  • To implement SAP HCM module in existing SAP ECC 6.0

    Hi,
I have SAP ECC 6.0 system already implemented 2 years back.
I am planning to implement SAP HCM with OM, PA, SAP Time management, SAP PAYROLL in existing SAP ECC 6.0 system.
I have currently 3 system landscape for SAP ECC.
I would like to know what change/addition is required in above landscape to implement SAP HCM module in existing SAP ECC 6.0
    Do share your view.
    Regards.

    Hi.
As per you, Already designed Landscape. Why dont you follow you existing Landscape which is alredy proved for other modules.
    Normally Dev/Quality/Production clients will there..
If more that depends upon flexibility in Each client and defining different business for testing and production interfaces purpose.
Better use Existing only remaining modules already sucessfully running in Production Right????

  • QCI Implementation in SAP ECC 6.0 having IS OIL

    Hi All,
I have a problem implementing QCI in my SAP ECC 6.0 having IS OIL. The SAP note 619060 details how this can be done.
The note provides the C source programs which can be compiled to build executables qci_srv executable, which will be used to register the QCI_SERVER RFC. This executable is required to be placed into the SAP kernel.
The C source programs also helps us create the astm.exe and agasap.exe executables.
May be the guidelines are pretty much clear, where i dont have a understanding is-
    how to compile these programs,
    what compiler to use,
do i need to have a programming background,
do i need to have the SAP RFC SDK kit?
I need answers on these, please help me with this, also any guidence is welocme.

    Dear Rahul,
The astm.exe and qci server methods of calculation are limited to one standard which is planned to be changed this year (2008). The implementation of the rfc server solution is also critically dependent upon many hard and software factors, a change in any one of these can result in the necessity of a re-implementation. I would recommend that the company wishing to implement the qci server take a look at our offerings [www.quantityware.com] as we are currently the only SAP-Certified integration offering for complex gas, petroleum, chemicals calculations with IS-Oil&Gas.
We offer speed, security, accuracy and multiple standards coverage all rounded off with good support.
    Best Regards,
    John.

  • Integrate with a vendor from SAP ECC 6.0 for 'PunchOut'  functionality

    Hi Friends,
Pardon me if I have made mistakes in using the terminology in my posting. We just use SAP ECC 6.0 and no SRM. We want to integrate with a vendor for so-called Punchout. Our users will click  a URL link from our Intranet and it takes them to Vendor's catalog website. They can choose items and create a shopping cart. The website will return us a unique Shopping Cart ID with list of Items in cxml format. We can use that information and create PO. We are not familiar with cxml format and how to process the PO. Is this a standard functionality in SRM ? I don't think we can install SRM since we don't have Business suite license. If any one has experience with above scenario, ie connecting to vendor's cataglog from SAP ECC 6.00 without SRM, can you pl share with us ?
    Niranjan

    Hi Masa
Thanks for the reply. The vendor supports OCI as well. However, since I was not familiar with it, I was thinking to go with cXML. When I opened the OCI pdf in the URL that you mentioned, it talks about SRM server. Like I had mentioned earlier, we don't use SRM at our company here. Can you let me know in couple of steps how OCI works and how fast we can implement in our ERP ECC 6.0 environment ? I am delighted to note that one of the companies in Japan implemented in 4 hours.
    Thanks for your help,
    Niranjan

  • Automatic creation of contract in SAP ECC from ESO

    Hello Experts,
We are installing SAP ESO 5.1, with integration package, linked to a SAP ERP 5.0 system.
With the out-of-the box integration package, it is possible to create an outline agreement (contract) from an ESO Master Agreement / Agreement by selecting Scripts -> Publish to ERP from the toolbar (this can only be done if the Master Agreement is in a "saved" state). This is a manual process.
My question is: is it possible to automatically execute this script by means of Workflow?
The goal would be for E-Sourcing to always create a contract in the SAP ECC backend system from a completed ESO Master Agreement. I believe this can be achieved by executing a script at the "saved" event?
I'll appreciate your feedback on this approach, or any other solutions you might have implemented with customers to reach a solution to a similar requirement.
    Thanks!
    Regards,
    Gilberto Gallardo

    Hi Gilberto
I would not suggest "Publish to ERP " to me made a post save script as contract managers/ buyers might "save" a draft version of the master agreement which might still need some validation. Also since a  word contract is not in place at this point in time, there might be changes later on which could make the situation rather messy.
In case you are going for approval workflows in phase definition of contract, you can use "Publish to ERP " as a postscript for workflow when contract finally is moved to executed phase but again would support Howie here that it should remain a manual process since a lot of validations would be required.
A lot depends on business on what they consider to be the culimination of CLM cycle. Few would like to start transactions through oultine agreement before actual contract is signed to speed up the process while many would like to wait for the actual signed document to be in place before starting transactional procurement.

  • Transfer of data from SAP ECC 6.0 to E-Recruitment

    Hi,
We are implementing E-recruitment . SAP ECC and E-Recruitment are running in different servers. How to transfer data from following Infotypes from SAP ECC 6.0 to E-Recruitment .
    IT0002 – Personal Data to 5102 – Candidate Information
    IT0006 – Address Data to 5110 – Address Rule
    IT0105 – Communication Data to 5110 – Address Rule
    IT0022 - Education to 5104 - Education
    IT0023 – Others/Previous Employers to 5103 - Work Experience
    IT0024 - Qualifications to 5105 - Qualifications
    Regards,
    Somi .

    Hello,
in general IT5103, 5104 and 5105 are not part of the standard distribution model. Without special customer own ALE development you will not be able to transfer these information.
Check SLG1 - application log for entries.
did you the initial data upload or did you only transfer changes?
If you did the initial data transfer be sure the user running the IDOC import has the correct rights. Be sure noone changed the usage of IT0000 STAT2 as e-recruiting expects value 3 for active employees. Furthermore be sure to be informed about the handling of hirings in future.
If you only wanted to transfer updates. PFAL is not the right way. Be sure you activated the change pointers correctly. Use RBDMIDOC. And be sure to implemet the latest Notes. There had been an error that changes were only processed in e-recruiting if at least IT0000, 0001 and 0002 were changed which resulted in problems when only IT 0006 was updated. In this case the update was not transfered to e-recruiting.
    Best regards

  • Tool or Package to run fuctionality of CRM in SAP ECC 6.0

    Hi All
My requirement is to run multiple product schemes for free goods. We have not implemented CRM in our company. I know standard SAP support 1:1 free goods functionality, but am looking for tool or package which will help me to run the process like CRM. We have implemented Multi-product free goods process( eg:- 5+1 bye any 5 material out which one material is free.) Now the business require same product with bundle schemes and one to one free goods schemes.
To achieve this process am looking for tool or package which will provide me functionality like  CRM
    Regards
    Avinash

    Hi
If I understood you correctly, you are looking for many to one and one to many relation in free goods. Right?
As you already know in standard SAP there is 1:1 ratio allowed. There is no standard functionality which can support many to many or many to one or one to many free goods in SAP ECC. This has always been done through ABAP or by using BOM functionality.
    Thank$

  • Migration of Smartforms / SAPScript forms from SAP R/3 4.7 to SAP ECC 6.0

    Dear Members,
We are in process of re-implementing SAP with SAP ECC 6.0 from SAP R/3 version 4.7
We have created many layouts using SAPScripts & SAP Smartforms in SAP R/3.
My question is, are there any migration tools available in SAP ECC 6.0 in the form of function modules, BAPI etc to convert existing forms of Smartforms / SAPScripts created in SAP R/3 4.7 to SAP ECC 6.0 ?
Or do we have to design all existing forms created in R/3 once agin in SAP ECC 6.0 ?
We request our dear members to share their views on the above mentioned problems faced by us in the re-implementation project
    Thanking you,
    With best regards,
    K. Rangarajan
    ABAP Programmer

    Dear Friend,
As per our consultant's view, we are not upgrading from SAP R/3 4.7 to SAP ECC. We are re-implementing; that is, we are going to implement SAP ECC as if we are doing it for the first time ever in our company. This is due to drastic organizational changes happend in our company. So, upgrading from R/3 is not feasible solution, according to our consultants.
So, we have to re-configure all settings in SPRO manually in ECC based on our new business scenario. There will be new company codes, plants, business area etc., which will be totally different from existing R/3 system.
But the template definitions of the existing forms maintained in SAPScript / Smartforms will remain same.
There are 50+ forms (boith SAPScript / Smartforms put together) and manual re-designing of all those forms will be tedious within the scheduled date of GO Live.
In that case, to avoid re-designing, what is the best method that can prevent manual re-design of Smartforms?
For SAPscripts, I got some good news from our some of our dear forum members.
    Thanking you,
    With best regards,
    K. Rangarajan

    Measured in System     162     119     6     287
    1.2. Performance Evaluation
The measured times are compared against reference times to provide a rating.
    - If the number of dialog steps in an hour is less than 1000 this hour is not considered.
    - If the total number of transaction steps is less than 24000, the rating for the task is not performed and a blue line is entered in the table.
The table below shows that a performance problem is expected for the task that is rated YELLOW.

    1.3. Transaction Profile Check
The following tables show the response times and the number of dialog steps for the transactions that cause the highest workload in your system. NOTE: A business transaction normally consists of more than one dialog step. As a rough estimate, the actual number of business transactions that are executed in your system is approximately one third of the total dialog steps shown. (Transaction CPIC/RFC is not taken into account.)

  • Vendor Number Range Conflict SAP ECC and CRM 2007

I need to load SAP ECC Vendor data from SAP to CRM and have setup most of the configuration as required. However I have an issue, the vendor number range used currently in our SAP system is already in use in our CRM system and has been for some time (for Prospects and Contacts).  What is the best approach to dealing with this issue...
My initial thought was to see if we could have two different numbers for the same vendor in ECC and SAP CRM
eg SAP Vendor "50000001" equates to CRM "VEN50000001"
Is such as approach supported?  Can you point me to the documentation that shows how such an approach could be implemented.  What approaches have others done to address similar issues?
    Thanks in advance
    Eddie
By the way we are on CRM 2007 sp4

    Hi Eddie,
SAP Note 1044637 - Customize Vendor Numbers
Implement the code present in the attachment. You can
change it according to your own requirements. The example code
suffixes 'VEND' before the first six digits of the vendor
number before it is downloaded to CRM.

  • Queries related to ABAP Programs migration to SAP ECC 6.0

We are planning to re-implement SAP using SAP ECC 6.0 We are currently using SAP R3 Version 4.7
Regarding migration of existing ABAP Programs and data, I have some queries which may kindly be answered by any of the experts of this forum.
    1. I have heard that SAP ECC 6.0 or SAP Netweaver 7.0 will never support BDC programs. To upload data into SAP, BAPI is the preferred option. Is that true?
    2. In ABAP Programming, relational operator < (less than), > (greater than), <= (less than or equal to) etc are not supported by SAP Netweaver 7.0. In stead, operator contants LT, GT, LE etc must be used. Other wise, SAP reports syntax error. Is thar true?
    3. Screens (Dynpros) have been fully programmed in ABAP Objects in almost all programs related to functional modules (SD,MM,PP,FI/CO etc) in SAP ECC 6.0. Is that true?
    4. Programs written in SAP R/3 Version 4.7 will report syntax errors when that program is compiled as it is in SAP Netweaver. Is that true?
I request you to kindly reply for these four queries at the earliest.
    Thanking you,
    K. RANGARAJAN
    ABAP Programmer

SAP ECC6.0 will be supporting BDC programs too.But ,apart from this there are other options like LSMW  ,BAPI,  ECATT tool
which serves the same purpose  .   It doesnot mean that SAP wont support BDC.
Coming to relational operators u can use both of them but preferred is operator contants LT, GT, LE.
If there are any obsolete statements or any Obsolete function modules used in version4.7 U will get syntax errors or unicode errors.

    Lakshman.
