Import cert in Cisco 7921 with error "certificate verification failed"

Hi everyone
I am trying to install a digit cert on a 7921 and I get the message on import of "certificate verification failed".
I have tried a number of time, create CSR file then login to certificate web site and get file assigned then import it back to the phone. I used the DER format
Many thx indeed,
Roy

Hi,

Have you followed the steps outlined in page 72 of this guide?  This should be applicable to 792x.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuipph/7925g/7_0/english/deployment/guide/7925dply.pdf
Do you have any trace logs from the phone you can post after your attempt to import the cert?

I have been receiving this message over and over again when trying to publish my iOS app for the app store (I use Flash cc AIR 3.9.1.1080 for iOS and my settings are: "device testing in interpreter mode", as my app uses several swfs).
I have done everything from scratch, as recommended on other sections of the forums: new app ID from my apple developer account, new Distribution Certificates, new Distribution Provisioning Profiles and nothing works.
I can install my app on my iPad if I use the development Certificate and Provisioning Profile and everything seems OK. But as soon as I use the Distribution Certificate and Provisioning Profile get the same message:
the device has encountered an unexpected error. Installation error: application verification failed
I have done everything from the beggining over and over and nothing works. Am I the only one having this issue on Flash cc???

    Hi Daniel:
I´m far from being an expert on Xcode (or any code) but this is what I did and it worked:
    - On Xcode go to Preferences > Accounts > select your App Developer Account, then click "view details" on the lower right corner.
    - There you can see which of your "Signing Identities" (Certificates) are "Valid". You should have at least one for Development and one for Distribution.
    - Below that window there are two icons which you can use to add, export or revoke a "Signing Identitie" (Certificate).
    - Choose the one you want to use (Develop. or Distrib.), export it to the folder of the app you are working on and name it in such a way you can relate it to your app. Before knowing this I was exporting them using Keychain Access and I wasn´t naming them to differentiate each one properly.
    - On your Apple Developer account create the Provisioning Profile for your app. I deleted any App IDs or Prov. Profs. which were useless.
    - Then on my Apple Developer account I generated a Development Prov. Prof. to install and test my app on my iPad. All went fine.
    - Then an Ad Hoc Prov. Prof. again to install and test my app on my iPad. All went fine.
    - Then I generated the App Store Prov. Prof. and I was able to install the app on my device without the upsetting error.
    - Then I uploaded the app to iTunes Connect with no problem.
These link was useful for me: https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/technotes/tn2318/_index.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/D TS40013777-CH1-TNTAG0
You can also search for "Certificates" and "Provisioning" on Xcode help.
    Good luck!

  • WSUS Role on Server 2012 R2 fails - SQL Server Error "Schema Verification Failed SUSDB"

    Server is Windows Server 2012R2
After installing the WSUS role with WID, when running the post installation task it installs the SUSDB in single user mode, runs all its scripts but then when it tries to set it it MULTI mode it fails with the error:
    Schema Verification Failed SUSDB
If I log onto SQL Management Studio and try to set the database SUSDB to MULTI user mode manually it fails with the same error.
Detaching, deleting the susdb.mdf and .ldf files and re-running the post-installation task fails on the same error.
Uninstalling the WSUS and WID roles, deleting the C:\Windows\WID folder and reinstalling everything once again gives the same error during post installation.
    Seems like a nasty bug.
Does anyone have any ideas? Perhaps there is a way to debug "Schema Verification Failed" errors in SQL Server?

    Hi,
If the WID can't access "C:\Windows\WID\Binn\DBVerify\SUSDBVerify.dll", this issue may occur.
Please change the account of WID to local system account in services.msc, then restart the WID service.
Then try to start the post-install again.
If issue persists, please check the detailed information of WID log.
    Best Regards.

  • When I try to set-up iCloud, I get error message "Verification Failed"?

When I try to set-up iCloud, I get error message "Verification Failed - The certificate for this server is invalid. You may be connecting to a server that is pretending to be "setup.icloud.com" which could put your confidential information at risk."  How do I get passed this message?

The only messages I'm aware of are the ones that say that you can't move to iCloud right now because servers are too busy and that you can continue using MobileMe.  I'd try to go back to iClound in your Settings and give it another try.

  • Server certificate verification failed: issuer is not trusted

Tried to sign in to a couple of websites lately and got this message:
Server certificate verification failed: issuer is not trusted
What is going on and how do you fix?

hello, unfortunately this is an issue caused by the website, which uses an intermediary certificate but doesn't properly [https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=https%3A%2F%2Fphp.net%2F&hideResults=on implement a trusted path to the root certificate authority].
in order to work around that you'd have to manually install the missing certificate and trust it to verify websites in firefox: https://ssl-tools.net/certificates/a1e08f9a6a21691dc96bc3b9fa59a7cadd6d4cc4.pem

My Mac Book Pro OSX 10.6.8 has suddenly stopped printing to Epson Stylus Photo RX690 after many successful print runs.
Print attempts are paused with the Message:

Pulling one out of the air here, since it looks like you don't mind trying stuff...
Have you tried it with a trailing slash yet?

  • SCUP publishing errors (signature verification fails)

I have been unable to publish updates with full content in SCUP since getting it set up. Here is the environment:
    Config Manager 2012 R2 environment
Installed SCUP on CAS (running Server 2008 R2)
    Configured SCUP to use proxy
Here are the steps I followed to get it set up:
Used IIS Manager to create a certificate request and got certificate from our vendor.
Imported cert into local computer Personal certificate store.
    Following
System Center Updates Publisher Signing Certificate Requirements & Step-by-Step Guide, exported .pfx with private keys for SCUP and exported .cer without keys into the Trusted Publishers and Trusted Root Certificate Authorities on the SCUP/CAS server.
I also configured a GPO to deploy these to clients.
Set up the Adobe catalogs, then tried to publish a reader update. Metadata updates work OK, but a full content publish generates errors.
These are the germane errors I am getting (with server name changed to something generic):

I have a followed or looked at a bunch of potential fixes but no dice. Any ideas?

That might be the vendor of the cert but does not tell anything about the type of cert. It has to be a code signing one - otherwise it won't work.

  • How import CDs in Lossless Format with Error Correction?

When I check the error correction option and try to import a CD in Apple Lossless format, it pretends to import the CD very quickly -- it takes less than 30 seconds -- but the tracks have no data. If I uncheck error correction, I can import the CD just fine -- takes the expected time. I only stumbled on this when trying to isolate a noise problem with a CD I'd imported.
I've found this problem mentioned in recent years on Audio Asylum, Audiogon, and Head-Fi forums, but without any explanation for what's up.
I've made sure all my software (OS and application) is current.
I'd appreciate any clues or pointers to threads that discuss what's going on here. I've tried to search this site but have not had any luck.
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi,
    Referencing: https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2095711
Have you followed the steps outlined in page 72 of this guide?  This should be applicable to 792x.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuipph/7925g/7_0/english/deployment/guide/7925dply.pdf
Do you have any trace logs from the phone you can post after your attempt to import the cert?

  • Imported footage overnight, woke up with error....where is my footage?

I let a video sit overnight and import while I was asleep. I woke up with an error message. Thought maybe it was all lost and I would just need to re-import it. But my hard drive is still missing about 20gb so the videos have to be somewhere... help me please!?!?

I just do what the default setting is
    That may not be correct.
If the TV system in your country in NTSC, set the frames-per-second setting to 29.97fps.
If the TV system in your country in PAL, set the frames-per-second setting to 25fps.
Then *create a new project*, choosing DV (4:3) or DV (Widescreen) as appropriate for your footage.
    Import and save.
When importing HDV, select an appropriate HD project *when you create a new project*. iMovie will convert the footage automatically to an editable form (using Apple Intermediate Codec, AIC).

  • HT201210 I attempted to update my IPAD to IOS6 and it failed, following this restore keeps failing with error stating recovery failed.  I am stuck.  I have reset several times and retried recovery mode only to get the same endless loop of trouble.  Please

I tried to update my IPAD to IOS6 and it failed following this recover mode will not wortk either.  I have reset multiple times and tried recovery again only to get the same error stating that recovery failed.  The error states unknown recovery error.  My system OS is up to date with OS X 10.7.5.  Itunes is up to date with 10.7 (21).

    Try:
    - Powering off and then back on your router.
    - The Additional Information paragraph of
iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
    - Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
    Public DNS — Google Developers
    OpenDNS IP Addresses
    - Try on another computer/network
    - Wait if it is an Apple problem

  • ITunes update fails with error 2324, uninstall fails with 2324 as well, no way to run itunes

I have not used itunes for a year or so.  Every time I turn on my Windows 7 x64 desktop, the update fails.
This time I tried to update and got the failure code 2324.  I then decided to just uninstall and start over.  The uninstaller gives me the same error code.  When I try to run the old version of itunes that worked for quite some time I get an error stating the program is not compatible with my operating system.
I am stuck and I cannot call support during normal business hours because I work for a living and won't be in front of my home desktop.

Try to unistall it clean using that microfoft utility
    http://support.microsoft.com/mats/program_install_and_uninstall/
make sure to get rid of all apple stuff using that program, one by one.
Then download installer again, but before disable all firewalls and antivirus.
    and install.

  • Need help with error message after failed iSync: Leopard and Palm OS

I recently upgraded to a new computer which came with Leopard installed. In my old computer, Tiger OS, all was well when syncing to my Palm device.
I tried going from handheld to desktop with slow synch turned on in iSync and now I get this message re: failure--
"iSync Conduit starting 9/6/08 8:21:12 AM
Timeout waiting for Sync Engine, exiting 9/6/08 8:27:31 AM
    iSync Conduit synchronization failed
“iSync Conduit” failed (error = #-2)"
    Any ideas--please help.

    I wish you success.
I have an older Palm, the Zire. Once I got the most recent Palm software and chose, at least for now, to use iSync, I haven't noticed any problems.
Since I haven't used the "T" family of Palms, I can only guess that the process is much the same as with the Zire. You can disable the MAc syncing, move your currently disabled conduits back into Palm syncing, reinstall what Palm lists as your most recent software (and make sure all of your calendar and contacts info is just as you want it), do a sync through the HotSync Manager (ignoring iCal). I'd do a restart just to clear the system. It appears there is a warning note on resetting the iSync history, so you might not want to do that but just manually clean up any inconsistencies in iCal before you try once again.
[I actually wanted to just accept my Palm calendar so trashed my iCal calendar after some questionable syncs, but you can do an export to save the iCal calendar before you wipe it out.]
But my impression is that to get pass the messages you initially wrote up, you'll have to ask the Palm discussions folks for help. They are very helpful.
