I am modifying the correct httpd.conf file on the server, it just doesn't seem to work. - If I put the rewrite rules in the <Directory /> the rewrite works but it adds /Library/WebServer/Documents to the URL.
I also tried putting the rewrite rules in <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> but that did not work either.
mod_rewrite is enabled and running on the server.
I will post the rewrite rules again in the code brackets. Sorry for the long post. - If some one can try them out on their Leopard Server to see if they can get them to work, it would be much appreciated. Again, these work on my Leopard Client but I can't get them to work on Server.

Oracle Marketing & Field Sales Implementation

Hi Experts
I'm a complete newbie to CRM and Marketing & Field Sales module. Working hard to grasp and understand the architecture and implementation process of CRM and Marketing & Field Sales module.
Plz guide me to start this experience. The major questions or doubts infact which comes to my mind right now are:
1. What is the Oracle CRM architecture? I see an ocean of oracle modules in CRM, but how to go about it?
2. What is the initiation point? ... From where should i start implementing?
3. Are these modules interrelated or we can implement each module independently?
4. If i be specific for now, then i wanna implement Oracle Marketing & Field Sales module. So how should i start exploring and do i need to implement any module as a pre-requisite to implement Marketing & Field Sales?
5. I'm currently going through the Oracle Lead Management implementation docs. Am i on the right track or do i need to study something else first?
Guyz, plz clarify these doubts as without clarifying these basic fundamentals, i'm not able to completely dedicate my time and focus on the subject. Until and unless i know that what i'm studying has got the desired end-result i'm not able to concentrate properly.
Plz help me in figuring out this messy web of modules and its architecture.

Repository service implementation: custom property

Is there any sample implementation of repository service for custom properties?
I tried with eclipse PDK plug-in to create and deploy. but no success. Any pointers for repository service implementation docs ?

Hi John,
there is no deep doc on RepServices. Primarily, search on the forums. Maybe Permissions on XML Forms resources is a good starting point for you?!
Additionally, to add custom properties (I think you think about configuration properties?!) you'll have to understand the config framework and it's file structure.
For this, have a look under src.config of you project created by the wizards; watch how they are deployed; and compare other configurations you can find within CM with their corresponding configuration files. That's the best way to get behind the secrets

How to create multiple linked forms

I'm new to SharePoint. But have coding background so I'm confident I can accomplish what' I've taken up. But I need little guidance to make sure I going in right direction.
We've hundreds of project which run in parallel. Some projects are for new client, some are maintenance work on already integrated projects of old clients. Data today is stored in word documents. Requirements are in a separate set of docs & Implementation
details in separate docs. Implementation docs are living doc, where new development on existing application is appended, but requirement doc is new for every new requirement on a application.
Now the data stored is not huge, but small values, hence I want to get this onto SharePoint, which makes it more manageable & makes reporting easy. Below is what I'm thinking of building.
I'm going to use custom forms to build below 3 forms.
Form1: Project generic details. Will most probably entered only once per client, will have a summary section to refer to each maintenance release done (I'm thinking of making this as a hyperlink data or someway to link it with the actual
record from the form2).
Form2: Project implementation data. This data can be multiple set of records, hence I'm planning to have multiple records for each Project (which will have unique code) and capture data for each incremental development done on this particular
project. Project name would be unique, each incremental maintenance development will have unique reference.
Form3: Technical specification data for each project. This mostly version details of various components used. The list will help to have a quick summary or help in overall analysis of all the projects. I would like to again have a reference
to project code from form2, against which each server/new software were added.
I'm not sure if data needs to be entered in 3 forms, OR can there be a one common form which makes it easy to enter data, which can be displayed in 3 different views (as above).
Just need high level guidance of what objects I should use and if any reference material for such implementation.

I dont have access to LV 6 right now, but at least as far back as v7.1 there is a "Radio Buttons" control in the Boolean palette. This control will let you have a number of linked radio buttons and gets represented as an enum on the block diagram. If you then wire this to a case structure, you can choose desired behaviour based on the selected radio button:

GRC 10.0 Access Request workflow error

Hi,
While creating change request in AC10 to assign roles I get task errors (see example in attachment) and request does not appear in approver`s (manager stage) work Inbox.
Can anyone help and advice what can be missing and what should be checked additionally?
I`ve checked all configuration settings as described in Post-Installation and Pre-Implementation docs but still get the same error and request does not appear in work Inbox.
WF-BATCH user has assigned in GRC system roles as below:

yes it helped. Now no errors on this stage and request appeared in manager work inbox. I`ve only assigned recommended roles as first. It looks like I need to look for additional roles for both users or authorization objects which are missing for SAP standard roles to avoid assignment of SAP_ALL.

JDK 1.4.2 java applet image printing on mac safari

Hi there,
I'm trying to implement printing inside java applet using javax.print package. I read an article somewhere about the package not working perfectly under mac, and a workaround is to use the old java.awt.print to get the print services, then use the DocPrintJob to print.
The SimpleDoc I use for capturing the image that I need to print works fine, and the printServices are there. The problem I have is it's giving me an 'invalid flavor' exception when clicking 'Print' on popup PrintDialog.
It seems that the mimetype is what's causing the problem, as the printer's supported mime type is "application/x-java-jvm-local-objectref". (note that, on PC the printing works fine, with Doc flavor mimetype as image/png and the image I need to print in png format). I tried switching the flavor to SERVICE_FORMATTED.RENDERABLE_IMAGE, printing an ImageDoc class which implements Doc and RenderableImage, but 'invalid flavor' exception still occurs.
I don't know much about printers on Mac, so I'm not sure what I can do about it, is it something that can be controlled from the Applet or it's something that the user has to set in the system - the Applet can only warn the user and tell the user to do the configuration.

SwingUtilities.updateComponentTreeUI() works by first updating the UI of the given component, and then updating the component's children (and their children). So first it will update the JToolBar's UI (which installs the appropriate borders on its buttons), and then it will update each button's UI (which subsequently installs its own default border onto the button, undoing JToolBar's border installation, thanks to the bug mentioned previously).
Another possible work-around for this problem would be to write your own updateComponentTreeUI() method that updates the child components' UI's before updating the parent component's UI:public static void newUpdateComponentTreeUI(Component c)

As it is clear from your statement that you are not using Contracts and you are talking about Free Form text Shopping Carts where you can enter Prefferred Vendor. You need to implement Doc Change BAdI to convert this preferred Vendor to fixed Vendor so that after approval Shopping Cart creates a PO.
Here is the sample code we had implemented for the very same purpose

ASCP Test for Load Legacy Data

Plan to check more than one, but the result is not correct that there is cause msc_operation_components not exists.

Problem compiling module with named package

Hi,
I'm relatively new to Flex and only recently came upon Flex modules. I am trying to use an interface between the modules and my main application, both to enforce compatibility and to ease data access from the modules to the main application (i.e., the preferred approach on Adobe's module implementation docs). I am, however, running into a problem when trying to compile the module (using Ant) due to its implementation of an interface in a named package. It seems I have a choice between two compilation errors:
1) an error referring to difference between the named package structure and the unnamed package for my module
2) an interface not found error when I specify the full package name for the interface in the module "implements" attribute
#2 seemed more promising as I figured this was just some sort of source path error. After adjusting the source path many times, though, I have been unable to get past the interface not found error. I even tried to compile the interface into a SWC and then place the SWC on the library path.
Overall, the structure of the code is very simple:

If I go ahead and make IModule part of an unnamed package, I can get past problem #1 (avoid #2) and get it to compile, but then I do not have the ability to cast the child of the loaded module (ModuleLoader.child) to the interface in my main application to insure that it is of the right type (though I can hack around this by checking if the child has a certain property or function).
Anyway, I am guessing that there might be something simple that I am missing here--i.e., some way to get the named package onto the path for my mxmlc-based compilation of the module or some way to add the named package structure to my module (adding an xmlns did not accomplish anything). In any case, any help here would be greatly appreciated.

haven't made a 2.1). The download on the Flex page is always the

I am particlarly interested in the MIME type and the print attribute sets used.

Unwanted margins when printing images

All,
I have an application that loads images from a chosen directory and loads them into tabs. I then have print options. All is fine printing however there is a 1" border around the image. This seems to squish the image smaller which results in more difficulty reading.
I have aquired a PrintImage class for GIF's somewhere from the Sun site and modified it to also accept JPG and PNG. Can anyone give an idea on how set the margin attributes from this code?

To set a custom margin, you need to create a custom paper size. To do this, go into Page Setup, and under Paper Size choose Manage Custom Sizes. In the new dialog, click the plus sign at the bottom left to create a new size. Set the paper size to whatever you want (it should be 8.5X11" for letter, of course), and then set the margins to the size you need. Once you click the OK button, this paper size will now be available to choose in the Page Setup dialog.
