Impact of Fixed date and Delivery

Dear All,
I can see a check box "Fixed date and Delivery" in Scheduline category" tab in the Item level of the Sales Order.
I am not sure about the impact of this check box.
I thought, if this check box is checked, system will allow to create delivery on this particular date only. But system allowed me to create deliveries after this date also.
Then what is the exact use of this check box.
Could anyone explain.
Regards,
Mullairaja

Hi Raja,
this check box is used,
suppose you have created the sales order and then schedule line has appeared in SL tab page that means it has proposed the date of delivery date and to fix the MRP from schedule line date.
that means if you are indirectly stating to the system that, these lines go on that date only and dont change the date of SL if RE-ATP check happens.

  • Schedule Lines - fixed Date and Qty checkbox

    Hi Experts,
When an order is placed, on the schedule line tab there is a check box for a fixed date and qty. Can this only be set manually or can it be set by customer number.
    Thanks in advance.
    Mike

    Hi,
When the availability check will happen in that screen you can see fixed date and quantity If you check that it will automatically copied in schedule line .
If you leave the field blank, the delivery date and confirmed quantity are not fixed. If you are able to expedite either the manufacture or purchase of goods, you may be able to deliver the goods closer to the customer's original request (and sooner than the date the system confirmed).

  • Fixed Date and Quantity for Sales order

We have Requested Delivery Date in our order entry page in CRM ISA. This date is transferred fine to R/3 with the sales order.
We want to flag the "Fixed Date and Quantity" field in schedule lines of the order in R/3 when the order is replicated to R/3.
We also want to restrict the order specific to particular organization for which the fixed date and quantity is flagged when the
    order is replicated
Any ideas on how to achieve this?

thanks Rajesh..But I would like to do in a sales order without doing going to any other transaction. Can I assume that this is a gap and we need to code in user exit to trigger 413 movement type.

  • Fixed date and qty in slines

    Hi,
In schedule lines tab page (double click on item)
We have filed in the left hand side fixed date and fixed qty what is the imp to that filed where we maintain that setting (if I want see in configuration where can I see ..pls argnt………

    Dear Murli,
You can see the configuration using the following path:
SPRO> Sales and Distribution>Basic Functions>Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements>Availability Check-->Define Default Settings.
The use of the above settings is as follows:
For each sales area which is a combination of sales organization, distribution channel and division, you can set an indicator for fixing the date and quantity as well as a rule for transferring the results of the availability check.
    - Fixed date and quantity
In this field, you specify for a sales area whether the delivery dates and delivery quantities confirmed after an availability check should be set.
    - Rule for transferring the availability results
In this field, you can specify the system response to shortage for a sales area. The following responses are possible:
The system displays the different options (for example, one-time delivery, full delivery) for selection in a dialog box.
The system automatically chooses an option (for example, confirmation of a delivery proposal).
    Hope the above helps you.
    REWARD if it helps you!!

  • Delivery not before date and Delivery not after date

    Hi Everyone,
Can anyone help me in this issue, we need to map "delivery not before date" and "delivery not after date" from an EDI 850 into a sales order.
Are there any fields to which we can map the data? if not would anyone suggest how to go about it?
    Thanks,
    Michelle.

    Michelle,
We have a similar requirement, albeit we call it a Delivery Window. We have implemented this by mapping two E1EDK03 qualifiers (we use 033 & 034) to two Z fields extended to VBAK, which we then include in our Sales Order Delivery Date logic.
Not very elegant, but then my understanding is that SAP has no concept of the Delivery Window.
    Cheers, Paul.

  • Req. delivery date and Delivery date should be same in a sales order

    Hi experts,
We need a customization for getting Requested delivery date, Material Availability date and Delivery date should be same.
Example if I keep request delivery date as 12/12/2012, system should consider same dates for MAD and Delivery and confirm the requested quantity.
    How to achieve this customization..
    Thanks,
    Bala.

system should consider same dates for MAD and Delivery and confirm the requested quantity
What you are going to achieve by this?  Hope you know the concept of MAD and confirmed quantity fields.  Let us assume, if stock is not there for a material for which sale order is created, can you let me know, you want the system still to confirm the quantity? You can post the goods issue only if system confirms the quantity in schedule line which is possible, only if stock is made available.  If client asks something which is not possible in SAP, think in a logical way how SAP works and convince them accordingly.

  • Store Replenishment STO created date and delivery date

    Hi
    The Store replenishment STO generated out of WRP1 ;
The  STO document date and delivery date is defaulted to 3 days later.
ie. WRP1 was run on 31st May.  But the delivery date and the STO doc. date is 3rd June.
Is there any way to influence this?  We want it to be defaulted to the next date;  Replenishment is to be run for th next date.
    ie. June 1st.
    Regards

    Hi Carlos
The master data of the article field MARC-PLIFZ- is maintianed as 0 days.
Basically the replenishment is done in the same day.  (DC in the same city as the store)
However still the delivery date in the STO is by default 3 days later.
In the WRP1 screen - the  planning date is today date.

  • How to List Sales Orders based on Creation Date and Delivery Priority

    Dear all,
How can we list Sales Orders based on creation date and delivery priority.
I tried using vl10a transaction code, but there we can see sales order based on delivery date.
we need to list all sales order based on delivery priority and sales order creation date.
can any one of you tell me which standard report gives such kind of report. Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.
    Thank you
    Raghu Ram

    Hi Raghu,
There is no st report available as per your req.
Using SQVI, you develope one report that is list of sales orders based on your req.
SQVI is used to convert a Quick View into a query.
    Quick Viewer:
The Quick Viewer allows you to define reports without having to program yourself. The Quick
Viewer is especially useful for new users and occasional use.
Quick Viewer is a tool for generating reports. SAP Query offers the user a whole range of options for defining reports. SAP Query also supports different kinds of reports such as basic lists, statistics, and ranked lists. Quick Viewer, on the other hand, is a tool that allows even relatively inexperienced users to create basic lists.
Quick View definitions are user-dependent. You can transfer a Quick View into SAP Query in order to make reports, for example, accessible to additional users, or to use the other functions available in SAP Query.
The following is a comparison of Quick Views and queries:
Quick Views possess the same functional attributes as queries. However, only basic lists may be defined with Quick Views.
In contrast to queries, no user group assignment is necessary with Quick Views. Each user has his/her own personal list of Quick Views. Quick Views cannot be exchanged between users. Quick Views may, however, be converted to queries and then be made available to other users in a specific user group.
Info Sets are not required for Quick View definition. Whenever you define a Quick View, you can specify its data source explicitly. Tables, database views, table joins, logical databases, and even Info Sets, can all serve as data sources for a Quick View. You can only use additional tables and additional fields if you use an Info Set as a data source.
The Quick Viewer uses various controls. Certain hardware and software requirements must also be fulfilled before you can use the Quick Viewer.
To define a Quick View, you select certain fields according to your data source that determine the structure of your report. The report can be executed in basis mode with standard layout or may be edited using drag and drop and the other toolbox functions available in WYSIWYG mode.
Reports created using the Quick Viewer may also be passed to external programs (Excel, for example).
Call the Quick Viewer using System -> Services -> Quick Viewer (or transaction SQVI).
Enter the name of the Quick View. Quick View names can contain a maximum of 14 characters.
    Choose Create.
Enter a title for the Quick View and remarks, if you think they are relevant.
If you do not want to base your list on a table, use the possible entries pushbutton in the Data source field to select another data source. You can choose logical databases or Info Sets. In addition, you may also create table joins. For further information, see Selecting a Data Source.
Choose Basis mode if you want to create the list directly with no list design. Choose Layout mode if you want to define the layout of your list yourself.
SQVI Table Quick viewer – Used to created quick client dependent reports
Probably the easiest and most flexible way to do this is thru one of the ABAP query transactions.
Transaction SQVI can do this and it has a very good help function that explains how it works... the drawback is that it is only for one user.
You can play around with it and see if it meets your needs...
The query results will come back in an ALV Grid or Excel... you can select what fields are returned, and have a selection screen to enter the search criteria.
You can get the report by joining the tables VBAK and VBAP.
If you have any queries, i will forward screen shots to your id.
    Reward points pls.
    Regards,
    Govind.

  • Credit release ignores Fixed date and qty and re-schedules the line

    Hi,
If I create an order with the following schedule:
    date                 conf qty
    24.10.2008     110
    25.11.2008     89,889
    25.12.2008     10,000
Fixed date and qty is checked
Save the order (its credit blocked)
Then look back and the confirmed qty shows 0 (as expected)
Then credit release the order in VKM1 or VKM3 and look at the schedule lines they have changed!
    24.10.2008   110
    25.11.2008   99,889
The system realised it could deliver some earlier than my schedule.
However the reason I checked "Fixed date and qty" is because the customer wanted the goods delivered as per the original schedule.
When you set this indicator it protects the lines from automatic re-scheduling (trans V_V2) but it seems the credit release screen ignores the indicator
    How do we fix this?
We confirmed the dates to our customer as per the original schedule so if we deliver them before this date the goods will be refused.
    Many thanks
    Rob

    Hi Tom,
One down effect is that the order will not enter into the rescheduling, the system considers it irrelevant. So if you are using the rescheduling functionality and want the order to be part of it, then you should consider this.

  • Where does the data come from which powers the ship date and delivery date

    Hi All,
Please let me know, where does the data come from which powers the ship date and delivery date?.
    Adi.

    Hi,
DELIVERY DATE  will be maintain in the SALES DOCUMENT TYPES in VOV8 in the tab REQUESTED DELIVERY DATE/PRICING DAE/PURCHASE ORDER DATE.
The field is PROPOSE DELIVERY DATE .
If you check the field then the document created date will be the Requested date and will be carried from ORDER TO DELIVERY.
If you want the delivery date other thann the CURRENT date then you have to maintain the LEAD TIME in days in the same tab.
SHIP DATE: is the date on which you do the PGI in the delivery .
Please check them and revert back if u need further details

  • Significance of pricing date and  delivery date.

    Hello guys,
Can any one explain the significance of  pricing date field in
                 1) Sales order
2)Details screen of Condition type .in v/06 screen
                 3) Copy controls.
    Regards,
    k.Vivek

    Dear K.Vivek,
    http://sap-img.com/sd013.htm
Pricing date based on delivery date
    Used transaction VOV8.
This configuration is by order type.
There is a field called proposal for pricing date.
There you can select pricing date as requested delivery date.
A - Proposed pricing date based on the requested dlv.date (Header)
This control is set at the document level as oppose to the condition type level (PR00).
That means your other condition types such as surcharges and discounts are also determined using the requested delivery date.
If your requirement is for PR00 to alone to be priced at delivery date then this will not work.
How pricing date is determine in the sales order and billing document? Where is the setting?
The pricing date is proposed based on the setting you make in the Sales document configuration. ( T code : VOV8)
You have a field" Prop.f.pricing date " in the Requested delivery date /  pricing date /  purchase order date  segment.
Then you can choose the follwoing options:
Blank - Indicates the current date as the pricing date
A -  Indicates the date based on the requested delivery date
B - Indicates the date based on the order validity start from date
And the pricing in the billing document is copied from thte sales order / Delivery document..
It again depends on the setting u have in the copy control from order - billng or delivery - billing.
In the copy control, in the item settings you have two fields relavant for this.
One is pricing source and the other is pricing type.
The pricing sources are generally the order.   But if you want you can change it to other values mentioned in the drop down,
but this values have no effect if the pricing type is B.
Any other value other than B in the pricing type will take the reference document price mentioned in the pricing source field.
but for the pricing type B.  The new price is determined in the billing order.
    Hope this will help.
    Regards,
    Naveen.

  • Obiee 11g - Formula between fixed date and variable date

Need some advice please, I’m trying to modify a campaign report for Marketing so we can track over different periods of time. For example
Start Date +7 days (all volume within this period)
Start Date +28 days ( all Volume within this period)
And so on and so on….
BUT I’m struggling to use a formula that will do this. The start date for a campaign will always be different hence why we want capture everything between Start Date + (what ever number of days are set). In the report we have a start date, campaign name and number converted to application (Measure). Any help here would be brilliant lol. At the moment when we go into the report, it gives us the measure count to date. We just want to split it down over different periods basically.

I assume we are talking about PCR for payroll. In this case look at documentation for operation NUM:
    OOOOOO
    Xnnnnn
    X     Table
    nnnnn Table field
nn    Date type 'nn' from the Date Specifications infotype (0041)
Date types are taken from table T548Y.
    Your operation would look like:
      NUM=Faaesb
F          Fixed indicator for deadline calculation
aa           Date type: Start date of period to be
calculated; if the date type is not 'nn,'
the second position is left blank.
e          Unit, in which the duration is calculated:
                        T = days
                        W = week
s         End date of period to be calculated:
(blank)  End of current payroll period
J        End of current calendar year
A        Start of current calendar year
              B        Start of WPBP period
             No other specifications are possible.
So it depends on what kind of fixed date you need.
    Hope it helps,
    Carlos.

  • Compare Actual PGI date and Delivery date

    Hi SAP Guys,
I want to compare delivery date and actual PGI date. In likp having so many dates which date should I compare with Actual Pgi date. My requirement is identify the back dated PGI and delay PGI. Here I have seen created on date what the use of this date. Please guide me above issue.
    Regards
    Venkey

    Hi there,
Created date is the date on which the delivery is created.
Delivery date is the confirmed delivery date that is porposed after the availability check. It is same as delivery date at item level in SO.
Actual GI date is the date on which GI is done. It is updated after PGI is done. Planned GI date is updated when delivery is created.

  • Please fix date and time formatting in Hub and Calendar

    Hello,
During initial setup I have used "English" as a setup language, but have since then changed it to "Croatian".
In BlackBerry Hub, Calendar and Lock screens day and month names are still displayed and formatted in English.
I noticed this bug briefly reported in another thread, but it is burried and not clearly visible, hence I'm putting it here by itself.
This screenshot of Hub list proves language is in Croatian, but you can see "Friday, Augus..." in the swipped BlackBerry Hub.
In addition to resolving this bug, please consider implementing "formatting" setting under "Date and Time" so that a user can pick a formatting that is indipendent of their language. For example, a short list of predefined selections such as:
    <Day name>, <Month name> <Day number>, <Year>
    <Month day> <Month name>, <Year>.
    <Year>-<Month number>-<Day number>
Thank you in advance for your consideration. Regards,
