Implement new IDNA2008 standards please!

The .de NIC (denic.de) will implement IDNA2008 from 2010-11-16 onwards,
especially allowing for ß (\u00df) in domain names. Hence, the automatic
translation of ß to ss may result in looking up the wrong domain name, allowing
for spoofing attacks.
(DENIC will run a sunrise period (2010-10-26 to 2010-11-15) during which
holders of domains with ss will be allowed top register the respective ß domain
in advance.)

ß and ss are not exchangable in German. ss instead of ß is just a makeshift. Germans expect ß to usually just work if
umlauts work (which already do for a while).
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Safari on OS X Mountain Lion or on iOS
2. Open the domain "http://www.heß.de" (a family name).
Expected Results:
Safari will change the "ß" character to "ss" and open "http://www.hess.de" which is a completely different family name (last name).
For example: "Michael Heß" and "Peter Hess".

But you will find the 12.15 Version of Opera in the Mac App Store (last checked: today).
The Version you are using is called "Opera Next" or something else and is build new from the scratch using Google's-Engine.
But if IDNA2008 is realized in the newest Chromium-Nightlys... let us hope that Apple and Mozilla will have IDNA2008-Support in the next 3-5 years...
I don't want to say anything about the IE and IDNA2008... maybe in 10+ years from now on...

Please help in implementing new GL data source 0FI_GL_40
Hi Experts,
We have implemented New GL in our landscape some time in 2007 and there was no standard extractor available to load the GL line item data into BI. So we have created a custom(RSO2) extractor and loading data into BI using it.
Now with EhPacks, SAP introduced different standard extractors and currently we are evaluating to see which one can help us to replace the custom extractor.
In our organization, we have 3 ledgers(0L - Leading Ledger, RS - Restatement Ledger and LG- Local GAAP).Daily we get around 2 million delta line items.
Started looking into 0FI_GL_40,but it is not delta capable ? how can we use it and load only delta records every night?
If you have already implemented this extractor, then please share your experience with us.

Bobby.Just because your ECC environment has been upgraded to EHP3 or EHP4, doesn't mean that the New GL Reporting is automatically available and being used. It has to be configured. Therefore, if you're planning on using the New GL Reporting DataSources, make sure that it has been configured for use in your ECC environment. This can be easily done, if you don't have a communication line with your FI functional people, you can see if data is being populated to the newly introduced table FAGLFLEXA and/or FAGLFLEXT. If there's no data in those tables, you won't be able to use the New GL Reporting DataSources.
Now, having provided that caveat, if you do have the New GL Reporting configured in your ECC environment and want accounting document item data with delta, then you should take a look at the 0FI_GL_14 and 3FI_GL_XX_SI DataSources. You can use the 0FI_GL_14 DataSource for ledger 0L (leading ledger) and the 3FI_GL_XX_SI DataSource (XX would be the ledger designation) for the RS and LG ledgers. All 3 of these DataSources would then flow into DSO 0FIGL_O14. -

To implement New GL, we are creating new company codes and migrating the data from the old company code to the new company code. In this process will there be any impact on the existing processes or created and open documents in Plant maintenance, Investment management, and ware house mangement? Which areas in these modules will be affected by the migration of data from old company code to new company code? We would be migrating config, master and transactional data.

Kanwar..Though I am no expert in IFRS, the following MM-FI interfaces may be considered in light of the IFRS changes
- Material valuation: In general Moving average prices (price control V) are used for purchased items, and standard price (S) for produced items. Inventory valuation is generally not done using LIFO or FIFO.
- Expense accounts: Check if the expense accounts determined via OBYC are the same
- COGS: Check if the nature of the COGS account is the same
- Material revaluation: IFRS mentions that revaluations should be kept sufficiently up to date (a manual process in MM)
By and large, my opinion is that there arent many changes with respect to SAP MM.

New DVI-standard doesn't fit with old Apple adapter
I bought a new MBP i7 the last week and was very surprised when i noticed that the adapter i bought (Mini Display to DVI) doesn't fit with my old adapter (DVI to VGA). Apples new DVI-adapter us the DVI-D standard and that doesn't work well with teh DVI-I standard. Is there anyone out there who know if it is possible to buy this Mini Display to DVI-I (Dual)?The Apple Mini-Displayport-to-DVI adapter is DVI-D because there is no analog signal emitted from the Mini-Displayport. The contacts the adapter lacks are the ones that would carry an analog signal, if there were any. If you want to connect your MBP to a device with a VGA input port, get a mini-displayport-to-VGA adapter.

Is there a way to run a 2005 PreSonus Firebox(with the firewire) to a mid-2011 iMac 0SX 10.7.2? It says its no longer supporting Power PC? Anything I can do without spending more money on new equipment or a new computer? Please help me.
Nevermind, I got it working.
I ended up extracting the new vob within MPEG Streamclip, which gave me an m2v and an aiff audio. I multiplexed those two back together in FFMpegX which gave me a complete VIDEO_TS folder with BUP and IFO files I needed. -
I changed my email address for my apple id but icloud still has old email adress and when I try to signout so I can sign in with new address it asks for password and then says invalid so I cannot delete the account to sign in with the new one! Please help
OK...now I appear to 'progressed' I changed my email address back to original on Apple id and then was able to delete icloud account. Apparently I couldnt do it as it kept requesting password when I entered passsword ( both old and new one, it wouldnt accept it as it had my old email address in ) It didnt do that on ios6 . Anyway I deleted account, but now I tried to login in with my new id/password and it says unable as already in use!!! More help needed please! Its a nightmare!!

I purchased an audiobook in Nov 2012 using iPhone 4S and then upgraded to iPhone 5 in Dec. Now I am not seeing the audio book in purchase history in iTunes. This means I am not able to get the book in my new iPhone. Please help.
Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store. Some basic printer troubleshooting steps before worrying about a printer driver:
1. Have you tried turning the printer off and back on?
2A. Is the printer attached with a cable?
If yes, have you tried unplugging and re-plugging both ends of the printer cable?
If that does not help, can you test the printer with another cable?
2B. If your printer is not connected to the computer with a cable, have you tried restarting your printer (assuming wireless connection)?
Have you tried restarting your wireless router?
3. Have you tried restarting your MacBook? (Be sure to save your work first.)
4. Does the printer have ink? (Doesn't usually generate a 'communications error' though)
5. Have you updated OS X or the program you're trying to print from recently? -
No logon server available for Win 7 Pro to join new 2012 Standard domain
I can't get a Win 7 Pro client to join a new 2012 Standard network. I am trying to use a Win 7 Pro computer from an old 2011 SBS FE network. I am creating the new network from scratch and got as far as setting up the new server, establishing
Internet access, and confirming that the client can ping the new server, which accepted new user credentials for the new domain added to the old client. I rebooted. Now I get the message that no server is available to service the
logon request, for all domains and all user accounts on the old 2011 client, including the individual computer "domain." I can't access anything on the client. Server still accepts the user account and password.
Unsuccessful efforts: rebooting old client; searching archives for solutions; disabling DCHP on router; and jumping out window.
Suggestions?

Payment Methods for implementing new bank

I need your expert suggestions on the below:
My Client is implementing Bank XX to replace Bank YY. At present, the client is using Payment methods 'A' for ACH Payments and 'C' for Checks with House banks "00001" and "00002" respectively for the Bank YY. We will be setting up New House Banks for the new bank.
When we implement New bank YY, can we:
1. Utilize the same Payment Methods A and C for the New bank YY.
2. What are the issues that will be encountered if we utilize the same Payment Methods.
The Client is planning to use both the Banks for a short period of time and eventually stop using the old bank XX.

If we go by the Payment program configuration then I don't think there is going to be much impact expect for the bank determination in this case as stated below.
1. You already have the payment methods A and C within the relevant country and company code - so nothing on this front.
2. You need to create new house bank 'XX' and accounts within it in transaction code FI12 (Configuration activity)
3. But for bank determination purpose you would have to rank new house bank XX with rank 1 and not rank old house bank YY (if you don't want to use it any more) or rank it with rank 2 (if you still wish to use this house bank if the available amounts within the new house banks are low).
4. Further you would also have to identify (within the bank determination tab) the bank account to be used from within the new house bank XX.
5. Further if you are using this for ACH payments then assuming the transmission of file through IDOC you need to set up the EDI partner profile for this new house bank XX and also within the EDI compatible payment methods state payment method 'A'. Both these things can be done via transaction code FI12. But for setting up the partner profile may have to take help of ABAPER who can do it via transaction code WE20 replicating same settings as for old house bank 'YY' for new house bank 'XX'.
6. For check payment method you need to set up the check lots for the new house bank 'XX' via transaction code FCHI.
I dont think further you need to do anything other than test execute the payment.
