Implementing a relational task database with recurrence using the Outlook 2013 calendar

I am looking to implement a relational task database whereby recurring tasks are instantiated at fixed frequencies. I have a number of custom attributes that I want to assign to all tasks in
this database. Outlook/Exchange seem like they may not provide the ability to customise attributes in a powerful enough way for this purpose. However, Outlook/Exchange have powerful recurrence logic which I would like to avoid re-writing. I was wondering if
you might have any suggestions for where to look for either a third party task database product that provides recurrence or whether you think this could be sensibly built into
the Outlook/Exchange environment. Also, we are heavy users of MS CRM, so, ideally, the solution would reside there. However, unfortunately, MS CRM does not seem to have a powerful recurrence engine like Outlook/Exchange do.<o:p></o:p>

Good Idea. But I'm afraid there is no build-in function in Outlook/Exchange environment so far. Have you considered the solution from Microsoft Dynamics ?

Outlook 2013 Calendar syncing with Blackberry Q10 error

Hi, i am facing a big challenge while syncing the Outlook 2013 calendar with blackberry Q10 through Blackberry Link Software.
When syncing to BB, I get sync error "The following reoccurring event could not be synced: 13-Oct-14 - MD Mtg with Mgmt. Remove the event and sync again". The error refers to an event for a particular date. Practically, there is no such event in
outlook for that particular date.
I have tried syncing other calendars from the same outlook file successfully but failing to do with that particular calendar. I have also tried to sync the same calendar from outlook 2010 from different OS without any success. I am running Windows 7 - 64bit
OS.
I am running all latest updated patches from Microsoft and Blackberry for both OS.
This calendar is very important as it has more than 3000 event entries.
Please help me to resolve the same at earliest since the issue seems to be in particular Outlook 2013 calendar file. I suppose there could be some hidden entry for that particular date which is causing syncing to fail.

Hi,
This generaly means there is a problem with the indicated event, which cannot be sync'd to BlackBerry. You have to delete it before resyncing the calendar.
If the entry does not appear for the date mentioned in the message, it may be located on one of the historic dates according to the recurrence pattern.
Or you can use the tool of MFCMAPI to delete a hiden or corrupted calendar event:

ARM approval error after upgrading to SP14: Database error while using the secure store.

Dear GRC experts,
After upgrading GRC 10 to SP14, assigning manual passwords during the approval of a request, the approval process is failing.
Here is the scenario; your advice will be appreciated.
Task: Manually assign passwords to multiple systems contained in the request
Where: On the access request, go to “User System Details” tab
Issue: After approving/submitting the request, the error “Database error while using the secure store” is generated
Logs: Nothing on transactions SLG1 or ST22; however ST11 shows the error attached below:

Other scenarios executed as a workaround, and passed the password assignment this time:
The approval will work if only one password is assigned to any of the given systems. The rest of the systems get an auto-generated
password.
ARM also accepts multiple passwords when the requestor assigns passwords on the “User System Details” prior submitting a
request. The GRC admin can approve once reached for system approval.
AS FYI, “Confirm Password” is only required when creating the request but not on any other stage.

Complete tasks using the outlook integration

I left a "send email" pending created directly on the CRM, then a user sends an email using the outlook plugin and creates a new completed task with the same subject.
Is possible to link both task?

It would be better if you could share us the detailed error message in English.
Do you mean that you could run your test in your build agent machine? If so, I doubt that it would be related to the TFS build. I mean that maybe it is not the test issue.
Please share the detailed error in English, and then post this issue to the TFS-build forum would be better for this issue since it works well in build agent machine.

If Adobe Reader or Acrobat is installed, there should be a setting in its preferences such as Display PDF in Browser. I don't use those applications myself, so I can't be more precise. Deselect that setting, if it's selected. Otherwise do as follows.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens (command-V), then press return.
From the folder that opens, move to the Trash any items that have "Adobe" or “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it as well, if it's present. The same goes for a plugin called "iGetter," and perhaps others — I don't have a complete list.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

First check to make sure you have data turned on and not just Wi-Fi. From reading your question you seem to be saying e mail is working just not attached photos. What size are the photos as some HD photos can't be sent. Your camera may be set at a very high picture size and you can go to settings and lower the size and that may solve your mailing problem.

I am using the big date calendar template and when I submit it to apple for printing I lose the name of two months. These names are not text boxes. I see the names when I send it in but something happens during the transmission to apple. It was suggested

I am using the big date calendar template in iPhoto. I am on Lion 10.7.2, macbook air. The names of the months are on each calendar page but something happens when I send the data to Apple. The names are part of the template. They are not text boxes. I lose two names on the calendar after it is sent to Apple. Apple suggested I make a pdf file of my calendar before sending it in and check to make sure every name shows. I did this with a calendar I just sent in. The calendar was correct. All names of the months were showing. After sending the data two month names disappeard because when it arrived by mail, it was incorrect. Apple looked at my calendar via a pdf file and it was incorrect. This is second time this has happened. I called Apple and they had me delete several folders in the Library folder, some preferences and do a complete reinstall of iPhoto. I have not yet remade the defective calendar. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

Control-click on the background of the view all pages window and select "Preview Calendar" from the contextual menu.
You can also save the pdf as a file to compare to the printed calendar. If the two names are visible in the pdf file then the printed copy should show them. Contact Apple for a refund. Apple Print Products - Apple Store (U.S.)
