  • Problem with axis2 and Tomcat

    Hello,
I am having a strange problem with Tomcat and axis. I have a webservice that uses axis2 for wsdl2java class generation. When I compile my project in maven a Test is performed. During the test a glassfish server is established and the project is deployed -everything work great with the expected results. However when I try to deploy the webservice on tomcat it has some problems.
At first I tried to call axis code in a POST method that takes a MultiPart message. The code is as below:
    *@Path("identifyWavestream")*
    *@POST*
    *@Consumes(MediaType.MULTIPART_FORM_DATA)*
    *@Produces(MediaType.APPLICATION_XML)*
*public String multipartTest(com.sun.jersey.multipart.MultiPart multiPart) throws Exception {*
*// get first body part (index 0)*
*//tomcat shows that the first error is here (line 122 is the nest one with bodypart)*
    BodyPart bp = multiPart.getBodyParts().get(0);
    BodyPartEntity bodyPartEntity = (BodyPartEntity) bp.getEntity();
    InputStream stream = bodyPartEntity.getInputStream();
*//the rest of the code either saves the incoming file or implements the wsdl2java axis interface - neither works.*
    And the tomcat error is:
    java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 0, Size: 0
    java.util.ArrayList.RangeCheck(Unknown Source)
    java.util.ArrayList.get(Unknown Source)

It was strange to me since this simple approach of handling a Multipart method worked for me earlier. Then I decided skip the handling of multipart method and just call the axis code. But the results also caused an error. I then tried to call the axis code in a simple @GET method (to cross out any issues regarding the multipart) and the result where the same. Again everything works on the maven- glassfish test. In this case the tomcat error is the following:

  • New tables in 12.1

    Hi
We are working on the migration of Studio 11.5 to 12.1 . While creating the Library table names we are seeing the below two additional tables in 12.1. Please let us know the significance of the below tables.
    User Table
    Common Fields Table
Do we need to have these two tables created or they are optional.
    Thanks in Advance

The legacy USERINFO.DBF file is now held in the database used to house the resources. The legacy FDB file, for the field database, is also now contained in the database.
The use of legacy Codebase repository, held on the file system, is no longer used since the introduction of Documaker V12.0. It is possible to maintain existing Codebase workspaces in DMStudio V12.0 and higher, but the creation of any new workspaces must use a database as the library for all files that may have previously been Codebase.
As of Documaker V12.0 any new workspaces created will be held in a database. If Standard Edition is used this can continue to be SQL or Oracle, however if Enterprise Edition is used it is necessary to use Oracle DB.
If you are being prompted for these tables it sounds like you didn't use DMStudio in V11.5 and you were using the legacy Image Editor, Formset Editor, etc applications for resource maintenance. You have two options available to you:
    1) Using V11.5 DMStudio create a new workspace and import the legacy resources to that workspace. You can choose a Codebase workspace to house the resources. That workspace can then be opened in DMStudio V12.0.
    2) Using V12.0 DMstudio create a new workspace and import the legacy resources to that workspace. You will have to choose an ODBC database, through the DSN selection screen, to identify a database that will house all resources.
My recommendation would be to use option 2) as the Codebase repository is a legacy option that will no longer be developed or enhanced. Additionally, the Codebase format cannot be tuned or indexed for performance gains. Finallly, the Codebase format is very easy to corrupt as it's a single file, and this could result in you losing your whole library and having to move to a backup. The use of ODBC database for the library is more stable, secure and allows room for improvement through performance tuning.

  • Data Migration from Legacy System in CRM

    Hi All,
We are going to Implement a new CRM project, I have a problem with LSMW(Legacy System Migration Workbench ), I have some Conversion Objects of CRM and I need to know whether Data Migration is possible or not, please tell me how to find these Objects and how to know Data Migration is possible or not.
    Objects are like.,
    1. Accounts
    2. Actuate Reports
    3. Active Campaigns/Campaign Content/Dispositions
    4. Contacts
    5. Contracts
    6. Opportunities
    7. Payment Arrangement History
    8. Payments
    9. Premises
    10. Rate Changes
    11. Security Deposits
    12. Business Partner Relationships
    13. Web self-service information
    14. Usage that has been used for quotes
    15. Tax history information, including AXCIS
    17. Service Requests
    18. Service Order History
    19. Security Deposits
    20. Reference Values
    21. Rate Changes
Can anybody please tell any transaction code in CRM where can I find the Data migration for the above objects is possible or not.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Sai.

    Hello,
for migration into CRM I would suggest the 'XIF-Interfaces'; these are interfaces provided in CRM for connection to external systems. I'm not sure if this will cover all objects mentioned above, but at least some of them should exist.
Some information about existing interfaces can be found in the integration repository under http://ifr.sap.com/index.html; from the start screen first select 'Enter the repository' and then have a look under 'generic components' and 'SAP CRM'.

  • Xorg 1.8 - nvidia 96xx legacy driver

Since a few weeks I use Archlinux and I'was happy with it until my last upgrade. After this (incl. kernel 2.6.34 and xorg 1.8) I was lost in the dark. Googling learned me that the nvidia 96xx legacy driver (I have an old Geforce card) cannot cope with xorg 1.8 (yet??). Could this be better coordinated in the future?
If not, can someone please explain (in simple terms, I'm a newbie, what to do if such things happen).
    Thanks in advance.

    Good luck with the mistery.
I didn't use anything else to install nvidia-96xx, it was with pacman. nvidia-96xx is no longer on repos but it was when i made the setup. I dont see why they removed it. Works 100% good here on my SD plasma. Even with games and xbmc.

  • Real trouble trying to install Catalyst Legacy

I'm kind of in trouble trying to install catalyst-total-hd234k package from the AUR
using yaourt to achieve this, enabled the xorg112 package to downgrade, tried pacman directly and makepkg, same result
It asks a lot of dependencies conflicting with catalyst drivers, so I accept to remove before downgrading to 1.12
It goes through like if nothing was up after downgrading, package installs without any error
Following the AMD Catalyst wiki page in here leads me to have a black screen after reboot
EDIT 2: Process of reproducing the problem I'm facing
    - I enable the xorg112 repository on top of every other in /etc/pacman.conf
    - Downgrade xorg with
    # pacman -S xorg

let me paste form the grill:
I'm pretty sure that you didn't update catalyst-total-hd234k to version 13.1-28, because there I fixed conflict with ati-dri.
    Comment by doblerone (2014-12-17 19:15)
During the last update, apparently there are some conflicts between catalyst-libgl and catalyst-total-hd234k. The suggestion is to remove catalyst-total-hd234k.
    Comment by Vi0L0 (2014-12-18 08:14)
You are probably using libva-xvba-drivers which from yesterday depend on catalyst-libgl, i will add it to provides array after getting back home
    Comment by Vi0L0 (2014-12-18 21:50)
    13.1-29:
    - added catalyst-libgl, opencl-catalyst, lib32-catalyst-libgl and lib32-opencl-catalyst into provides array to satisfy libva-xvba-driver (and maybe other that will come in the future) deps;
    - added linux 3.18 support (i cannot test it actually, i can see it compiles fine though)
    Comment by K3pler (2015-01-05 12:43)
Planning to replace my ultra outdated x1950pro for a less outdated hd3870 lol.
And using this driver i probably need to downgrade xorg-server from 1.16 to 1.12 from the aur, right???
    Thanks for your work VioLO

Building fglrx module for 3.17.6-1-ARCH kernel ...
    Ok.
Add nomodeset to your kernel line in /boot/grub/menu.lst , ie.:
    kernel /boot/vmlinuz-linux root=/dev/sda1 ro nomodeset
You can use the tool 'aticonfig' to generate an xorg.conf file.
    --------------------- ^^^^^^^^^ --------------------------------
    fglrx was added into /etc/modules-load.d/catalyst.conf
atieventsd (needs acpid pkg) on systemd:
    systemctl enable atieventsd
    systemctl start atieventsd
For more info and troubleshooting visit:
    http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ATI_Catalyst
    ATTENTION!
To enable 'automatic re-compilation while system shutdown/reboot'
testing feature run these commands as root:
    systemctl enable catalyst-hook
    systemctl start catalyst-hook
    More info here:
    https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1255575#p1255575
    Optional dependencies for catalyst-total-hd234k

libxxf86vm: to run ATi Catalyst Control Center (amdcccle) [installed]
opencl-headers: headers necessary for OpenCL development
acpid: acpi event support / atieventsd [installed]
linux-lts-headers: to build the fglrx module for the linux-lts kernel
==> Checking vote status for catalyst-total-hd234k
You have already voted for catalyst-total-hd234k
==> Packages no longer required by any installed package:
    libepoxy
    - Then, I re-enable catalyst-hook (and optionally atieventsd) to be able to build modules at end and start of pc
    $ sudo systemctl disable catalyst-hook
    Removed symlink /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/catalyst-hook.service.
    $ sudo systemctl disable atieventsd
    Removed symlink /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/atieventsd.service.
    $ sudo systemctl enable catalyst-hook
Created symlink from /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/catalyst-hook.service to /usr/lib/systemd/system/catalyst-hook.service.
    $ sudo systemctl enable atieventsd
Created symlink from /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/atieventsd.service to /usr/lib/systemd/system/atieventsd.service.
    - Afterwards, I blacklist the radeon module for it not to interfere with fglrx:
Added "blacklist radeon" on the nano prompt below
    $ sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf
    - Then I generate the xorg.conf file, and get the output below with '# aticonfig --initial'

  • Data conversion from legacy : through BOM or recipe for a process industry?

    Hi all
I am working on  data migration document for BOM , ROUTING, PROD VER. My question is whether during migration from legacy we should first migrate the Recipe and add the comp no for creating BOM in mass creation , Or that we should bring the BOMs directly from the legacy? Which method is better from strategic point ?

    Hello,
for migration into CRM I would suggest the 'XIF-Interfaces'; these are interfaces provided in CRM for connection to external systems.

  • GRC 10 - Legacy connector as user detail data source

    Hello,
I'm trying to use a legacy connector (with a text file as input) as a user data-source.
Repository user sync for this legacy connector works : checked GRACUSER table, it is populated with all the user details from the input file (id,firstname, lastname, mail, department, phone
I got it working for user search data source : when creating an access request for "other" user, searching for a user ID/name works : data are displayed in search result, however when I select the user from the serach result the user details are not populated in an access-request form.
Any clue about this ? Any one already got this working ?
    GRC 10.0 SP13.
Checked SP14 and SP15 release notes, and found no relevant notes yet.
    repository-related notes applied :

    Regards,
    Emmanuel.

    Hi Pedro,
You only have confirmed that 2 accounts are maintained in HCM and in SU01 as well, so you would be able to see these accounts' details both ways.
Yes, you are right about user account maintenance first in HCM at the time of new hire, then you can manually raise the access request to grant them access to various SAP systems. Or in order to automate this process as Prasahant suggested, you can take help from HR Triggers.
You can refer: GRC 10.0 - HR Trigger configuration - Governance, Risk and Compliance - SCN Wiki
But responding to your original discussion, whatever user accounts are maintained in HCM you would see those details provided you define HR for the "user search data source" AND from SU01 for "user detail data source"
In your case you have 2 accounts which have been maintained in HCM as well as SU01, so that is what creating confusion for you.
Let us know if you need any more clarifications.
    Regards,
    Ameet

  • GL Legacy Data Conversion

I have a question for the data conversion strategy.
We are planning to store 2 yr detailed transactions and 4yr balances in Oracle system. In terms of the data conversion process, we were also going to take the same method. It would, however, cause schedule and workload constraints. Actually, we have not yet discussed this from realistic view points. In other words, we do not insist on storing all of data which are 2yr transaction and 4yr balances.
Although I believe that we will be able to eliminate a volume of the data to be converted to new chart of accounts from old ones, I am a little bit concerned about a couple of things as follows:
    1. the workload for reporting processes
Assuming that we will not use Oracle standard reports so much, it would not be a big issue, even if we do not convert all of data I mentioned above. We will store historical report data somewhere, and be able to generate certain reports using both Oracle data and historical data in the repository. If not, it could cause us extra efforts.
    2. Audit trails / Examination trails
If we give up converting the data to fit new system, and that fiscal year has not been examined yet, how should we handle non-converted data for the examination? I am just wondering whether or not, we have only to prepare the conversion table, that ties Oracle balances back to ABC detailed transactions for their reference.
If anyone is are aware of anything you can advise me, could you please provide some information or guidance? Thanks to ALL.

    Hi,
When you talk about GL-Data it is the trial balance to be loaded from legacy to oracle applications.
You can use Web-ADI to upload it ,the check list are
The balance for each account comibnation in the legacy system to be mapped to GL-Oracle code combination balance
With respect to open AR, AP Invoices if the invoices are converted using a control account for migration in GL then
the the balance transfered from AP,AR need not be reversed in GL from the source receivables and payables.
In case if the same account combination are for migrating the balances from AP,AR to GL ..Then the balances transferred from AP,AR should be reversed ..so that it does not affect the TB-GL-Balance
Finally ensure that the balance for the TB-tallys with your legacy system and upload it using Web-ADI ,import and
    review and post it.
Hope this points helps your GL-Data conversion.

  • Esso Agents 11.1.1.2.0 with Legacy Logon manager and PG

    Hi
I have many applications that fail on single sign-on.Although the eso services are started I have many pcs having to be re-installed because of esso not working. I have tried the troubleshooting methods on repair and un/re-installation of the esso software with no success
The components I have currently installed are:
    1. Esso Server
    Logon Manager Console 10.1.410 (unpatched)
    Provisioning Gateway server 10.1.410 (unpatched)
    Microsoft ADAM repository on windows
    2. Windows XP esso Client
    Logon Manager Agent 10.1.410 (unpatched)
    Provisioning Gateway Client 10.1.410 (unpatched)
My question is can I upgrade the clients to the latest version 11.1.1.2.0 now while having the Esso server version software remain the same. The upgrade of the Esso server will happen only during the latter half of the year.
Will the esso clients still continue to work connecting to the legacy software on the esso server.
We have a few sites that have been upgraded fully ( server and clients) to the 11.1.1.2.0 version and esso has been stable there ever since .
    Thanks
    Minesh

This is an SSL handshake problem of Websphere - has nothing to do with AM.
Webspheres JDK does not trust the Signer / Cert of AMs deployment container.
Either configure a truststore (or use an existing webshpere truststore) where you import the Cert of the Signing CA of your AM DCs cert.
Other option - import the mentioned cert in cacert file of IBM JDK - but be aware that this might get lost when applying an Websphere fixpack/refreshpack.
BTW what have you configured for server.port,server.host and server.protocol in your AMConfig.properties?
If you have not changed that settings agent will use the port/protocol specified to communicate with AM.

  • LEGACY TO IDOC

    •     Legacy to SAP interface: Developed the Interface in XI where in (Legacy) is sending invoice data to SAP. Using File/idoc adapters
Here, the actual content of the invoice data is in the text format for which I have to send it to SAP system so I have developed an interface in XI and used File adapter on the legacy part and IDOC adapter on the sap part
pls can any one give the details step wise.....

    IR
    1. Import idoc from the SAP System from imported objects.
    2. Create Data Type, Message Type, Message Interface for the Outbound File.
    3. Create Message Mapping with file Message and idoc
5.Create Interface mapping between File Interface and the idoc.
(no Messge interface for idoc , it acts as an interface)
    other steps
    1.Create a RFC Destination in SM59 .
2.In transaction IDX1 ,create a port for the client of XI server.
    3. The port has to be displayed in the idx2 transaction and we should be able to view the idoc’s which we imported through integration repository.
(idoc metadata gets loaded as u import the idoc in IR)
    Steps in Configuration
    1. Goto service without party, right click->Assign a business system.
    2. Choose the business system to be added.
    3. Create a File Sender Service with communication channel for the same.(Follow http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/2c/181077dd7d6b4ea6a8029b20bf7e55/content.htm  for Communication channel parameters)
    4. Create an idoc receiver channel under the business system.
    7. The Idoc type is mentioned as inbound parameter.
    8. Mention the logical Name in the Service->Adapter Specific Parameters of file  Sender Service .
    9. Make the Sender Agreement for theFile Sender with communication channel.
10.Create the Receiver Determination and Interface Determination for the business system.
11.Create the Receiver Agreement for the Business system.
Step for Configuration fo IDOC in R/3
    SM59-rfc destination
    IDX1-port
    IDX2-load metadata
    we05-IDoc status records
    BD54-Create Partner Number

  • How to refresh XI RFC Metadata Repository?

    Hi everyone,
I would like to know how to refresh the XI RFCadapter Metadata Repository.
I had a scenario RFC(R/3) -> XI -> Legacy System. I made some changes in RFC on R/3 environment, adding some fields, but unfortunately these fields are not appearing in XI.
I imported and activated the RFC in "Design:Integration Builder" but XI still not receiving these new fields.
    Thanks for your attention.

  • Difference between Business Partner and Customer Master repository

What is the difference between Business Partner and Customer Master repository ?
Is the Business Partner repository to be used in case CRM is also in landscape ? or Customer master repository is good enough ?
    Sandesh

    Hi,
If the landscape has both CRM and SAP ECC a business partner repository model should be good.
If it has ECC alone.a Customer Repository is needed.
But when there are many legacy systems which also contains master data fields, the standard business repository provided by SAP wont provide a good solution as it wont cover the legacy master fields..In this case its better to go for a customized repository and you can use the standard repository as a reference.
    Thanks

  • Legacy flat file - XI - R/3 (IDocs)

    Hi Liu,
I was trying to have some hands-on with XI 3.0 demo.
I tried with the following scenario-
Legacy flat file -> XI -> R/3 (IDocs)
e.g., say to create BOM data or material Master.
I take the flat file - create my own External Data Type, message type & message Interface for it in Design(Repository).
And try to map it with the required IDoc Type(msg. type) imported from R/3.
But while mapping, I found certain unknown fields like BEGIN (mandatory), inside the Control Record EDI_DC40- certain fields like SEGMENT, TABNAM, etc.
Al these fields are unknown & I could not figure what to map & how to map them.
Also how do we map Sender port/ receiver- dow e need to hard-code them or we can assign them/map them dynamically.
    Would appreciate ur sppedy reply.
    Thanks.

For BEGIN you map a constant with no value.
For the attributes SEGMENT you have to choose:
    1. Is the IDOC segment available only once (occurence 1..1), just map constant '1'
    2. Is the IDOC segment available multi times (occurence 1..unbounded), map arithmetic function 'counter' to make sure, that each attribut SEGMENT has an increasing number.

  • IBM FileNet instead of UCM as default content repository for WebCenter

    Hi,
Appreciate if anyone can clarify the following queries:
Is it possible to replace UCM with IBM FileNet as the default (primary) content repository of Oracle WebCenter?
Is JSR 227 adapter available for FileNet to connect it to WebCenter (as Secondary, NOT as primary content repository)?

    useful links:
UCM replacement with IBM File net
Using IBM FileNet instead of UCM
    From the installation document:
The Documents service provides content management and storage capabilities for WebCenter applications. To use the Documents service, you must have a content repository > at the back end that contains the documents you want to manage. Oracle WebCenter supports content integration with the following external repositories:
    Oracle Content Server
    Oracle Portal 11g
Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 Service Pack 2
Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) version 3 Service Pack 2I know that the marketing materials show a Documentum adaptor, but I don't believe that's been created yet. I believe that it's a legacy BEA adaptor that hasn't been officially released for WC yet.
