Impact of NOT UPDATING infotype(Additional Action IT0302)

IT0302- Additional Actions are maintained, if more than one action need to be updated/maintained on the same calendar date!!
Functional: In any organization different actions (say hiring & termination & Promotion & change of Org unit & etc...) can not be done on the same day
Ex: you can not hire and terminate any employee on the same date, isn't it?
that is the reason we have additional actions for any updations required on the personnel action on the same calendar date.
Technical: It will update your records as per the personnel action you run!!

Hi experts,
I have activated the IT0302 so that the system will allow me to hire and confirm the employee at the same start date. Now I am having problem whereby the client would like to include the customer specific status and employment status at T529A. As I understand that when I had activated the IT0302, the customer specific status, employment status, and special payment's field must be blank. Is there other way where I can include the customer specific status and employment status while activate the IT0302.

Hi seniors,
I have been asked to hide the unwanted fileds in 0001-Administrator Group,Legal Person.
0002-Initianls,Nick Name,middle Name,Birth Name-.
Can i know what are the possible impact on the flow or maintenance of infotypes.
Can any body put some light on the same.

Fields In IT001, like Administrator Group and Legal Person, it is mainly for reporting and authorization purpose .
Eg :Administrator group required to sort reports according with different administrator group, sending mails - if changes made on PA infotypes mails should be send to PA administrator through dynamic actions etc
and fields in IT002, like Initianls,Nick Name,middle Name,Birth Name also required for some kind of reporting , but if you are working with India Payroll I believe hiding of these fields in IT002 will not harm

WBS element not updating in additional data of IW32

Hello, We have created a sales order with account assingment as WBS element. From this line service order will be created, but when we check the service order additional data, the wbs element field is showing as blank. What is the reason for this.

How to Configure additional action in a system where only one action is allowed for an employee in same day in IT0000, and what is the purpose of IT0302.

Hi,
Infotype 0302 Additional Actions allows you to automatically log all of the personnel action types that are performed for an employee on a specific date. It allows you to perform and document several personnel action types for an employee in the R/3 System on the same day.
You can display and edit the data records logged in the infotype Additional Actions (0302) on the list screen of the infotype Actions (0000),
In Customizing for Personnel Administration, choose menu path Setting Up Procedures -> Actions -> Set up personnel action types to specify, among other things, the following:
whether you want to use the automatic logging of personnel action types in the infotype Additional Actions (0302)
which personnel action type should be saved, that is preserved, in the infotype Actions (0000) if you perform another personnel action type for the employee on the same day.

Dto changed but database not updated

hi, i am trying to create a simple program that has an entity bean which maps to a table in database.
i created dto for the bean and i was able to find(), create(), with the database insertion of the new creation correctly. but i when i updated an attribute of the dto using its setXXX(), the database was not updated after the action.
can anyone help me with this problem? thanks!

i did some googling n found a thread that says it is the concurreny strategy issue. i tried setting it as other values except readonly but it still doesnt works. anyone can enlighten me?

AEDTM in PCL4 for IT0302 - Additional Actions

Hi All,
I am using the FM 'HR_INFOTYPE_LOG_GET_LIST' to read the log details.
How does the AEDTM in PCL4 get updated?.
I checked for IT0302, the AEDTM present in IT0302 and in PCL4 for IT0302 are different. They do not match,
What may be the reason??
Pa0302-AEDTM is not equal to PCL4-AEDTM.
Due to this incorrect log is getting created.
Any pointers in this regard would really be helpful.

Thaks, I tried that. If I take off absolutely all entries and flags, it will let me progress, however if the U0000 tick is on it will not save. At a minimum this needs to be on.
I would be interested to know if anyone's config has additional actions on for some actions and not others, and what their support pack level is.

SAP Query to join action infotype with additional action infotype

We have created SAP Query on PA0000 which shows all actions that are executed for an employee.
The problem is that if two actions are exceuted on the same day then it shows only one action instead of showing both the actions.
As two actions are executed on the same day it will be stored in additional action infotype(0302).We tried to join PA0000(Action infotype) with PA0302(additional action infotype) in SAP Query by using joins(inner join/outer join) but it shows duplicate records.
Is there any way to get additional action along with records of action infotype without any duplication in SAP Query.

All entries that are in PA0000 will be in PA0302, but not vice-versa so you just have to reverse what you are currently doing, i.e.: create a Query on PA0302 and join to PA0000, and then make sure your selection criteria is from PA0302 and not PA0000.

HRMD_A07 Idoc to update InfoType 0014 does not delimit existing PA0014 rec

In ECC 6.0, we are using HRMD_A07 Idoc to update infotype 0014 using update data received from a third party application. In XI, I am creating the Idoc with Update Code "U" with E1PLOGI, E1PITYP and E1P0014 segments. E1P0014 holds the data for the latest record.
If I directly pass the Idoc thru ALE layer, It creates records for the new date range on E1P0014 segment, but does not delimit the previous record by changing its end date. This results in two records in PA0014 with end date of 12/31/9999 - which is wrong.
I also tried using a wrapper FM to create additional segments in the Idoc representing the existing record in PA0014, with the end date being delimited to incoming record's beg. date minus 1.
This also results in just creating two additional records in PA0014 corresponding to the two segments in Idoc while existing record in PA0014 stays intact resulting in two records with end date 12/31/9999.
I also experimented with setting the lock indicator (PA0014-SPRPS) but that also does not result in delimiting the existing record.
Am I missing something? Is there a piece of config that controls this?

Can you explain how did u get over you issue.
I'm maintaining the same dates in E1PITYP and in E1P0014.

OM infotypes not updated with relatioship.

Hi Experts,
I made one LSMW to upload info types 0000 (Actions) and 0001 (Org Assignment) using batch input recording method and successfully updated PA infotypes and verified OM info types 1001 (Relationships) for those positions (S) which I assigned new holders (P).
But OM not got updated and is not showing the holder in those positions which I executed action.
Can any tell me why it has not updated OM.

u2022     RHINTE00 - Transfer PA Records To PD Positions. In another world, it creates the HRP1001 between P to S in the OM side of the world. When you view a record via IT0001, you see this person holds the position, however via HRP1001, that relationship isnu2019t so.
u2022     RHINTE10 - Generates the required relevant tables. (T513 - Jobs, T513S - Jobs, T528B - Positions, T528T - Work Center, T527X - Org Unit
u2022     RHINTE20 - checks for all objects for integration between PA and OM. This is a big one and will take awhile to run. What it does is look at table T513/T513T - Jobs, T528/T528T - Position, and T528X - Org Unit. It will then compare it against the HRPxxxx table to find missing objects. If there are any missing objects, it will create the record.
u2022     RHINTE30 - Transfer OM to PA. This will create infotype 0001. If the conversion strategy is to have SAP auto inherit factor to kick in for IT0001, often time jobs and org unit are missing via IT0001 during the inital conversion load. RHINTE30 will find the relationship and push it through IT0001.

Employee percentage not getting defaulted in additional actions

Hi all,
My employement percentage & position is not getting defaulted in 0001 - while running additional actions. I need to manually key in the percentage and in case of any promotion i need to manually key in the changed position number. Can somebody help.

your problem is because U didnt maintain intigration b/w om &pa
thats why ur getting that prob.... To make integration between PA and OM (also read as integration between PA and PD)
IMG> PA> OM--> Basic settings > integration>set up integration with PA or u can go by using table T77S0
set the integration switch PLOGI ORGA to X
Check the switch PLOGI PLOGI is marked as 01- for active plan version integration
Table T77S0 is the major table for OM - PA integration
u can do that through running the reports like;
Reports in relation to PA - OM
Report RHINTE00 is used to transfer data from PA to OM
RHINTE10 is to transfer OM data to PA tables
RHINTE30 is to update IT0001 (org assignment) for the person you have selected
RHINTE20 is to determine whether the data relevant for integration is available in PA and OM
if u maintained percentages and positions in om.... after doing integration those will default in pa

Our SPF 2010 server is relatively small to many setups I am sure. The list with the issue only has 4456 items and there are a few associated lists, eg lookups, Tasks, etc see below for count.
Site Lists
Engagements = 4456 (Errors on this list, primary list for activity)
Tasks = 7711 (All workflow tasks from all site lists)
Clients = 4396 (Lookup from Engagements, Tslips, etc)
Workflow History = 584930 (I periodically run a cleanup on this and try to keep it under 400k)
Tslips = 3522 (Engagements list can create items here, but overall not much interaction between lists)
A few other lists that are used by workflows to lookup associations that are fairly static and under 50 items, eg "Parters Admin" used to lookup a partners executive admin to assign a task.

Changes are not updating in infotype 588

Hi,
In 0001 subtype of infotype 0588 , when i try to copy the record into another or change the record,
i am changing the ESI Number ,but this new number is not updating. It is updating with same old number.
What may be the problem?
This problem is coming when i try to create the new record by copying the existing one.
If i create new record normally then it is working fine.

IDOC_INPUT_HRMD, it posts the document but does not update the Infotypes

I am trying to trigger the IDoc Type 'HRMD_A06'. This Idoc was posted successfully, with the status as '53' (inbound IDoc). The Processing Function Module is IDOC_INPUT_HRMD for the IDoc "HRMD_A06". However the infotypes are not updated. The infotypes I am trying to update are 0000,0001,0002,0006, & 0008.
If someone has a solution for this issue. Kindly let me know.
