It doesn't wipe the memory or anything off the ipod. Whenever i sync my ipod without photos or videos it works fine. It also doesn't mind me taking photos off itunes to put on the ipod. I have had a look around and a couple of people say reinstall itunes, but i don't know if i will lose all my songs and apps. Any suggestions of help?

Removing all Apple related software and reinstalling iTunes should bring all needed drivers back: Removing iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
Also check for new driver updates for Windows, especially if you have a webcam installed.
iTunes Store purchases or songs imported from CDs are saved in your My Music folder by default and are not deleted by removing iTunes. While it is highly unlikely that you will lose any contents of your iTunes Library when following these steps, it is always a good idea to ensure that your iTunes library is backed up. Skype video crashes my GPU driver and causes blue screen.

Hello,
Installed a new copy of windows and got the latest version of skype for my PC (on wich skype worked just fine, video calls, voice calls, but it was an older version. No hardware changes)
With the new skype, I , for the least, get driver crashes, and for the most, a blue screen, when I just go to options to set up my webcam.As soon as I see the square "loading" my webcam in the options, everything freezes and I get a driver crash or a blue screen.
Current specs:
i5 4440, stock clocks
2x8gb 1333 ddr3 1.5v ram, stock
R7 260x, stock
500w PSU, not the best quality, But I also tried a 1000w platinum PSU, and same resaults.
last error code I remeber from the blue screen was: 0x00000116
I know it is related to the GPU, but it doesn't have power deficiency, since I manage to run heavy games just fine.By the way, my webcam works just fine on different web sites, so it's not the webcam.
What I tried:
-Degrading to the oldest supported version by skype
-Degrading video drivers
-Using different webcams
-Installed all windows 7 64 bit updates

I would suggest uninstalling Droidcam as it could be the source of some delays assisting in causing the problem. TDR problems occur when your videocard is unable to respond in 2 seconds for a variety of reasons (heat, tweaks), forcefully resetting the card. Some people increase this delay in their registry from 2 to up to 10 seconds to give the card time to catch up so that a reset doesn't occur. Hi You may have a hardware fault take ipad to Apple Store. Ring then first to make an Appointment take box and you purchase paperwork they may give you A replacement. Before you do that Try a Reboot hold down power button & menu button hold both down until you see Apple Logo you may need to hold down for up to 30 Seconds But you may need to do this more than once. AMD 6490M driver is outdated, crashing and causing blue screen

I have hp pavilion dv6-6120se windows 7 64-bit with switchable graphics card 1GB intel 3000 and 1GB AMD radeon 6490M. The AMD graphics card driver is keep crashing and casing blue screen. I got this error from action center saying "A problem with your video hardware caused Windows to stop working correctly"(LiveKernelEvent). The AMD graphics driver is outdated and i have never received any updates for it for 3 years. AMD said that i have to contact the notebook manufacturer for GPU driver updates because i have switchable GPU. I tried to update the driver from AMD but the updates wasn't working correctly.

To prevent your system from crashing to a blue screen in the future, I recommend following the steps in this document on Computer Locks Up or Freezes (Windows 7).

IBook doesnt start anymore (red, green & blue screens)

Today at college, i just wanted to get my iBook out of the standby and nothing happened. Black screen, just the DVD inside it ran and even the restart buttons didnt work, only taking out the battery brought it down.
Then i restarted it and some grey screens came up, the a full red, a full green and a full blue screen came up, then grey again. Again, restartin via powerbutton didnt work,. only taking out the battery.
Then, after several restarts, it actually started the system and i logged on. After about 2 min the screen dimmed and from the top a black screen came up. Again, only taking out the battery got it down. That repeated several times and now the system isnt eve restarting. Sometimes it actually plays the startup sound, sometimes it just starts the fan but doesnt do anything. Pressing the alt-button worked about 2 times but still, nothing happens. When im home, i will try to insert the system disk (there is still a dvd inside...) and start from the cd but that "not-startin" seems to be a hardware problem.
And there is another problem in solving this one: My FireWire port doesnt work, that blew up mysteriously, but the Geniusses in the AppleStore could only tell me it would cost £550 to replace the logicboard...

Well the GPU in the 1.2 GB machine is a ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 these have a tendency to fail. I have one here with a bad 9200. I'm negotiating with a fellow for a used working board and should know this weekend. I have also been looking for a replacement chip since my sources tell me that this chip is also in Compaqs, IBMs and Sonys.
It's also possible that the chip needs reballing. Look for that term in these forums as well as "shim fix'. If that works it could run for a long time with that fix. If not then probably the chip went bad and since the FireWire is bad you might consider a used board. They can be found on eBay for ~ $200 or less.
BTW plugging a bad cable or device into the FireWire can cause it to blow. I have a friends external HD here that has actual scorch marks on the input chips (it also blew the FireWire port on her G4 tower).

IMovie 09 - get blue screen when trying to import from camera

I have used previous versions of iMovie without incident. Today when I tried to import some footage from my Sony TRV950 via firewire, all I get is a blue screen with the counter rolling but no import.
I can see the footage playing on my camera.
My camera is listed as DV-VCR (DV) in the import window.
Any tips?

I had the same issue with the blue screen. To resolve it I quit imovie and unplugged firewire cable. Started imovie the plugged in firewire. Created a new event, went to import, clicked play, selected add to event( the one I just created)
and it started playing and imported fine.

Grey, red, green, blue screen during startup

Hi,
today my macbook 13" unibody was working well. Then I put it in sleep mode and after it woke up I got grey, red, green, blue, vertical stripes, horizontal stripes screen. I tried to reboot my macbook and always the red, green, blue loop. I tried a cmdoption+pr boot with no results. I then tried to remove the battery and push the start button for 5 sec. but no results again.
I've tried to boot with the C button and the installation disk but I got always the red green blue loop.
What else can I do to solve the problem?

Iphone upgrade has crashed my Iphone and causes blue screen error on PC

I just tried to upgrade my software and half way through my PC crashed. It said a blue screen error had occurred.
Itunes now shows that my phone needs to be restored, but everytime I try to do my PC crashes again. This has now happened three times in 1 hour. I have Itunes v.8.0 on my pc but this hasnt been a problem till now. I am so angry that I have lost everything on my phone due to a problem like this. Can anyone advise how I can restore my phone without totally killing my laptop?

With the blue screen it can be a few things that are interifering with it. First thing unplug anything from the usb ports on your computer and if you have like a logtech webcam make sure it is unplugged and also that if it is built in disable the driver. If you are on a pc you may want to go into device manager and update your usb drivers on your computer.

Yes, its a shame. I have also contacted lenovo support hoping that they can sort out this problem. However, first response from them was 'contact your internet service provider since internet connectivity goes down'! :-/ I am hoping I have been able to get through to them now at least about where the problem lies. I wonder if anyone has tried using the laptop with the same broadcom wireless adapter with some other version of OS (linux, windows 7 etc.) and whether they still face the same problem. I haven't tried that yet. If this is just an OS / driver issue I hope someone somewhere is working on a fix! If not, I guess the only other solution would be to get an external USB wifi adapter but that is not something one would want to do when you buy a brand new Lenovo laptop. This was a big let down for me.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

Missing "msi" File and Fatal Blue Screen

I've been having problems with iTunes for some time, the main problem being that whenever i start the application up within minuets my laptop has shut itself down and displays that fatal "Blue error screen". No matter what I do this happens every time without fail. So i have tried to install the latest version of iTunes but when I do, half way through the process I'm told that "iTunes.msi" file cannot be located and the installation is canceled.
Does anyone know what to do?

If you are getting an msi error, you probably need to do an installer clean up. I will give you a method for complete removal of iTunes and installer cleanup.
Download a fresh copy of iTunes and the stand alone version of Quicktime

Download and install Microsoft Installer cleanup utility, there are instructions on the page as well as the download. Note that what you download is the installer not the program – you have to run it to install the program

If you hit a problem with one of the uninstalls don't worry, carry on with the deleting of files and folders as directed in the method.
Restart your PC.
Run the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility. (Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up)
Remove any references you find to the programs you removed - strictly speaking you only need to worry about those programs where the uninstall failed.
restart your PC
Install the stand alone Quicktime and check that it works.
If it does, install iTunes.
If this doesn't fix your blue screen porblem, you need to post the error message in full together with any file name mentioned.
The error message should be some sort of numbers and text -
0x(zeros/letters/numbers) (CAPSANDUNDERSCORES)
For example:
Stop 0x05 (INVALIDPROCESS_ATTACHATTEMPT)
if you're not seeing a blue screen (or just a flash of one), you can use this technique to make hidden blue screens appear:
1) Open your system control panel (Start->Control Panels->System).
2) Select the "Advanced" tab.
3) Click the "Settings" button in the "Startup and Recovery" section
4) Verify that under "System Failure" the "Automatically restart" checkbox is not checked.
