Import AD users to SharePoint online

Hi, I need a help in import active directory users in to SharePoint online. So that the authentication will be done with imported users on SharePoint online. Please help me with procedure to integrate/import on premise AD to SharePoint online.

I understand that you want to Import local AD users to SharePoint online.
Please download DirSync from office 365 admin center
it will sync all users from AD to office 365 then you need to assign licence.

SharePoint does not remove users from SharePoint permissions just because they were deleted/disabled in AD. This is to maintain referential integrity. In fact, when you delete a user from SharePoint, that user remains in the SharePoint content database,
just marked as deleted.
They do not have access to SharePoint given their account is deleted/disabled. But as far as automatically managing this, I'm not aware of a tool. On-prem there is Metalogix ControlPoint which does a great job of this, I haven't explored the O365 options.

Can you please suggest me how we can send Email to anonymous user?
I have create the custom contact us web part as a sandbox solution (For SharePoint Online public facing site) with following fields
Name: txtName
Email: txtEmail
Phone No: txtPhoneNo
Company Name: txtCompany
Message: txtMessage
Now I want to send the Email (txtEmail) to anonymous user which have fill the contact us form.

Email through Event receiver in SharePoint Online

I am creating an event receiver for custom list which will send email to users in sharepoint online.
I am using the following code to send email through event receivers in sharepoint.
            MailMessage mMailMessage = new MailMessage();

NOTE: I am using MailMessage() because it is in the sandbox solution.
However I am facing the following error :
Request for the permission of type 'System.Net.Mail.SmtpPermission, System, Version=4.0.0.0,
Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed.
It may be because I am trying to use SMTP server of sharepoint Online,However I am not able to connect it.
Can anybody help me and can advice how to send email programmatically from sharePoint online ?

In Office 365, there's no direct way to send an email programmatically because the SPUtility.SendEmail
Method isn't available in sandboxed solutions. The workaround is to use the Send an Email action in a list workflow.

SharePoint Online External Users

So I was taking SharePoint online for a test drive a few days ago. While I was looking at how users are given permissions to list and libraries I realize something that might
make or break SP Online for me. The out-of-the-box SharePoint Online implementation gives you one private site collection and one public website. Let just focus on the public website in this example. Now, by default the public website is at least viewable
to everyone. But what if I created a survey on my public website and only wanted members of the site to have access to it. I know that you can "Share Site" with external users. But can you allow visitors to your site the ability to create their own account,
and in turn fill out the survey? And of course without purchasing a license for every person filling the survey.

I'm not sure about making content on your public site private, but you can make content on your private sites public. You basically turn on external users for the entire Office 365 SharePoint Online account. Then you can optionally disable it
for certain site collections. That way, you can control who has access to what. This article might be helpful in explaining how external users works in SharePoint Online:

How can i add a special user to the "site collection administrators" of the personal site on sharepoint online when the personal site is creating ?

when a new personal site is created on the sharepoint online 2013， then the administrator of this personal site will be himself. we can add another person to the "site collection administrators", then this person have full control of this personal
site.
but my request is : add this personal to the personal site when the personal site is creating, but not after the personal site has created ?

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to add a special user to the "site collection administrators" of the personal site on sharepoint online when the personal site is creating.
Per my knowledge,
there is no out of the box way to accomplish this with SharePoint.
This is a forum which is supported for SharePoint On-Premise.

Is it possible to restrict access to individual SharePoint Online sites (or site collections) to users only connecting when on the corporate network?

We have an Office 365 environment which is linked to our on premise ADFS environment. We have started to make some deployments of sites to our SharePoint Online environment. For the majority of sites this is great and the ability to access the sites
from anywhere is a real bonus. However, there are some sites and data that I would be much more comfortable in migrating to SharePoint Online if there were a way to make them only accessible via users/computers connected to the corporate network.
I have seen articles in how you can configure ADFS to allow all connections to the Office 365 tenant only from the network or not but what I am after is something which can be configured on a site by site basis (i.e. not the whole Office 365 environment
or SharePoint Online environment) to only allow access when connecting from the corporate network.
Any advice/help would be much appreciated?

Unable to get User Information in infopath form hosted on sharepoint online(2013)

Im trying to retrieve user information (department, Manager, Work E- Mail, Etc..) into an infopath form hosted in sharepoint online using "/_vti_bin/UserProfileService.asmx"
web service. But it returns me an error when im opening the form as :

Any idea about how to get those information into a form which hosted in Office365 environment?

SharePoint Online switching to mobile view when attempting to add user permissions

Hello,
I am having a very weird problem that just started out of no where. It happens when I go to the Site Settings of my site collection and click on Site Permissions. When I click Grant Permissions to try to add users, the browser will immediately switch to
the mobile view.
I am able to switch back to the regular browser view, then when I click Grant Permissions, the box to select the user opens. I then choose the user and click Share. After clicking Share, the popup immediately goes to the mobile view. When I exit that the
users were never granted permissions.
This only happens so far when I am trying to add permissions. Is there something that I could have messed up?
What is happening and how can I fix this? I am out of ideas and unable to add permissions for users. I do not want to have to blow this site collection away.

According to your description, my understanding is that the page would switch to mobile view when attempting to add user permissions in SharePoint Online.
I recommend to verify the things below:
Clear the caches in browser to see if the issue still occurs.
Test the same scenario in another computer to see if the issue still occurs.
Append mobile=0 to the URLs in SharePoint Online.

RDP Users seeing display issues with SharePoint Online Template

I've been able to verify this only happens in RDP when opening a Word Template with embedded Excel table from SharePoint Online within the local Word 2010 application.

Thank you for the input. Its rather odd, but it appears the users who are seeing this problem are connecting via RDP on laptops with widescreens, with screen resolution set much higher than the 1290x1084 we use on the terminal servers. Turning
the resolution down on the laptops did keep the table from becoming oversized and most of it running off edge of document.
However, it appears even turning down the resolution of the client machine still affects how the font is displayed in the document. The font size and type are different than the template document, they get saved that way and appear that way to other users
who do have their screen resolution set correctly. It seems there is something else going on here, thoughts?

Can we add users to the 'Manage Access Request' field to process site access request in SharePoint Online?

I have a requirement in which I have to assign couple of email ids to the "Manage Access Request" field to process site access requests. And, this is possible using server object model but I have to achieve this on SharePoint Online with the help
of CSOM.
There are two properties which control the access request configuration, first is "RequestAccessEnabled", a Boolean flag which turns on or off the access request feature for the site. The second property defines one or more email addresses where
requests will be sent to. It is named "RequestAccessEmail".
The above both properties are available for server object model but not for CSOM.
So, is there any other workaround or way to achieve the sane in CSOM?

I don't think there is a programmatic workaround for SharePoint Online. But the email address is just used for Notification. Anyone with Manage Permissions can approve Access Requests. If you create an email distribution list for the multiple
addresses that should be notified you should be able to add the email address for the distribution list into the Access request email field using the user interface.

Get user manager in workflow SharePoint Designer 2013 for SharePoint online list item

Hello,
I would like to create a workflow in SharePoint Designer 2013 for a list in a site on SharePoint online and one of the action would be to send an e-mail to the manager of the user that created an item in a list.
How can I get the manager of the user and then use it to send an e-mail?

In SP Designer there's the following action that I use.
Find Manager for this user (then output to variable:manager) Action
This is for SPD 2010 not sure if it's still available in SPD 2013

Create new User Account in sharepoint online

I am trying to create a webpart (C#) to allow a user to create an account in sharepoint online (office 365). I thought there would be some type of web-service I could use to do this but so far no luck. I tried sharepointemailws.asmx but that didn't
work. There has to be a way that this can be done in C#, does anyone know? Help!

As you can use the New-MsolUser PowerShell cmdlet there must be a web service there. These might not be documented yet. You might try using Fiddler and see what PowerShell is sending.
