Implementing MRS 9 missing node /MRSS/IMG Sources of Demand Orders

Hi,
We just install MRS 9 on a ECC 6 system and when I want to do the customizing for PM/CS I can't the in the /MRSS/IMG the node /MRSS/IMG >Sources of Demand> Orders.
What did I do wrong here?

Generally you are right, there are many inconsitancies which often lead to irritation, you can also find this in the descriptions of the customizing activities.

Dear Friends
we are working in sap ecc 604 system. the FSCM functionalities are used very less. In our system we are getting Treasury nodes in main menu path. but the same is missing in the IMG path. Please guide us which business function set net to be activiated for the same. will it be having any impact on production environment.

In SFW5, ensure that the EA-FS extensions are activated. If you activate it here, then the corresponding nodes will appear in IMG.

thank you very much. It solved the issue.
Earlier the vb6 dll was registered using an a/c id different than the one to login to Crystal Enterprise server from .Net code.
Now copied the dll to 'c:\Program Files\Business Objects\common\3.5\bin\ on the server and ran,
*regsvr32 c:\Program Files\Business Objects\common\3.5\bin\crufltest.dll and it woorked.*

Missing nodes in new GPO objects after adding ADMX to DC (Server 2008 Domain Functional Level 2003)

Hello,
we discovered an issue in GPO console.
DCs: multiple 2008 there is one 2003DC somewhere over the rainbow (don't ask why) :)
Domain Functional Level is 2003.
In June I added Policydefinitions folder into Policy folder in sysvol\domain_name.
I did this for adding ADMX.
Today we found missing nodes when adding new GPO objects and trying to modify them.
Under Computers\Administrative Templates there is only ADMX node. No Administrative Templates with sub nodes: Systeme, Network, Printes, Windows Components.
When edit old GPOs There is Administrative Templates in Administrative Templates with ADMX folder. SEE Screenshot.
My colleague insists that it happened after I made changes by adding ADMX things. Looks that he is right.
Please any help on this issue... How to get back nodes for managing new GPOs as it was before adding ADMX.
Is this something known? I didn't find any prerequisites before adding PolicyDefinistions folder.

1. I would like to know if it is normal behaviour that after creating a Central Store (adding PolicyDefinitions folder into Policies) Classical Administrative Templates will not appear for any new GPO (they do exist to all previously created) see

2. I followed the links. And eventually will use the script for cleaning up duplicate adms in all GPOs. It is great feature of ADMX. But first I would like to bring back the option of Admin Templates.
So I downloaded latest 2012 ADMXs. Run setup on my computer. Now I have Policydefinitions folder containing new ADMXs with languages (culture) folders.
Am I right? I have to copy all *.admx files to my Central Store Policydefinitions folder and all En admls drop to En-Us language folders. What will happen if I will add Fr-Fr? Would it be correct to have 2 languages for the same admxs. And how they will
appear. Or it will depend on OS language were GP console will be opened?
No conflict to expect?

I would like to display production version (supply source) on prduct view.
But, I don't know that how to get supply source of planned order and process order.
APO table is complax.

Are components also plan in APO with MRP type X0?
Does PDS or PPM contain all the components?
Verify if the component is maintained properly in the PDS.
Check whether there is an active integration model for the components, also execute the RAPOKZFX report for all the materials in question.
When you convert the PPDS order to process order then conversion happens in ECC/R/3 system. This is the place BOM has to be reexploded in ECC. Please check if you have any enhancement which restrict BOM explosion.
Also check OSS note 1576703 suggested by an expert Caetano.

Missing node in Message Mapping when test mapping??

Experts,
I have the following Mapping Structures:
Sender:
<Recordset> 1-1
   <Records> 1:unbounded
        <field1>1:1
        <field2>1:1
Receiver:
<Recordset> 1-1
    <Header> 1-1
     <Records> 0-unbounded
           <field1>
           < field2>
     <Trailer> 1-1
Mapping is completed for all fields here.But one thing I notice is on Receiver side : all nodes are Green exept Records - it is Gray with some red smal dot in the gray..
1.Question: What this means?Shouldn't all nodes turn green after mapping is done??
2.When click on TEST on Message MApping I dont even see the Receiver Records node appearing on right(receiver side) But I was able to see Header and Trailer...Why the Records is missing??
On the other hand the result from the test is successfull which is even more confusing ,How come it can be succesful since Records is not there...
I can provide screenshots if needed for more clarity ..Any help is appreciated asap..Thanks much to all!

   It is very simple and there is no complexity with this problem.

        If you mapped the source field to the correspoding target field..all the target fields get turn to green color. If you didn't mapp any target field that filed should appear with gray color..comming to the small circle in the recordset field...it is indicates that ..that field is "Unbounded".
   For resolving the above issue...do the mapping like this.
   <Recordset>---><Recordset>
   <Records>-------><Records>
   <field1>----><field1>
   <field2>-----> <field2>1
Keep the empty constant value for the target field Header...
   empty constatnt---->Header.
So once you done this check the mappping it will execute fine and even you able to see the recods node in the target structure.

Fields Missing in the data source

I have to Append structures in my data source , and there are few fields under each append , the fields existing in Dev are missing in QA under one of Append strcuture's in QA. I see the fields when I double click the extract str but dont get to see them in the data source in QA, has anyone had this earlier ?

Hi,
Go to transaction RSA6 -> datasource. You will see number of fields ( standard and appended). Check missing field there and checkbox in HIDE column against it. If box is checked it wont be shown in the datasource. It will hide the field in the datasource.

Road to the Missing Node- Help on Contexts/Queues

I have a source structure like
Root
Structure Node1- (1.1)
Structure Node2 -(1..unbounded)
StrcutureNode3(1)
StructureNode4(1...n)
Value Node
I set the context of "value node" to structureNode2 .
There are totally 10 "Structure node2" s each with / without the Value Node.
Now , if i check the "Queue" for Value node in the mapping editor, I should be having 10 entries between 2 default "suppress" entries but I am able to see only 9.
Can any one help me to find the 10 th entry in the queue for the 10th "structure Node2"?:)

Strange issue in Oracle ASM on Two node RAC where in one ASM node shows all diskgroup while other node shows missing node.

We have Oracle datbase 11gR1 in RAC node with Oracle ASM.Recently our database server got crashed and we are trying to restore back services.
Using Snapshot technologyBusiness copy we had synced all our disk on storage level. Post this when we are trying to start ASM instance on node 1 it is coming and showing all diskgroups but on other node it is throwing errot with missing e diskgroup.
ORA-15032: not all alterations performed
ORA-15040: diskgroup is incomplete
ORA-15042: ASM disk "5" is missing
Expert please share your views.

The I/O fabric layer on the other node failed to mount all storage LUNs - resulting in ASM being unable to mount a diskgroup as there are missing disks in that group.
Rebooting is exactly what could be needed to reset the h/w and infrastructure used by that node, in order for it to see all the storage disks again. As node 1 sees all storage disks (and is working), the disk itself on the storage system is intact and usable.
What is the o/s? What is the fabric layer? What is used on o/s for dealing with the I/O fabric layer?

Missing node at reciever payload

Hi Experts,
My scenario is IDOC to JDBC, when on run with live data at the reciever end it missing a node even though all the mapping rules are satisfied. I tried in IR test tab it looks good there, as it is a huge payload, managed taking the missed records and processed through the IR-Design-Tst TAB, it worked there. But on real run it missing a node for some fields.
Please suggest me what might be a cause for this or what can be done to resolve this. Thanks!!!

Normally its good practice to use map with default in case of database structures. Secondly, you can try refreshing meta data from IDX2.
Also just go through database logs in that particular time interval. See if anything happened at database side when PI was trying to insert data. There can be something wrong at database side as well.
Also check PI Logs, default trace files. See if you get any logs.
In such cases, even if you raise OSS, SAP will need thread dumps for that situation. But normally in such scenario as we can not regenerate the error, we dont get the answers.

Commas in Hiearchy Nodes from SAP Source

Hi,
We are still using the old way of transfer rules to import hiearchies to SAP BW.
The node descriptions contain commas which i want to remove.
The leaves also contained commas but removed that via the transformation in when loading texts.
Can you please advise me the me the best way to remove the commas in the description of the nodes?

description must be maintained at source side.
inform about this comma issue, so now onwards they won't maintain commas.
at bw side in at field level you can write any routine to remove that comma.
About logic you can get help from ABAP expert.
if comma coming at one place for every record(which have comma) then no issue. if its coming at different places in deceptions then code maycontain more if else condiitons. it may degrade loading performance.

Read attribute of implementation class from context node

I need to access the implementation class from the context node,in component seged_tg/eltargetgroupitem. Node is targetgroupitem.
Also if I can either access the component controller from the context node,I need to know how to instantiate the class.
