Imovie wont open because of razer audio plugin

Since the newest imovie updated I cannot open it. I Get an error that says quite unexpectedly because of the Razer Audio plugin. The only Razer software I have is for my mouse. As far as im aware it has nothing to do with Audio, and I movie worked fine with it before the update. Any fix ideas other than uninstalling my mouse?

I am unsure what operating system you are running so I am going to include articles for Windows XP and Vista, 7 and 8. Completely uninstall all components of iTunes and then reinstall the program.

Many people have been having the same problems this week because of he update. Someone on the forum mentioned uninstalling "Bonjour". +Bonjour locates devices such as printers, other computers, and the services that those devices offer on a local network - Wikipedia.+ If you have never needed it uninstall it. You could also try typing "MSCONFIG" in the Run selection under the accessories folder and un-checking it under the "Services" tab.
I personally have had the same problems. What i did was i un-checked it on the MSCONFIG menu first and then uninstalled Bonjour.

Movie made in imovie wont open in idvd?!

so i made a little intro movie for a slideshow with the edit interface in imovie where i just added some text to a black background. i saved it and when i try and add it to idvd it wont open. im not really sure what is going on. the file is a .timovieproject so i know that it should open in idvd to "add" a movie. is there some way where i can just save it as a quicktime? thanks!

tell us how you made this black footage. was it entirely in iMovie 6? Try adding some actual video footage to the start and see if this helps, then select the black clip only ....
and share the selected clip only to iDvd. Like this:

Since iTunes uses QuickTime to play audio/video content in iTunes, that error message most likely indicates that there's a problem with Quicktime installation.

To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store you can find it in your Purchases List.

IMovie wont open a saved library

I saved my iMovie project onto USB from iMovie version 10.0.4
I took it to University to work on it, but the iMovie available is 10.0.1
It won't let me open the project I'm working on because apparently it's an 'older' version.
I don't understand why this is, after all it's not like either of the versions are 9 or older; they are both version 10s.
Because it's a University computer, it won't let me update the iMovie to the latest version (in fact the update isn't even showing up)
What can I do to be able to edit my movie on the University Mac? I really need to.
