Implementing Finanacial Supply Chain Management - Collections Managment

Dear all
We are in the process of Implementing Financial Supply Chain Management - Collections Management. We are also looking at business content in BI 7.0 as reporting solution.
While 0CLM_MC1 and 0CLM_MC2 are providing most of the data related to call worklist (like amount due, amount disputed, amount promised, dunning level etc etc) , an important piece of information that is crucial for debt reviews which is the text information stored in promise to pay and customer contact is missing.
Is there any way to upload this information (Long Text)  is BI.
Thanks & Regards
Sachchida Nand Dubey

Hi,
U can go for BDC to upload ..
i.e.
'GUI_UPLOAD'
In general BDC and BAPI's are used to upload the data...mainly BAPI s are used to upload the bulk data...
if it screen flow then go for BDC upload...otherwise go for the BAPIs FM's
Regards
Kiran

  • Domain value Mapping for Supply chain and order management analytics

    Hi Experts.
I'm new to BI Applications. I'm configuring Oracle Supply chain analytics and order management analytics and i see in the configuration guide that we need to
Map each Status Code to one domain value. I dont understand what this means? what is meant by domain value and how can we map the data retreived by the query with the domain values.
    Appreciate your help.
    Thanks
    Rajesh

    Hi Deepak.
Our functional analysts dont understand what domain values means. they have run the query but since they dont understand what Domain values means they could not proceed.
Pls could you give an example of how to map the data retrieved with the domain values ?
    Appreciate your help
    Thanks

  • Exclude Special G/L Transactions in Collection Management Worklist

    Hi everybody,
We have implemented Collection Management and Dispute Management. Every day with transaction FDM_COLL_SEND01 all open items are transferred from FI-AR to FSCM-CM. After that the workslists are created successfully.
I have noticed that all Special G/L transaction are transferred as well. This was not my intention.
In the IMG (Financial Supply Chain Managemeny > Collections Management > Integration with Accounts Receivable Accounting > Activate Process Integration of Documents with Special G/L Indicator) it seems possible to include or exclude Special G/L items.
The transaction suggests that when no values are entered, no Special G/L items appear in the transfer from FI-AR to FSCM-CM, which is fine. However, this seems not to work. Whatever I try in this customizing screen, the result is always that Special G/L items are available in the worklist. That's not what we want. Remarkable is that in this customizing screen, the option "exclude" is grey, which means that it cannot be used at all.
I realize there is a BADI available and there is a possible work around that gives the possibility to filter the data in the workslist itself, but that's not the preferred option. Is there another way to exclude Specials G/L items?
Hope that someone can help me. What am I doing wrong?
    Regards,
    Carlo

Interesting - I dont get the Excl field. (I have gone to the far right to check)
I managed to enter a value for a Company Code, Special GL and leave the relevant as blank.
You need to make sure your FIN-BASIS settings are for Enh Pack 6 as well.(736) and SAP_APPL is 606

  • The SAP Press book collection The Supply Chain Fundamentals

Hi. I can navigate sap fairly well. I can follow a Business Process or, Workflow - if it is already written out, i.e., a test script. I am wanting to increase my knowledge, to the point where I know my way around SAP (MM) better, way better. I cant afford the cost of the SAP Training courses. So, would The Supply Chain Fundamentals Collection of books from SAP Press be a good investment? Please offer any advice you may have.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Get "SAP MM - Functionality and Technical Configuration". This is a good investment and has a wide applicability across the SAP platform.
    Cheers !

  • Mobile Supply Chain

    hello
    This is on r12.1.3
We are in the process of implementing Mobile Supply Chain applications.
And for that we need to procure hand held scanners. Question is, which ones?
Does Oracle recommend any specific  brand for handheld scanners that are optimized or set as standard for MSCA?   We are leaning towards Honeywell as they are traditionally known to work with Oracle products, but open to new suggestions (if any).   If you can refer a link or white paper from Oracle, it will help.
    Thanks,
    Darsh

We are running 11.5.10.2 on Linux 64 bit. Client requires to implement Mobile supply chain...Can any one give me some metalink notes or pointers for the same . ?/ Do we have to do any installation in Handhelds too ? ..PLease guideI assume the application tier node is running on Linux 32-bit since this tier is not supported on Linux 64-bit.

  • Problem facing while implementing FSCM-Collections Management

    Hi,
I am doing the FSCM-Collections Management implementation in my current project.I have implemented everything but i got struck up while bringing the"Customers in to Business Partners" (In collections management Business partners are nothing but Customers).
Note: The requirement is -Once you bring the customers as business partners in Collections management module,What ever the changes you made to Customers in FI module, the same changes will be done in Collections management Business Partners also.
So,now i am not able to Bring the Customers to Business Partners in Collections management.Kindly help me how can i bring the customers of FI into Collections Management.
    Thanks
    Supriya

Have you tried FLBPD1 - transaction - creating business partner from customer?
This transaction lives only udner Treasury and Risk Management > BP > Special Functions
BTW, have you connected in config business partner with customers? Check the settings under cross application components and in Collection Mgt.
    Cheers

  • Supply Chain Management

    Hello SAP guru's,
I am looking for job. In one job posting the requirement is
SAP MM experience with a strong emphasis in the Supply Chain Management area.
Can anyone tell me how much do I need to know about Supply Chain Management?
How it is connected with MM?
    Please.
    Thank You.

    Hi,
First you should work in MM for atleast 3 years, there after you can think of becoming Supply Chain Consultant..
as everybody knows SAP is very Vast, addressing  all the requirement of a Single Module itself is very difficult..
But I would suggest you to Have Knowledge in FI apart from MM...
This combination is very useful for getting jobs..
    Thx

As i am interested in SAP, i have to move my career into SAP in this case please suggest me that which
module is suitable for me to take step into SAP.
Some of my friends said to take SCM (supply chain Management) is it correct or i have to take some other
i am in confusion now so please suggest me to move forward
In my company i am working in Logistics dept where my role is Importing power plant equipment through Sea
custom clearance of imported material at port origin, preparation of shipping documents etc..
so please give some proper guidance sir
    warm regards
    sudha

    Hi Sudha,
Personally choosing a module in SAP is completely yours choice as you have to think well which will suit your aspirations. As from your portfolio i came to know that you got exposed to supply chains.yes SCM will be a good choice.I can see OTC/SD will be a good choice for you.OTC normally refers to the business process for receiving and processing customer sales. It follows "Opportunity to Order" and covers business to business(B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) sales.
Again choice is yours !!.  .Wish you good luck in SAP career.

  • SAP material for supply chain management

    Hello All,
My name is Siddhartha. I am new to this forum. I am doing my masters in supply chain management and am planning to get into the functional side of SCM in Material Management (MM) module. I want to get online training if possible. Can you suggest the ideal place or website where I can get the material and online training for preparing?

    Hi
Surf through this webpage - http://www.sap.com/services/education/certification/index.epx
It will give you an idea of all certifications, levels, topics/modules to be studied.
Also, information on contacting the SAP Education offices in various countries.
Moreover, I recommend you to contact the Authorised Training Centers in US. They will share all the information right from duration to modules to fees.
    Cheers!

  • Implementation of SAP-FSCM Collection Management

    Hi All,
    To implement SAP-FSCM Collection Management
Is it necessary that we have all the clients in SAP-AR or we can use a legacy to feed up FSCM-Collectionu2026we have this doubt that will define if we have to replicate all the accounts receivables from the legacy in SAP or just only take the information from the Legacy.
Please advise what should be the approach.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards,
    Suchitra

Please note FSCM can receive AR data from different systems.
You will need to create business partners in ERP for Collections Management, but you should be able to interface AR data into ERP6.
