Question

Hi all
i am loading data from ods1 to ods2. the data in ods1 is as follows
billno item      type  sign     value
1     1     X     P     7
1     1     X     N     3
1     1     X     N     3
1     1     Y     P     2
2     1     X     P     2
2     1     X     N     2
2     1     X     P     9
for each combination of Billno and item ,
for every record where type =X , i have to
all all values where sign equal to p to pupulate
ods2 field 1 and all values where sign is N to
populate ods field 2.     
i.e my output should be
billno item      kf1p      kf2n
1     1     7     6
2     1     11     2

Hi,
Create an ODS2 with key field as bill no and item. Create 2 key figures and in the update rules set the update mode to "Addition". In the start routine write:
DELETE DATA_PACKAGE WHERE type <> 'X'.
In the update routine of the 1st key figure write,
If COMM_STRUCTURE-sign = 'P'.
RESULT = comm_structure-value.
ENDIF.
In the update routine of the 2nd key figure write,
If COMM_STRUCTURE-sign = 'N'.
RESULT = comm_structure-value.
ENDIF.
