IMovie "mobile" format does not work on iPad

I created several movies with iMovie and shared them via MobileMe. Each movie was rendered in the "mobile" format. When attempting to view the result on my iPad I received a message telling me there is a problem with the format of the movie and that I should discuss with the gallery's owner. After a brief discussion with myself, I decided to re-publish the movie in the "medium" format. It works.
Interesting that the "mobile" format works on my iPhone.

Link in pdf-file does not work on Ipad

With my site www.bartkuijer.nl I offer visitors the free possibility to see (and download) sheetmusic, from music written by me. These are pdf-files. But they can not only SEE the sheetmusic; the music on that pdf-files can also be PLAYED. That's done bij clicking on a link in that pdf-file to a mp3-file of the music on my site.
This works fine on a pc. When I try this on the Ipad of my wife it DOES NOT WORK!
So my question is: how come? And what to do to make this work also fine on an Ipad.
This is important for me, because I want this sheetmusic to place as Ipad-apps for free.

But not with a pdf-file. The Ipad does not recognize links in a pdf-file.
Te solution is found by making a htm-file with emdedding a quicktime-player and images of the music. This is my first Ipad product. On a pc the player starts immediately; on the Ipad it has to be started.
Now I have to work on a solution to change this to an app

After logging in to this group, the reply link does not work on either my ipad 2 running IOS 8.1.3 nor my iphone 4 running 7.1.2. Not helpful really. I have had to switch on my old laptop.Also I never know which group to post a new question in, The names like Snow Leopard dont really give me a clue, so if the key word does not find an existing topic, i just end up guessing.

Monster iezclick does not work with iPad 3

I am trying to use monster iezclick to remote control my iPad 3.
It does not work and volume just stop.
It does work with old generation iPods.
Any idea what is wrong ?

Adobe Reader highlight does not work in IPAD app

For some reason the highlighter tool in my Adobe Reader IPAD app does not work, any one have advice on this?

Are the pdf files in which you are trying to highlight are scanned copies?
Also are the pdf files password protected?
In password protected files user is not allowed to add any comments.

Synchro does not work between Ipad, Iphone and Mac

I have an IMAC, iPhone 5s and an Ipad all with the last IOS version and synchro does not work at all.
My iCloud address is not with iCloud but with hotmail.
I dod not get any suitable answer from the retailers in Budapest.
Does anybody have an idea? Thank you.

Today I have experienced an issue regarding the HTML5 output of a project.
In my project, I have three questions slides (without reporting), used for self-evaluation only, and six quiz slides. If the quiz is not passed, users can retake the quiz - and the Retake button leads to the first quiz slide (and not to the other questions slides.
I have managed this by creating a user variable "v_b", which is assigned with 1 as soon as the user reaches the results slide. Then, on each self-evaluation question slide, there is a check "If v_b is greater or equal to 1, then jump to the first quiz slide". (Followed this blog post: Excluding Knowledge Check Questions when Reviewing/Retaking the Quiz « Rapid eLearning | Adobe Captivate Blog)
Everything works just fine as swf, but the HTML5 version on the iPad does not assign "v_b" with one. It always brings me to the wrong slide after clicking the "Retake" button.
Does anyone know this problem or is able to recommend a workaround?

Ok, I already have this version, but as I was looking for the version for my previous post it told me still 7.0.0.118
Now opened my project again and the correct version was displayed - strange. Will check the output again, ensuring that it is from 7.0.1 and let you know.

Help! Slideshow Autoplay does not work on ipad content viewer.

I created a dps app using Adobe Creative Cloud on a PC running Windows 8. It has a multi-state object of text to fade in and out. It works properly on a windows tablet but not on my ipad. I'm aware this question has been asked before and I tried all of the suggested fixes and none have worked for me. Are there anymore bug fixes.

Darn, I was hoping you could read my mind, lol. The problem is I created an article in DPS that has 4 multi-state objects on one page. 3 of the multi-state objects (button-like icons that change color when you tap/swipe them) are set to tap to play, the 4th multi-state object, a slideshow with 7 states each containing text that's supposed fade in and out 1 by 1 on a loop, is set to Autoplay upon article opening. This all works great on the desktop preview and once its downloaded to Adobe Content Viewer on my Windows Tablet. However, when I download it to the Adobe Content View on my iPad and try to run the same app the 3 tap to play icon buttons work fine but the multi-state text Slideshow will not autoplay. It will only show the first state (which is a text box). I'm using Adobe Creative Cloud Indesign to create the article on a pc running Windows 8. I recently ran updates on my adobe software. Any insight???

MOBILE VERSION DOES NOT WORK!!!! Is Adobe not aware that encrypted forms fail using mobile reader??

I created a PDF Form in Acrobat Pro 9, and encrypted it with a password. No other restrictions were placed on the document.
When I open the document on an android device (tablet or phone) or an iPod, it does not allow me to fill in any of the fields or apply a signature of any kind.
However, when I open the same exact form with the desktop version (Reader XI), it does allow me to fill it out and sign it with no problem.
I have no problems filling it out and applying a signature with a mobile device when the document is not encrypted.
PLEASE HELP!

Yes, apparently Adobe is aware of this.
For Adobe to omit such basic functionality to its mobile version is appalling.
I would have expected this from Microsoft, but not from Adobe.

ITunes 10.6.3 for Win7 64 bit does not work for iPad apps

I have downloaded and installed iTunes 10.6.3 64 bit for Window 7 four times - and re-installed 3 times. When it asks if I would like to repair, I way yes. This does not correct the problem. I have an iPad 2 w/ 3G and Wi-Fi.
My problem is that while the iTunes on my Windows PC (running Windows 7 Professional, w/Service Pack 1 - 64-bit) will start, and will show my iPad when the iPad is connected, when I click on the iPad listing, and then on the Apps tab - this feature is basically unusable. This screen shows the basic Home Screen - with all icons dimmed, and then smaller versions along the right side of the basic home screen and my 2 others I've created.
1. All of the home screens shown - and all icons - are dimmed.
2. There is no list of apps along the left side.
3. Clicking on any of the home screens or on any of the icons does nothing.
Therefore I'm not able to choose any apps to sync from the iPad to the PC - nor am I able to re-position any of the apps from one screen to another.
4. Clicking on the Sync Apps button on top left - says "All existing apps and their data on the iPad will be replaced with apps from this (the PC's) iTunes Library. In other words, the only thing I can do is sync from my PC to the iPad - thereby wiping out any new apps on the iPad.
5. Clicking on the Sync button in the lower left does nothing.
So basically, there is no syncing from my iPad to the PC -- period.
HELP!!!
(Oh - also when I connect my iPad, it says there is an update to the 5.1 operating system and would I like to update, but when I say Yes, it warns that I have purchased software on the iPad that has not yet been transferred to iTunes and I should do that first. But of course, since I can't sync, I can't do that first.)

I've also got a similar problem. I upgraded yesterday & today I find (mainly with previously purchased tracks) that iTunes only playes about 51sec of a track. The whole track plays when using "Quicktime" but this doesn't help me when I'm trying to put together a playlist.
Can anyone out the help?

I have made a website with dreamwaver CS 5,5 and everything working just fine, but on a Ipad it is sometime problem to open page in the drop meny? Is there anybody who can tell me why it is so? is there any solution ?

We would need to see your page to give you an exact answer, but many times, in the older versions of DW, this is caused by using the Spry menu system. Spry was dropped by Adobe in 2012 because it was showing its age and didn't work all that well with touch devices.
You may need to replace your menu system with something a bit for mobile friendly like a jQuery menu system or a pure CSS menu. There are many, many free options available for both of those online if you do a Google search, but if you're not used to doing any kind of coding, purchasing the Menu Magic extension from Project VII may be the way to go.

HDMI adapter does not work on IPad 2. Not unique to this cable or to my ipad

I bought the apple branded HDMI adapter for my new IPad 2. When I plug it in it will give me a black screen and will, at most, very very sporadically flash the ipad screen for about one second then go back to black. Before assisting please read below to see what I have tried already:
I tried the cable on 2 different IPad2s and an original IPad.
I tried a different cable of the same design on 2 different IPad2s
I tried using both cables on two different tvs and using two different hdmi cables
I also tried powering off
I also tried running for-sure-supposed-to-work apps (although the IPad2 should mirror so that was unnecessary too).
I took to the Apple Store and they had no clue what was going on either. Anyone know if this adapter is just a defective product in general? What other things can I do to put my IPad on the tv...it was a large part of why I bought it.

Don't know if this will help, but this is the procedure I use to get mine to work:
Insert HDMI cable into TV port.
With TV on, select input to HDMI port on the TV that the cable is connected to.
With the iPad in sleep mode attach adapter with HDMI cable and power adapter connected to iPad.
Turn iPad on (take out of sleep mode).
This works for me every time.
Also heard that a while ago Apple produced a batch of bad HDMI adapters. This could have happened again or not all the bad ones got sent back.

Lync 2013 mobile app does not work internally, SIP domain is Different than users UPN. not sure if that matters.

using the lync client connectivity tester on a pc on the same lan as my mobile client everything is green and it says its ready for use.
using my android galaxy s5 client on wifi on the same lan i get a screen with waiting to sign in spinning and an error at the top "we cant connect to the server check your network connection and server address, and try again."

some errors that stand out from this log file are:

i am using the correct creds, same creds i used on the analyzer tool.
in the analyzer tool i did have to fill in the username field because my sip domain is different then my users UPN. which from what ive read its required to use the username field.
i also filled in the username field in the mobile app with domain\username

I am trying to configure a reverseproxy on my netscaler which is in a 2 arm mode(dmz/internal) but I keep getting an error when configuring the monitor.
i used this guide to configure it

but continue to get this error in the netscaler monitor "Failure - TCP connection successful, but application timed out"
so the virtual server is never up, thinking about just changing it to tcp as a monitor so it stays up and i can at lesat get the vip up.
Also your link to the diagram shows it going to the reverse proxy but the one im using has it going directly to the front end servers.

ITunes photo synchronization does not work with iPad

Hello,
I have an iPad and wanted to synchronize pictures on it. When I enable synchronization of pictures in iTunes and choose a folder and synchronize afterwards the synch finishes after 3 secounds and nothing happens.
I have an iPhone 3GS as well and there it works properly.
I tryed it with FW 3.2.2 on iTunes 9.2 and now I updated all to FW 4.2.1 and iTunes 10.1.1.4 but the problem still exists.
I deleted the picture cache from the folder (solution from another forum - same problem on a mac) but it doesnt change anything.
I know how to use the synchronization from my iPhone. I hope someone knows the problem and have a solution for it?

Here is what solved my issue: I signed in iTunes Store (it's sad that a credit card is required for that) and then downloaded the Album art work from inside the iTunes application. Next time i had the external drive unmounted, when the screensaver went on it showed the album artworks like a charm.
So, my piece of advice for those that do not want to sign in iTunes Store is to copy the contents of the Cache directory (located under ~/Music/iTunes/Album Artwork) into the Download directory (located under ~/Music/iTunes/Album Artwork again). I haven't tested, but it could work.

IMovie HD suddenly does not work right.

I am currently working on an iMovie HD project. All of a sudden, the clip menu is acting strange. Whenever I scroll down, it just stops at the exact same point in the menu every single time. Then it takes forever to scroll back up and I can't scroll any farther down or select clips. Either that, or the program crashes. It's been doing this for about a week and it's really frustrating. Has this been happening to anyone else?

Are you low on hard disc space? If your hard disc is more than 90% full, then your computer may act strangely.
