IMovie "installed" but not showing up

Newbie Mac user, just downloaded Imovie11, app store says its installed, but I don't see it anywhere? I'm sure it's a quick thing... can someone help? Thanks!

Before this happened, every time I would download the latest version of Flash it would show up in Chrome Plug-Ins. I have Version 17 installed but it's not showing up anymore, there's only 1 file when there used to be 2...and when I attempt to watch a video that requires Flash it tells me to upgrade when I already have the latest version... It looks like you have the correct Flash Player and that it's enabled. Since you have Flash Player, usually the thing that's going on is that the website either has faulty code that detects the presence of Flash Player (each website has code that does this), or if you're seeing it everywhere, it's typically a plug-in or extension that prevents that kind of code from working as written.
Have you installed any ad-blocking or anti-tracking plugins (AdBlock Pro, Ghostery, etc)?
In rare instances Chrome can get damaged, but a fresh install will usually clear that up. That's the nuclear option though.

App says installed but not showing up on homepage

I have purchased certain apps and it says installed, but they are not showing on homepage

There is a limit of 11 homepages after which apps are only accessible via the iPad's spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right) - if you do have 11 screen then you can make more apps 'visible' by using app folders.
If you have less than 11 screens, then have you got an app age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding them ?

Illustrator installed but not showing in "your apps" in CC app

I am the Admin for 8 seats of CC, downloaded Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator & Acrobat, all show in the CC app apart from illustrator, I have tried signing out and back into CC and quitting the app, to refresh the app it'self but have had no luck, is there a issue with just this app not showing or are other people experiencing this also, if so did you find a fix?
edit: it shows : "YOUR APPS (3)" when in fact there are 4
Problem Solved:
I had to goto CC App, and re-download illustrator, then to app rpefs, account, signed out again
quit the app, sign back in, illustrator now shows in "YOUR APPS (4)"

Extensions installed but not showing in DW8

I have recently upgraded to DW8 from MX and a lot of the
extensions that I became comfortable with using don't seem to be
available to me anymore. I have installed them and the extensions
manager is showing them as active, but I just can't locate them in
DW8.
How can I get them to show again so that I can use them? Has
anybody else had the same problem?
Have some extensions lost compatibility with DW8?
I did post this in the extensions forum, but I didn't get a
reply!

WPC installed but not showing up in KM configuration

We just installed WPC 7.0 SP 14 patch 4 on our portal server. The installation went well, and I can see the WPC component in system configuration, but I do not see its configuration screens in KM. For example, when I go to System Administration -> System Configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Content Management, I should see a link to Web Page Composer. That link is not there.
We never saw this behaviour in our Dev and QA portals when we installed WPC. The only different between our Dev\QA portals and production is that production is a clustered environement.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this issue?

Hi Andrew,
You have to assigh a WPC Editor Role to access the WPC. After adding the role you can able to access WPC where you can design and publish web pages.
Those webpages are automatically saved in KM. You can access these WPC contents in \entrypoint repository.
Check by doing this. Whther you can do it.

Winamp toolbar's installed but not showing up in Firefox

I just installed Winamp on my Laptop. When I opened Firefox, cause I had used Chrome to download, it gave me the option to add the Winamp toolbar but I goofed and hit cancel, or decline, by accident and now I can't get it to come up. I can't find anything that gives me the option.When I right click near the top and it gives the options to select the toolbars you want to show, there's notjing.
I've tried everything, I believe. I even tried uninstalling Winamp and the Winamp toolbar and it still isn't working. How on earth can I get it to work? Anybody?

When you go to Finder >Application >Numbers do you see an iCloud icon and an "On My Mac" file option?
Maybe they are still "On My Mac"??

Apps Installed But Not Showing Up

I've downloaded and installed Premiere, Audition, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver on Creative Cloud, yet Dreamweaver is the only app that appears on my computer. The other apps are nowhere to be found. What's going on?

Adobe Flash plugin installed but not showing up

Since 2-18-2013, my Adobe Flash Player is neither appearing as being installed with FireFox19 ... NOR does it work on any website other than the Adobe "verify" page. I have:
a. Removed Flash Player and rebooted
c. Reinstalled Flash Player from download location; rebooted; restarted FireFox.
d. Removed latest flash player (per "c" above); rebooted.
e. Downloaded a older version of F/P, rebooted, restarted.
Bottom line: No Flash Player works.
When I (somehow) navigated to the "about:plugins" there is NO Flash Player.
HELP ... I'm a senior and so frustrated now.

My problem is exactly the same as the first poster. No doubt if I started a new question there would be someone telling me "that questions already been asked". The point is those solutions and all the solutions suggested on firefox support aren't working for this problem. That this occurred only with the new version of firefox is indicative of a deeper problem specific to this build.

Installed fonts not showing up in Font Book or other apps

I am having an issue where fonts will install, but not show up in Font Book.
I go into Font Book, go to File > Add Fonts..., navigate to a font file and click Open, the validating and installing windows will flash by, but the font will not appear in the list of All Fonts. The file will show up in ~/Library/Fonts/, but not in Font Book or any other apps.
Any clues as to what the issue is and how to fix it?

I had thought of that, but they literally are nowhere to be found in the All Fonts list. I've looked through the entire list, as well as searching for the font, but nothing.
The Windows font was a font was a completely separate family not found on my Mac at all.
I tried installing different set of fonts (ran them through the Validator and then clicking install when they all checked out), and got the following in the console:

Installed but not found on computer

I've successfully installed the latest 10.1 for my 64-bit laptop with Windows 7. A check by Adobe confirms that it was properly installed, and that I have the correct version for my computer.
AND YET, there is no icon for it anywhere, it doesn't come up on my list of Programs, when I enter "Adobe Flash Player" in the search bar it shows no such program, and when I try to play a FLV file, it won't give me Flash Player as an option. So..... I have it on my computer, but I apparently am not allowed to see it or access it?

Yes, I read his comments and I made sure Shockwave Flash Object was enabled in IE as he suggested. I am trying to make a flip book. One of the posts here in the forum said to make a SWF file, which I did. But now I can't figure out how to do anything with it. I thought Flash Reader was the right program to look at it, but maybe I'm wrong? Maybe I need Flash itself? The flip book thing has me pretty frustrated and confused. All the sites and software I've tried are poor quality. I was hoping I could figure out how to do it through Adobe to get better quality.

Hi, Flash Player is a browser plugin, not a stand alone Player. You should have Shockwave Flash Object in add ons in IE and make sure it is enabled.
Your Flash files are in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
You may want the Adobe Media Player:http://www.adobe.com/products/mediaplayer/

Are the apps checked to be synced to the iPod and did you click on the sync button in Tunes?
Were the apps purchased fro the same accoubnt signed into in the iPod?
Are the apps compatible witht he iPOd model and iOS version?
Do you have restrictions set that prohibit instaling apps?
