!!) richtig dargestellt, aber das Bild hat noch immer die Originalgröße, der Beschnitt wird ignoriert.
Dieses Problem tritt auf beiden Rechnern auf.
Weiss jemand eine Lösung für meine Probleme? Vielen Dank im Voraus!

Reparatur der Zugriffsrechte abgeschlossen
Ich kann damit nichts anfangen. Bei Safari.app hab ich gesucht, aber da konnte ich nichts finden.
Wenn ich die Reparatur laufen lasse, kommt immer und immer wieder der gleiche Bericht. Auch komisch, wenns doch eigentlich repariert wurde, oder?

Problem with Bridge CS4 reading/editing XMP metadata added in Bridge CS6

Please excuse me if this is a dumb/obvious question. I did try searching the forums for similar problems and didn't find anything that seemed to speak to my issue.
I'm having a problem where Bridge CS4 won't read/edit xmp metadata (specifically, keywords and descriptions in the IPTC panel) that I have entered using CS6. it will read some files, not others. The files are all .mp4s. Of these files, I can read/edit IPTC panel metadata for some of them in Bridge CS4; I can add metadata for all of them in CS6. I see no particular pattern in these files to explain what is and isn't read/editable in CS4.
My question is whether this is a compatibility issue between different versions of CS (in this instance, CS4 and CS6). i know it's a tired refrain to blame software when it could easily be user error, in which case I'd be frankly delighted to know what i'm doing wrong. Please bear with me as I give a few more details.
I'm using macs. I've tried this on multiple systems - for instance, on a mac pro 3 which for some reason has both CS4 and CS6 installed, i can add and edit keywords using CS6, but not when using CS4. Again, in CS4, some .mp4 files read/edit, others do not.
Bridge CS4 blames the files and tells me that the selected file cannot store xmp metadata, and that the properties cannot be modified. To be specific, in the metadata panel it says "this property cannot be modified"; in the keyword panel, it says, "This file (zzz.mp4) cannot store xmp metadata. No changes will occur." This seems odd, because I'm able to add xmp metadata for the same files in CS6 on the same computer, and other computers. I know this problem would disappear if all our computers were using CS6 (or CC), but unfortunately that's not a possibility at the moment. Some of them only have CS4.
Computer details (not an exhaustive list, but two instances): mac pro 3.1 running snow leopard, 16GB memory; macbook pro 4.1 running snow leopard, 4GB memory; adobe bridge cs6 (5.0.0.399) and cs4 (3.0.0.464).
Things I have tried:
Permissions - the files are set to read/write for everyone. Given that I can add/edit metadata in CS6, it doesn't seem to be a permission issue.
Purging the cache - other users seem to have had problems adding metadata in Bridge CS4 where purging the cache for affected files solved the problem. Didn't work in this instance.
Upgrading all affected computers to CS6/CC is beyond my control. I need to figure out why CS4 won't let me read/add/edit xmp metadata, if only for the sake of understanding the broader implications for interoperability.
Any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated.

adobe bridge cs6 (5.0.0.399) and cs4 (3.0.0.464).
Without having experience with mp4 files and metadata my observation is that you certainly have not updated Bridge CS6 ( should be 5.0.2.4) and I believe also not the latest version of CS4, can't imaging this also stayed at .0.0 so first try to update both.
And if CS4 can read the data of some files it should be capable of reading them all. Be sure to have the files completely cached first, can take a while.
Other things to try in CS4 is refresh preferences (hold down option key while restarting Bridge and choose reset prefs).
And also check for hidden cache files using menu view/show hidden files. Sometimes those cache files can be troublesome between versions.
If purge cache did not work and reset prefs also failed consider to also delete Bridge plist file and Bridge cache file manual (from user library)

Can't choose cache folder in Bridge CS6 on a different drive/partition

I just installed Photoshop CS6 and noticed a non-critical, but nevertheless annoying problem in Bridge (Platform: Win7 x64):
When I try to relocate the cache folder (Menu: Edit -> Preferences -> Cache -> Location, then pressing the button "Choose"), the path selection dialog that pops up is actually incomplete.
That is, it doesn't show all my drives. In fact, it doesn't show ANY paritions.It just defaults to the usual user home directory (on partition C: ), but won't show (and hence: won't let me select) any other partition. To be more precise: The root folder of the tree shown is the "Desktop" folder in my user home directory - and that's all there is.
Since there is no field were I could enter (type) the path directly, I'm basically stuck with having my cache on C: now. Which isn't the place where I want it. (I have not enough disk space there)
For comparison:
In Bridge CS5, the same dialog is working as expected: I.e. when I scroll down, I can also see other partitions, and choose a path somewhere on, say, drive F:
BTW: I also noticed this same behaviour with the CS6 beta, but wasn't concerned then, because - well... it was just a beta, and I thought that somehting as obvious as this would be fixed by the time the final version comes out... :-/
Is there any other way to set the cache path?
Should I file a bug report?
Before someone asks: Yes, I deinstalled the beta before installing the final PS CS6, and yes, everything else seems to work as it should.

While that's not brand new (and doesn't explicitely mention CS6), it's
significantly newer than 2006 and it's the exact same page that comes up
when you open Bridge's help window and search for "reset". Other pages like

also concur that it's CTRL-ALT-SHIFT - which is what I used to
successfully reset the settings.
But let's stop talking about what's the proper way to reset Bridge's

In preferences/startup scripts do you have checks for at least Bridge
and Photoshop?

ones for Bridge and Photoshop)

Immer wieder erneut rendern :(

Hallo zusammen, ich habe da ein kleines Problem mit Premiere Pro CS6. Unzwar, wenn ich meine Sachen im Sequenzer render, um damit ruckelfrei arbeiten zu können und ich einen Moment warte ist wieder alles wie vorher und ich darf es erneut rendern. Es ist sehr nervig, wenn Premiere immer wieder alles automatisch rückgängig macht. Bisher war ich sehr zufrrieden mit Premiere, aber mittlerweile rege ich mich nur darüber auf und im Internet gibt es auch weit und breit keine Lösung für mein Problem oder ich suche einfach nur falsch. Hat vielleicht jemand eine Lösung, wie ich dieses Problem beheben kann, bzw. woran das liegt?

Niemand weiß nichts genaues nicht. Sorry, ohne ein paar vernünftige technische Informationen ist das völlig sinnlos. Genaue Systeminformationen, Projekteinstellungen, Sequenzeinstellungen, Programmeinstellungen für Hardwarebeschleunigung, Quellmaterial usw.

PS CC Update kommt immer wieder

Hallo zusammen!
Ich habe mir vor ein paar Tagen PS CC inkl. LR gekauft. Hat alles wunderbar geklappt und es funktioniert auch alles.
Allerdings meldet mir die CreativCloud nach jedem Neustart, dass für PS ein Update verfügbar ist. Es handelt sich dabei um das 14.2.1 Update.
Wenn ich auf Aktualisieren klicke lädt er einige Zeit und meldet dann, dass die Aktualisierung erfolgreich war.
Hat jemand eine Ahnung was hier schief läuft?

Die Cloud bietet mir immer und immer wieder die Aktualisierung für PS an.
Ich denke, solange PS funktioniert ignoriere ich das Problem vorerst.

4 GB is very little RAM when you are working with After Effects, you might consider adding more. That being said, it seems like it is trying to pull audio from an AVI file. However, you are working on a music video, so you are probably only using the audio from your music source... Try turning off the audio switches on all of the layers that have it (minus the music track) and see if that helps.
Wait, are you actually editing the piece in After Effects? (Premiere would be a much better choice for editing.)

wir haben bei 8.8 das Problem, das die Belegeinstellungen in den Verkaufs- und Einkaufsbelegen immer wieder auf den Standard zurückgesetzt werden.
Kennt jemand das Problem?

Benutzt du den SA User für den Zugriff auf die Datenbank oder habt Ihr einen eignen B1 Nutzer angelegt. Sollte letzteres der Fall sein, überprüf mal, ob dieser Benutzter auch Schreibrechte in die jeweiligen Datenbanken hat.
Zusätzlich ist es hilfreich, dem Benutzer am Client zumindest Schreibrechte in das B1 Client Verzeichnis zu gewähren. Das hat bei mir bei einigen Addonproblemen geholfen. 8.8 hatte ich noch nicht in den Fingern, was dein Problem angeht.

Mein Time Capsule fungiert als bridge und gibt ein Neues WLAN Netz aus.
Die über LAN angeschlossenen Geräte funktionieren einwandfrei - lediglich mein iphone verliert immer wieder die Verbindung.

Firefox hängt sich immer wieder auf und ist für 30 Sekunden oder länger nicht bedienbar. Da ich nicht dauernd eine Pause einlegen will ist Firefox nutzlos geworden.
Firefox hängt sich immer auf wenn ich ein Lesezeichen hinzufüge, ändere oder lösche oder wenn Firefox geöffnet ist irgendwann zufällig ohne erkennbare Ursache.
